庭は夫Rが主に世話をしています。
どこに何を植えるかは、殆どの場合、二人で相談しています。
My husband R mainly takes care of our garden.
In most cases, we talk about where and what to plant.

| オキザリス 鉢植えから地植えにした後、 1つ2つの花が咲く場面しか見ませんでした。 今年はこんなにたくさんの花が咲いて嬉しいです。 Oxalis After moving from pots to the ground, I had only seen one or two flowers. I'm glad that so many flowers have bloomed this year.    花達も、 「嬉しい！嬉しい！」 と言っているように感じます。 I feel that the flowers are also saying, "I'm glad! I'm happy!" |

| 地植えのパンジー 苗購入し、鉢を経由せず直接地植えにしました。 過酷な環境ながら花を咲かせています。 Ground-planted Pansies We bought seedlings and planted them directly in the ground without going through pots. The flowers are blooming in a harsh environment.  |

| こちらのパンジーは、上の写真のパンジーと 同時期に購入しました。 鉢植えの方が花つきは良いです。 Potted Pansies We bought these pansies at the same time as the pansies in the photographs above. Potted plants have better flowering. |

| 地植えのモミジゼラニウム 鉢植えから地植えにしました。 乾燥気味の土壌が合っているので軒下を選びました。 Ground-planted Maple Geranium R moved these from pots to the ground. We chose under the eaves because the dry soil is suitable. |

| 3つの挿木がここまで大きくなりました。 The three cuttings have grown to this. |

| ミニシクラメン 赤い花がキャンドルの灯を思わせます。 Mini Cyclamen The red flowers are reminiscent of candle lights. |

| 葉牡丹 葉牡丹 (ハボタン) のミニ版です。 この子達はどこへ植えられるのか 2週間待っています。 Ornamental Kale They are mini versions of Ornamental Kale. These are waiting for two weeks before deciding where they will be planted. |

| ポインセチア 鎌倉の友人Nファミリーからいただたポインセチアです。 いただいた時はピンクでした。 雨粒が葉に残り綺麗です。 Poinsettia This is Poinsettia from our friends N family in Kamakura. It was pink when we were given it. Raindrops remain on the leaves and are beautiful.  ピンクの葉は、奥ゆかしい赤と緑になりました。 雨粒と共に美しいけれど、たとえ雨粒がなくとも 十分素敵なポインセチアです。 The pink leaves have turned graceful red and green. It's beautiful with raindrops, but it's a very lovely Poinsettia even without raindrops. |

| 小さなシーンなのに、赤と緑のバリエーションの 豊富さを感じさせてくれます。 Even though it is a small scene, there are plenty of variations of red and green. |

| こんにちは！ 「こんにちは！」 と言っているように感じます。 Hello! I feel this says Hello! |

| アイビーの後に Rが玄関アプローチに続く階段脇にパンジーを植えました。 このことは知らなかったので、気がついた時にはちょっと驚きました。 今までアイビーが独占していた場所でした。 Rはアイビーが嫌いでこの場所から削除することに懸命でした。 After Ivy R planted pansies on the side of the steps leading to the entrance approach. I didn't know this, so I was a little surprised when I realized there. It was a place that Ivy had monopolized until now. R hates Ivy and was working hard to remove it from this location. |

クリスマスツリーを組み立てたり、ライトをセッティングしたりすることはRが担当しています。
ほぼライトのセッティングは終わりました。
クリスマスツリーのオーナメントの飾り付けや他のコーナーのクリスマスデコレーションは私の担当です。
それはまだ終わっていません。
例年クリスマスデコレーションは12月に入ってからしていましたが今年は11月25日に英国に住んでいる友人Miさんがやってくるので早めに準備を始めました。

Christmas Decoration Lights
R is in charge of assembling the Christmas tree and setting the lights.
The light setting is almost finished.
I am in charge of decorating Christmas tree ornaments and Christmas decorations in other corners.
I haven't finished yet.
I used to do Christmas decorations every year in December, but this year our friend Mi who lives in Britain, would visit us on 25th of November, so we started preparing early.
