1) フルーツサラダ / Fruit Salad 

夫Rがフルーツサラダを作っています。

日本の湿気や暑さに慣れていないせいか、6月は、フルーツサラダを作る機会が減ったように感じます。

7月に入り、日本の夏の果物が出回るようになり、彼はそれらの美味しさに感動し、また、ちょこちょこ作り始めました。

季節外れのみかんやリンゴもそこそこ美味しいのでそれも楽しんでいます。

Fruit Salad 

My husband R makes fruit salads.

Maybe because he is not used to the humidity and heat in Japan, I feel that the chances of making fruit salad have decreased in June.

In July, Japanese summer fruits became available, and he was impressed by their deliciousness and started making them here and there.

Out-of-season oranges (Mikan) and apples are also delicious, so he enjoys them too.

2) Rのブルーベリー / R's Blueberry

正確に言えば、'私達のブルーベリー' なのですが、Rが最も力を入れ育てていて、庭の中で一番好きな植物がブルーベリーなので、

'Rのブルーベリー' 

と私は感じるのです。

昨年は、彼はブルーベリーの収穫をホウキを片手にリスと戦い、今年は網を購入して組み立てました。

2021年5月18日と 23日、ブルーベリーの網 / Net for Blueberry,

最近、１つ、2つと収穫できるようになりました。

今日はRが5つ収穫してきました。

大きなブルーベリー
例年よりっも1粒の大きさがとても大きい！
小皿は私の磁器作品 ; 水玉シリーズです。

The size of one berry is much larger than usual!
The small plate is my porcelain work; polka dot series.

R's Blueberry

To be precise, it's'our blueberries', but I feel'R's blueberries' because R puts the most effort into growing them and his favourite plant in the garden is the blueberry.

Last year he fought squirrels with a broom to harvest blueberries, and this year he bought and assembled a net.

R has picked 5 blueberries today.

ガビチョウはモノマネが上手です。

一人で合唱部って(?)、歌ってます。(と思う)

Chinese Hwamei is good at impersonating.

Chinese Hwamei is singing as imitation of chorus. (I think)

ガビチョウ、鶯、カラス..そして車の音？

Chinese Hwamei, Japanese Bush Warbler, Crow .. and the sound of a car?

C. 鶯独唱 / Warbler Soloist 

7月12日  午後6時 

 6pm, 12th of July

動画の最後に鶯が逃げたのは、ここにトンビがやってきたからでした。

逃げながらも歌い続けるところに鶯魂 (?) を感じます。

At the end of the last video the Warbler escaped because Black Kite came here.

I feel the Warbler Spirit (?) where he keeps singing, while running away.
