1) ブラシノキ / Bottlebrush
私と夫Rは、鎌倉山から七里ガ浜住宅街へ歩いてきました。
鎌倉山散策については下記。
この季節、初めてブラシノキを見ました。
ブラシノキは潮風に強いと聞いていたので、七里ヶ浜住宅街にあるのは適しているもの、私にとっては珍しい植物で、たくさん写真を撮りました。

I and my husband R walked from Kamakurayama to the Shichirigahama residential area.

I saw Bottlebrushes for the first time this season.
(Bottlebrushes ; Melaleuca Glauca, Callistemon; ; Albany Bottlebrush; Red bottlebrush, Crimson Bottlebrush, or Lemon Bottlebrush)
I heard that Albany Bottlebrush is strong against the sea breeze and is a suitable plant in the Shichirigahama residential area, however, it is a rare plant for me, so I took many photographs of it.

別名、カリステモン (ラテン名)、 ハナマキ (花槙)、キンポウジュ(金宝樹)。 学名のカリステモンはギリシャ語で 、"美しい雄しべ" という意味だそうです。 ハナマキ (花槙)、キンポウジュ(金宝樹)、という名も、 "美しい雄しべ" という名も、この植物にふさわしいと感じます。 もちろん、'ブラシノキ'も！ |

2) TEPEE HEART

TEPEE HEART 一般住宅ではないな〜と思いつつ、撮影しました。 後になって、TEPEE HEART (テピー・ハート)という建築会社の モデルハウスだとわかりました。 TEPEE HEARTは、湘南地区で建築から施工まで、扱います。 公式サイト：★ Official Website ★ (in Japanese and some English) I took photographs while thinking that it was not a general house. Later, I found out that it is a model house of a construction company called TEPEE HEART. TEPEE HEART handles everything from architecture to construction in the Shonan area. |

3) 花、花、花 / Flower, Flower and Flowers
コロナ禍の世の中になる前は、Rは、頻繁に外出していましたし、
七里ガ浜住宅街の西友にも定期的に行っていました。
住宅街の色々な道も私よりもずっと知っています。
私と一緒に出掛けた時、彼が発見した様々なことを見せようとしてくれます。
今日は、花でいっぱいの庭に連れて行ってくれました。
ここの庭は、TEPEE HEARTとは対極的です。
Flower, Flower and Flowers
Before the world of COVID-19 calamity, R went out frequently and regularly visited Seiyu supermarket in the Shichirigahama residential area.
He knows more about the various roads in a residential area than I do.
When he goes out with me, he tries to show me various things he has discovered.
Today, he took me to a garden full of flowers.
The garden here is opposite TEPEE HEART.

| 植物を育てることが好きで、好きで好きすぎて こうなったと言う印象です。 植物を育てることが庭づくりよりも優先順位が高いのです。 My impression that the owner here loved growing plants, loved them too much, and the garden became like this. Growing plants is a higher priority than gardening. |
最初の印象は、これはちょっとやりすぎなのではないかと思ったのですが、花々を見ているうちに、ここの住人の方は、本当に植物を育てるのがお好きなのだな〜と感じました。
庭を構成するための植物という考え方ではないのだと気がつきました。
咲き誇っている花々を見つつ
「すごい！すごい！」
と何度も言って、何枚も撮影しました。
My first impression was that this was a little overkill, but while looking at the flowers, I felt that the owner here really likes to grow plants...
I realized that it wasn't the idea of planting to make up a garden.

4) 2つのプロムナード / Two Promenades
七里ガ浜住宅街の中心地には、'桜のプロムナード' と '緑のプロムナード' があります。
'桜のプロムナード'沿いには、ドラッグストアーや西友スーパーマーケット、カフェ、レストランが集中しています。
'緑のプロムナード'沿いは、主に一般住宅が並んでいます。

'緑のプロムナード' / 'Green Promenade' 雀 幼い頃、雀はどこにでもいたように記憶しています。 ですが、最近あまり見ませんね。 Rは 「ここのプロムナードでよく雀を見る」 と言っています。 幼い頃、雀はどこにでもいたように記憶しています。 ですが、最近あまり見ませんね。 Sparrow When I was little, I remember sparrows as if they were everywhere. Two Promenades
In the centre of Shichirigahama residential area, there are 'Cherry Promenade' and 'Green Promenade'.
Drugstore, Seiyu supermarket, cafes and restaurants are concentrated along the 'Cherry Promenade'.
Along the 'Green Promenade', mainly ordinary houses are lined up.

are carp-shaped windsocks traditionally flown
in Japan to celebrate Tango no sekku (端午の節句),
a traditional calendrical event which
is now designated a national holiday: Children's Day."
西友では、Rがずっと欲しがっていた、台湾パイナップルを買うことができました。
彼は、台湾パイナップルのニュース記事を読んで興味があったのです。
At Seiyu, I was able to buy the Taiwanese pineapple that R had long wanted.
He is interested having read a news article about Taiwanese Pineapples.
5) 白いモッコウバラ
