'イサムノグチ庭園美術館' から、ことでん・八栗駅 (ヤクリエキ) まで、検索すると、この距離は、徒歩20分、タクシーで5分でした。
その後の予定を考慮して、私達はタクシーを使用しました。

| ことでん・八栗駅 近くに、世界で唯一庵治石 (アジイシ : ★ / ★) の産地として 知られる五剣山 (ゴケンザン、 377m)があります。 別名を八栗山 (ヤクリヤマ)といい、 駅名の由来になったと思われます。 Kotoden Yakuri Station Nearby is Mt. Gokenzan (377m) which is the only known source of Aji Stone: ★ in the world. The Mountain is also known as Mt. Yakuriyama, which is thought to be the origin of the station name. |
Moving
When I searched for the distance from the 'Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum' to Kotoden Yakuri Station, I found that it was a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi ride.
Considering our plans afterwards, we decided to take a taxi.

2) 'まちのシューレ923カフェ'
'Machi no Schule 923 Cafe'
'まちのシューレ923カフェ'は、ことでん・片原駅から、約徒歩6分とサイトには表示されていましたが、私達は、この地に不慣れなのでもう少しかかったように思います。
'まちのシューレ923カフェ'は、人気のあるお店でした。
ランチの予約はできませんが、ランチセットを'お取置き' はできました。
'お取り置き'は時間予約ではなくて、ランチセットを人数分予約すると言うシステムです。
電話でお取り置きをお願いするときに、Rの食品についてのアレルギーを伝えました。
時間予約はできませんが、おおよその来店時間 : 12:10 -15は伝え、私達が実際に来店したのも、ほぼその時間でした。
"シューレ / Schule" はドイツ語で、'学校'や '学び' を意味するそうです。

Their website said that 'Machi no Schule 923 Cafe' was about
a 6-minute walk from Kotoden Kawaramachi Station, but since we were unfamiliar with the area, it probably took a little longer.
'Machi no Schule 923 Cafe' was (is) a popular restaurant.
Timed reservations for lunch are not possible, but we can 'reserve' a lunch set.
When I had called to request the reservation, I mentioned R's food allergies.
We couldn't make a reservation by time, but I told them our approximate arrival time : 12 :10-15, and we actually arrived at around that time.
"Schule" is a German word that means 'school' or 'learning'.

着物のお店も、'ギャラリーen' 、ビルのオーナーはHさんです。 私は、Hさんは、呉服屋さんが本業だと理解しています。 Signboard 'Gallery en' is located in the building of the kimono specialty shop, "Yayawaragi Takasu". The kimono shop is also called 'Gallery en' and the owner of the building is Mr. H. I understand that Mr. H's main occupation is working as a kimono shop owner. |
A. 個展会場で / In My Exhibition
'ギャラリーen' のオーナー、Hさんとは、2019年に開催した私の個展会場 ; ギャラリー412 (Galerie412) でお会いしました。
そのとき、Hさんに見せていただいた、彼のギャラリーや他の写真が素敵で、ぜひ実際のギャラリーを見たいと思いました。
(私は、ギャラリーの写真と思ったのですが、その写真はビル内の別の場所でした）
奇遇にも、私達の "結婚10周年アートの旅" の場所が香川県高松市で、滞在するホテルもそのほか選択した訪問場所も、 'ギャラリーen' に近く、日程に組み込むことができました。
どんなに近くても、さまざまな理由で訪れることができないことも多々ある中、'ギャラリーen' を訪ねることができたのは、本当にラッキーでした。
また、Hさんとには、私達の訪問をうけいれてくださり、お忙しい中、時間もとっていただきました。

In My Exhibition
I met Mr. H, the owner of 'Gallery en', in my exhibition venue, Galerie412, in 2019.
At that time, some photographs of his gallery and others that
Mr. H showed me were so beautiful that I really wanted to see the actual gallery.
(I thought it was a photograph from a gallery, but it was in another part of the building.)
By coincidence, the location of our "10th wedding anniversary art trip" was Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, and the hotel we were staying at and the other places we chose to visit were close to 'Gallery en', so we were able to include it in our itinerary.
No matter how close something is, there are many times when we can't visit it for various reasons, so we were really lucky to be able to visit 'Gallery en'.
Also, Mr. H accepted our visit and took time out of his busy schedule.

