ビストロ ラ ペクニコヴァ / Bistro La PEKNIKOVA 

Rが最も好きなレストランが北鎌倉の "ラ・ペクニコヴァ"  です。

渡英前に "ラ・ペクニコヴァ"  へ行き、渡英後のこの日、また

 "ラ・ペクニコヴァ"へ行きました。

この日は、Rの誕生日のお祝いとして、姉Yも招きました。

(彼の誕生日は、この日ではありません)

馬場シェフは、いつものようにRの食べられないものを避けて、美しく料理を作ってくれました。

そして私と姉のお料理には、Rには使用できない食材を使って、同じメニューでも違う
料理を用意してくれました。

全ての料理の撮影はしていませんし、撮影したとしても焦点がなく、良い出来ではありません。

ですが、'私の写真よりもずっと本当の馬場シェフのお料理は、素晴らしい'ということを伝えておきます。

Bistro La PEKNIKOVA 

R's most favourite restaurant is "La Peknikova" in Kita-Kamakura.

We went to "La Peknikova" before we visited Britain, and on this day after Britain, we went to "La Peknikova"  again.

On this day, my sister Y was also invited to celebrate R's birthday.

(His birthday is not this day)

As usual, Baba chef made beautiful dishes for R, avoiding what R cannot eat.

And for me and Y, he used ingredients that R cannot eat preparing different dishes even though they are from the same menu as R's.

I haven't photographed all the dishes, and even if I did, they would not be in focus.

However, let me tell you that "Chef Baba's food is much better than my photographs".

お誕生日おめでとう！R!

Rの好きな、いつものフランスのスパークリングワインで
乾杯をしました。
その後、白ワインと赤ワインも飲みました。

Happy Birthday! R!
We toasted with R's favourite, as usual French sparkling wine.
After that, I also drank white wine and red wine.

さんまのテリーヌ
夏と秋の間のお料理だと感じます。

Pacific Saury Terrine
I feel that this is a dish between summer and autumn.

白ワイン / White Wine

殆どの場合、私はコース料理の他に
マカロニグラタンを注文します。
マカロニグラタンには玉ねぎが入っているので
Rは食べられません。
私は玉ねぎ入りのクリームソース味が恋しいので、
ここでいただきます。
これは、マカロニグラタンにかわる違うお料理、珍しい...。

Most of the time, I order macaroni gratin
in addition to the course meal.

Macaroni gratin contains onions so R can't eat.

I miss the taste of cream sauce with onions, so I would have it here.

This is a different dish that replaces macaroni gratin, 

which is unusual.

赤ワイン / Red Wine

肉料理 
私はいつもは鴨またはラムですがこの日は、

豚肉(特別な)を選びました。
偶然にも3人とも同じ。

Rのソースは私達のものとは、違います。
 

Meat Dish 
I always order duck or lamb, but on this day I chose a special pork.
Coincidentally, all three are the same.
The sauce for R is different from ours.

デザート
初期の頃、馬場シェフのデザートはイマイチ

(美味しくないわけではありません)でしたが、

最近はとても美味しいです。

Dessert

In the early days, Chef Baba's dessert was not so great,

(it was not that it was not delicious),

but nowadays they are even better.

ごちそうさまでした。/ Thank you for the meal.

美味しく、楽しい食事でした。
