A. どこですか〜？ / Where are you~?
ストックホルム旅行の最初の観光は、5つ星ファーストフード・ニシンバーガー店でした (笑い)。
私と夫Rの双方が、食い意地が張っています。
屋台です。
地下鉄駅スルッセン / Slussenの前にある広場 : セーデルマルム / Södermalmstorg にバーガー店があると思い、そこへ行きました。
いくつかの情報がその場所を示していました。
ですが、その場所一帯が工事中で、その屋台が見つかりませんでした。
「ショック.....」
でも諦めきれない....、ガイドブックで知ってから、私の期待はつのっていました....こういう私の期待の大きさは、Rには理解できません....なぜなら~~、彼は何も調べないから....。
広場のストックホルム市立博物館のスタッフに聞き、ガムラスタン(旧市街地) / Gamla stanにバーガー店があることを知りました。
ラッキーにも、そんなに遠くはないらしい...。
スルッセンから徒歩で橋を渡り、ガムラスタン(島)へ向かいました。
のちに知りましたが、もともとあった場所に戻ったという話。
私達は、店が一時的に営業していた住所に行ってしまったのでした。
出だしから、'ポカ'...まあ、いつものことと言えば、そうなので、気持ちを入れ替えて、前向きに！前向きに！
ガンバレ、食いしん坊な私！

The first sightseeing in Stockholm Trip was the 5 star fast food herring burger shop (Laugh).
Both I and my husband R are picky eaters.
The burger shop is "NYSTEKY STRÖMMING".
(strömming : Baltic Sea Herring)
It is a stall.
I thought there was the burger shop in the square : Södermalmstorg in front of the Slussen underground station, so we went there.
Some information showed that to be the location.
However, the whole area was under construction and the stall could not be found.
"Shock....."
But I couldn't give up....My expectations were high since I knew from the guidebook....R didn't understand how big my expectations were.... becau~se he doesn't research anything....
We asked a staff in the Stockholm City Museum in the square and found out that the burger shop is on Gamla stan (Old City).
Luckily, it didn't seem that far...
We crossed the bridge on foot from Slussen and headed for Gamla stan (island).
Later I found out the story that they returned to the place where it was originally.
We went to the address where the stall was temporarily open.
From the start, 'Faux Pas'... Well, as usual, so change my mind and be positive! positively!
Cheer up, gluttonous me!
B. 幸せな気持ち / Happy Feeling
橋を渡ると、すぐにバーガーの屋台が見つかりました。
屋台は、ガムラスタンのスルッセン島寄りの端にありました。
ガムラスタンの中心地からは離れているのかもしれませんが、私達にとっては、嬉しい場所にありました。

As soon as we crossed the bridge, I found the burger stall.
The stall was on the edge of Gamla stan, closer to Slussen.
It may be far from the centre of Gamla stan, but it was a good place for us.

とても迫力がある彫像だったので、嬉しくなって、何枚も撮影してしまいました。

店名に冠しているように具材がニシンであることが特徴。
スタッフもフレンドリーです。
上手に作られたバーガーで、幸せな気持ちになりました。

The feature is that the main ingredient is herring as it is in the shop name.
The staff are friendly.
Well made burger made me happy.

ニシンのバーガーを求めて、結果的にガムラスタン (旧市街地) / Gamla stanにきてしまいましたが、ここは最初から、この日に訪れる予定にしていました。
なので、まあ、'ポカ' によって、予定が大きく崩れた訳ではありませんでした。
私の精神もここではまだそんなに荒れていません (苦笑)。
リダーホルメン島 / Riddarholmen、
ヘルゲアンツホルメン島 / Helgeandsholmen、ストロムスボー島 / Strömsborg
が含まれます。
ガムラスタン : Gamla stanは、スウェーデン語で、古い街 (Old Town) を意味します。
ストックホルムという名前は、当初はガムラスタンのみを指していました。
現在、ここには、ストックホルム宮殿王宮 (Stockholms slott)、
ストックホルム大聖堂 / Storkyrkan、
ストールトルゲット広場 / Stortorget、
ノーベル賞博物館、
リダーホルム教会などの人気の観光ポイントやたくさんのお土産さんなどもあります。

Old City
Looking for the herring burger stall, we ended up in Gamla stan, but I was planning on visiting here on this day from the beginning.
So, well, it didn't mean that our schedule was broken by 'Faux Pas.
My mind wasn't too rough here yet (Wry Smile).
Gamla stan is Stockholm's old town, mainly on Starsholmen Island, officially it includes the surrounding islets : Riddarholmen, Helgeandsholmen and Strömsborg.
Gamla stan means Old Town in Swedish.
The name Stockholm originally referred to Gamla Stan only.
Today, there are also popular tourist spots such as
Stockholm Palace / Stockholms slott,
Stockholm Cathedral / Storkyrkan,
Stortorget Square, Nobel Prize Museum, Riddarholmen Church
and many souvenirs shops.

Who are you?
According to Wiki about the statue,
"Axel Evert Taube (1890 – 1976) was a Swedish author, artist, composer and singer.
He is widely regarded as one of Sweden's most respected musicians
and the foremost troubadour of the Swedish ballad tradition
in the 20th century." Järntorget, Gamla stan, Stockholm.
His portrait has been used on Swedish 50 Kronor note.

C. ウースターランガーガタン通り / Österlånggatan
ウースターランガーガタン通り / Österlånggatanを歩きます。
Österlånggatanは、Eastern Long Street : 東の長い通りの意味で、すでに通りの意味が含まれていますが、わかりやすいように、ウースターランガーガタン通り と書きます。
この通りには、ギネスブックに載っている、レストランの "デン・ガイルディン・フレデン / Den Gyldene Freden" があります。
ギネスブック入りしている理由は、1722年開業当時から、内装も変わっていない、
最も古いレストランの1つだからです。

Österlånggatan
Walk on Osterlånggatan.
Österlånggatan means Eastern Long Street.
This street has a restaurant "Den Gyldene Freden" in the Guinness Book of Records,
because it's one of the oldest restaurants that hasn't changed its interior since its opening in 1722.
Unfortunately we didn't know about it when we walked this way.

免税扱いをしてくれました。 私達は日本へ本帰国する際、ヒースロー空港で免税の手続きをしました。 (Rは本帰国ではないけれど）

We did some shopping at this shop.
They treated our purchase as tax-free.
We went through the tax exemption procedure at Heathrow Airport
when we returned to Japan.

後になって、この彫像は、ストックホルム大聖堂 / Storkyrkan にある木造のセント・ジョージとドラゴン : Saint George and the Dragon (Notke) のレプリカだと知りました。
私は、セント・ジョージのドラゴン伝説を知った時に、セント・ジョージと覚えました。
ドラゴン退治する彫像や絵を見ると、セント・ジョージと大天使ミカエルの名前しか出てきません。

It was a very powerful statue, so I was so happy that I took many photographs.
Later I found out that the statue was a replica of the wooden Saint George and the Dragon in Stockholm Cathedral / Storkyrkan .
The original statue is by 15th century painter and sculptor, Bernt Notke (c. 1440 – c.1509).
The original statue was created to commemorate the victory at the Battle of Brunkeberg in 1471.
St. George is also known as Georgios (? - 303).
When I knew the legend of St. George and the dragon, I remembered a knight's name is St. George.
I look at the statues and paintings that slay a dragon, I can only think of the names St. George and the archangel Michael.