Comprehensive Cultural Facility?
Hさんから、着物をデザインしたり、販売したり、ギャラリー経営をされていることは聞いていました。
ですが、実際、彼の活動している場所を拝見してみて、そこは、総合文化施設ではないかと感じました。
ビル内には、呉服屋、茶湯の場、ギャラリーのスペースがあります。
スペー作りにも、着物にも彼のこだわりが感じられました。
Hさんから、彼の美しい奥様とお嬢様を紹介していただきました。
お二人の着物姿に似合った美しい所作が印象に残りました。
ビル内の目的に即して作られたそれぞれのスペースは、Hさんとお嬢様が案内をしてくださりました。
お嬢様は、Rに英語で説明してくださりました。
ご配慮ありがとうございました。
撮影が許されていましたので、私は興奮しつつ、たくさんの写真を撮りました。
ですが、'イサムノグチ庭園美術館' (撮影許可の場所 / メインの庭の撮影は許されていません) の写真で起きた悲しいハプニング？と同じことが起こり、ここで撮影した写真がブログ制作したときには、失っていました。

Rが一緒の時は彼も彼なりの視点で撮影していますが、ここでは私があまりに多くの撮影をしていたので、彼はしていませんでした。

| お抹茶 お抹茶もだしてくださりました。 ありがとうございました。 おいしくいただきました。 おそらく、奥様がお茶は立ててくださったと思います。 このお茶をいただいた場所も、1つのお部屋で、 カウンターがありました。 商談やお茶のおもてなしをする場所かと思われました。 私はお抹茶のマナーを知らず、Hさんに教えていただきました。 ですが、これを書いている今、覚えていません。すみません。 私の叔母は、お茶とお花で生計を立ていましたので、 彼女に幼い頃教わったことがありますが、覚えていません。 いつか覚える日が来るでしょうか？？？ Matcha We were served matcha. Thank you very much. We enjoyed it. I think his wife probably made the tea. The place where we had the tea was also in one of the rooms, with a counter. It seemed like a place for business negotiations and serving tea. I didn't know the etiquette for matcha, so Mr. H taught me. However, as I write this, I don't remember it. I'm sorry. My aunt made a living from tea and flowers, and she taught me when I was little, but I don't remember it. I wonder if I'll ever remember it??? |
Comprehensive Cultural Facility?
I had heard from Mr. H that he designs and sells kimonos and runs a gallery.
But when I actually saw the place where he works, I felt it was a general cultural facility.
Inside the building, there is a kimono shop, tea ceremony spaces, and gallery space.
I could feel his attention to detail in both the space and the kimonos.
He introduced us to his beautiful wife and daughter.
I was impressed by their beautiful manners, which suited their kimonos.
He and his daughter guided us through each space in the building, which was created for a specific purpose.
She explained to R in English.
Thank you for her consideration.
Photography was allowed, so I was excited and took many photographs.
However, the same sad incident happened with the photographs at the ''Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum'' (photography permitted area / photography of the main garden is not permitted), and the photographs I took here were lost by the time I created the blog.

C. ラッキーな写真 / Lucky Photographs
下の写真は、記録に残っていた写真です。
今、考えると、i-cloudの容量が小さく、あまりに多くの写真を保存していたので、古いものから自動的に削除されたのかもしれません。
後に、i-cloudの容量をかなり大きくしたのですが、それまでに、多くの写真を失っていました。
少しだけでも残っていたことをラッキーに思います。

Thinking back, I think that maybe my i-Cloud storage was small and
I had saved so many photographs that the oldest ones were automatically deleted.
Later, I increased the storage space on my i-Cloud considerably, but by then I had lost a lot of photos.
I feel lucky that even a few remained.

