❽Worthing Trip - Steyning : A, 26th of July

ステイニング/ Steyning は、特化した観光スポットがあるというのではありませんが、かわいい町！

時間があれば、寄りたいと思っていました。

それが実現でき、想像していたよりも、楽しい散策もできました。


Steyning  is a lovely town, although it does not have a specific highlight.

I thought if there was enough during our trip, I would visit the town.

Actually we made it and our walking in the town was more enjoyable than I thought. 

 駐車場 / Car Park

駐車場の地図もかわいい！
The map in the car park is lovely!

駐車場のちょっとした一角も私には魅力的に思えました。
Even this little corner is attractive for me. 

駐車場から町中へ向かうのに
こんな道を通ります。
私は、こんな道にわくわく感を抱きます。

People use this path from a car park into the town.
Paths like this can and do excite me.

町並み

Houses and Shops 

街灯が好きで、つい撮影してしまいます。
I like street lights, so automatically I photograph them.

でも、上のねずみ君の写真とセットにしたかったので
載せました。

although I would make a set with a mouse
 in the above photograph.

こまどり:Robinは英国の国鳥です。
そして、ガーデニングをしているとよく寄ってくる
人なつこい鳥。
お土産のマグやクリスマスカードにもよく使用されています。

Robin is a national bird of Britain.
And also  the bird is amiable because when people do gardening,
it often is close to them, so most people love it.

奇を衒っていないコテージ ガーデン
いい感じです。

This cottage-garden does not shout ('This is a Cottage Garden!').
I have a good feeling. 

セント アンドリュー教会

The Church of St. Andrew 

聖アンドリューまたは
ステイングのカッスマン/ Cuthmann of Steyning が
建てたのが基であると言われている教会です。
その伝説もるのですが、ここでは省略(すみません）。

They say St. Andrew or Cuthmann of Steyning built the first church.
