ナタリー・ベル・ビル
テート・モダンは国立近代美術館で、テート・グループ : "テート"の1つです。
英国政府が運営しています。
建物は、旧バンクサイド発電所を改修して再利用しています。
スイスの建築事務所：ヘルツォーク&ド・ムーロン (創立 : 1978) の設計により

2000年に開館しました。

現在この建物の名前は、ナタリー・ベル・ビル / Natalie Bell Building : ★です。

Natalie Bell Building

Tate Modern is the National Museum of Modern Art,

and is one of the Tate Group : "Tate".

Operated by the British Government.

The building is the former Bankside Power Station
that has been renovated and reused.

The Museum was opened in 2000, the design was by

Swiss architect firm : Herzog & de Meuron (founded : 1978).

Currently the name of this building is Natalie Bell Building : ★.

2) "テート" / "Tate"
私は、"テート"ファンで、今までに、全ての"テート" : 下記に行っています。

テート・ブリテン(1995 ~)、
テート・モダン(2000 ~)、
テート・リバプール (1998 ~)、
テート・セント・アイヴス (1993 ~)

テート・モダンが最も好き。

鑑賞するという意味では、テート・ブリテンが好きです。

また、思い出深いのは、テート・セント・アイヴス。

テート・セント・アイヴスで、彫刻家のバーバラ・ヘップワース / Dame Barbara Hepworth (1903 -1975 )を知り、彼女の作品が好きになり、彼女の'スタジオ(仕事場)と庭' の美術館 : BARBARA HEPWORTH MUSEUM AND SCULPTURE GARDEN
(テート・セント・アイヴの分館) は私のお気に入りです。

私は、本来アート作品は、そのアート作品に似合った場所にあるべきで、美術館に展示されるのが最適ではないと考えています。

その考えを後押ししてくれるのがバーバラ・ヘップワースの庭です。

もちろん、美術館での展示を反対しているのではないし、私もその展示や展覧会で、恩恵を多大に受けています。

でもアート作品は、その作品を最も愛してくれる人の場所にあるのが幸せなのではないかと思います。

ただ現在の'現代アート'はその領域でなく、"私を見て！考えて！"という思想の作家の作品で、'現代アート'に携わる学芸員もそれを望んでいるのだと、私は理解しています。

その系列の作品は、個人所有が非常に難しく、結果的に、美術館、公共施設、企業の所有になります。

美術館の場合は、アート作品を商品化した品物を購入することで、展覧会で経験した思想や感動を家に持ち帰るのだと思います。

"Tate"

I am a fan of "Tate" and I've been to each "Tate" : below so far.

Tate Britain (1995 ~)
Tate Modern (2000 ~)
Tate Liverpool (1998 ~)
Tate St Ives (1993 ~)

I like Tate Modern most of all.

In terms of viewing, I like Tate Britain.

Also, my favorite memory is Tate St Ives.

In Tate St. Ives, discovering the sculptor Barbara Hepworth (1903 -1975) and liking her work, her studio with garden' museum :
BARBARA HEPWORTH MUSEUM AND SCULPTURE GARDEN
(Tate St. Ives's Annex) is my favorite.

I think that fundamentally art works should be in a place that suits them, and it is not optimal to be exhibited in a museum.

Barbara Hepworth's garden is the one that supports that idea.

Of course, I'm not against exhibitions at the museums or galleries, and I have benefited from them very much.

But I think it's happy for an art work to be in the place of the person who loves it most.

However, present-day 'contemporary art' is not like this, it is the work of an artist with the idea of "Look at me! And Think!", and curators involved in 'contemporary art' also want that I understand.

The works of that style are very difficult to own individually, and as a result, are owned by museums, institutions and companies.

In the case of a museum, I think that you can bring back the thoughts and excitement that you experienced at the exhibition by purchasing items that are commercialized artworks.

3) ブラバトニック・ビル / Blavatnik Building

ブラバトニック・ビル / Blavatnik Building

テートの新しい建物：
ブラバトニック・ビル / Blavatinik Buildingは

2016年に開館しています。
当初の名前は、'スイッチ・ハウス' でしたが、ソ連 (1922 - 1991) 出身の実業家、
レオナルド・ブラバトニック / Leonardo Blavatnik (1957 -) の多額の寄付により、
'ブラバトニックビル / Blavatnik' Buildingと改名されました。

Blavatnik Building

The new Tate building : 'Blavatinik Building' was opened in 2016.

The original name was 'Switch House', but it was renamed 'Blavatnik Building'
with a large donation from Leonardo Blavatnik (1957 -), a businessman,

who came from the Soviet Union (1922 - 1991).

撮影した時、通りかかった女性が、
テイト・モダンの雰囲気にぴったりの方でした。
かっこいい女性です。