| 美しい障子 4階には、大きな美しい障子の壁面があったと記憶しています。 (もしかしたら3階または5階だったかも？） そこは、この写真を撮影した場所ではなかったと思います。 お嬢様達が幼い頃、障子を破いて遊んでしまったという 微笑ましいエピソードをお聞きしました。 その修復に結構な金額が必要で、Hさんとしては、 微笑んでばかりはいられなかったらしいです。 Beautiful Shoji Screens I remember that there was a large, beautiful shoji screen wall on the 4th floor. (Maybe it was 3rd floor or 5th floor?) I don't think that's where this photograph was taken. I heard a heartwarming story about how the daughter(s) used to tear up the shoji screens when they were very young. and play around with them. It cost a considerable amount of money to repair them, so Mr. H couldn't just smile all the time. |
壁面の障子が美しい階は、建築雑誌に紹介されていたと記憶しています。
I remember that this floor, with its beautiful shoji screens on the walls, was featured in an architectural magazine.

| 茶室 ビル内には、複数の茶室があります。 ここでは、子供達へ茶道を普及する活動もされています。 また、私のように身体的に正座の姿勢ができない人のための椅子も 用意され、細やかな心配りを感じました。 Tea-room There are several tea-rooms in the building. They also promote the tea ceremony to children here. And also they provide chairs for people like me who are physically unable to Seiza : sit upright, which I thought was a great thoughtful touch. |

"Seiza is the formal, traditional way of sitting in Japan.

Hさんにお会いした後に、猪熊 弦一郎 (イノクマゲンイチロウ / 1902 - 1993 ) の壁画がある香川県庁東館へ行きました。
壁画のタイトルは、『和敬清寂 (ワケイセイジャク)』、茶湯の世界の言葉に由来しています。
このようなリンクがあると私は嬉しいです。
After meeting Mr. H, we went to the Kagawa Prefectural Government Office East Building, where there is a work of murals by Genichiro Inokuma (1902 - 1993).
The title of the mural comes from "Wakeiseijaku," a term used in the world of tea ceremony.
I'm glad to have links like this.
D. 季刊紙 / Quarterly Newspaper
Hさんは、季刊紙 "たかす文庫" を出しています。
日本文化を身近な場所から紹介するという趣旨の季刊紙です。
Hさんは、多方面から、着物、またはそれに付随する文化を普及させる試みをしているように感じます。
その活動も、長く続けていらっしゃることも、アイディアも素晴らしいな〜と思います。

Quarterly Newspaper
Mr. H publishes the quarterly newspaper "Takasu Bunko".
It is a quarterly paper that aims to introduce Japanese culture from familiar places.
It seems that Mr. H is trying to popularize kimono and the culture associated with it from various angles.
I think the activities he does, the fact that he has continued them for so long, and his ideas are all wonderful.
E. 次の試み / Next Attempt
現在のビル(2023年2月)の横で、Hさんの新しい試みが始まっていました。
一体何ができるのでしょう、楽しみです。
Next Development
Mr. H's new endeavor has begun next to the current building (February 2023).
I'm looking forward to seeing what he will be able to do.

'たかすビル'(?)' には、たくさんの素敵な空間がありました。
私のミスで、その空間を写真で紹介できないことが悔やまれますが、'秘密の庭'めいて、結果としては良かったかもしれません。
日頃、私には馴染みのない着物の文化に接することができ、ファンタジーの世界にいたようにも感じました。
リフレッシュしました。
ありがとうございました。
再び、高松市を訪れた際には、新しい試みの完成を見ることができるでしょう。

| '木守柿' '木守柿' (キモリガキ) という茶菓子をお土産にいただきました。 日持ちがしないので、旅行中に食べました。 とてもおいしかったです。 ありがとうございました。 Kimorigaki' We was given a souvenir of Japanese sweets called 'Kimorigaki'. It doesn't keep well, so we ate them during our trip. It was very lovely. Thank you very much.  |
Gratitude
Thank you to Mr. H, his wife, and his daughter for taking the time out of your busy schedules to see us.
There were many wonderful spaces in the 'Takasu Building'(?)'.
I regret that due to my mistake I cannot show the space in photographs, but the result was probably good, as it had a 'secret garden' feel to it.
Being able to experience kimono culture, something I'm not familiar with, made me feel like I was in a fantasy world.
I was refreshed.

When I visit Takamatsu City again, I'm sure I'll be able to see the completion of this new endeavor.
