夜桜
庭のさくらんぼの木の花が満開でした。

Cherry Blossoms at Night
The flowers of a bird cherry tree in our garden were in full bloom.

私と夫Rはスパークリング・ワインを飲みつつ

桜を楽しみました。

I and my husband R enjoyed the cherry blossoms 

while drinking sparkling wine.

Rが注いでくれています。
R is pouring.

ステイホームの時期でなくとも、元々、私達は結構別々な時間を

過ごしています。

食事も好きな時間に好きな風に食べています。

最近は、一緒に食べる時は、ランチで、ディナーのような内容です。

ステイホームの時期になり、より一層、1階と2階で別々に過ごすようになりました。

1階がRのオフィスを兼ね、2階は私のスタジオです。

今日も夕飯は別々で、私は日のあるうちに食べました。

(夕飯とランチが一緒のような？）

通常Rは、夜遅い時間帯の夕飯です。

なので、二人で一緒に夜桜を見つつ、シャンパンを飲むことは、貴重な出来事です。

桜色のシャンパン
桜柄の手拭いは、昨年、Nファミリーから頂きました。
最初は壁に飾り、その後はキッチン用にしています。
グラスに手拭いの桜色が反射しています。

Cherry-colored Champagne
Last year, we were given  a cherry blossom pattern Tenugui
from the N family.

Tenugui is a thin Japanese hand towel made from cotton.

The cherry blossom colour of Tenugui is reflected on the glass.

Mostly, we spend time quite differently, even when it's not the time to stay home.

We eat at our favourite times and in our favourite ways.

These days, when we eat together at lunch which is like a dinner.

It's time for a stay home, and we've been spending more time on the ground and first floors separately.

The ground floor is serving both as our living-room and his office, and the first floor is my studio.

Our dinners were separate today as well, and I ate it during the day. (Is it like dinner and lunch together?)

Usually R has late night dinners.

Therefore, it is a valuable event for us to drink champagne while looking at the cherry blossoms at night together.

シャンパン片手におしゃべりしました。
We chatted with champagne in one hand.

Rがとっても嬉しそうでした。
私も...

R looked very happy.
Me too...
