うさこちゃん (ミッフィー / Miffy :ナインチェ / nijntje) の創作者、
ディック・ブルーナ / Dick Bruna (1927 – 2017) の仕事部屋が、ユトレヒトのセントラル博物館 / Centraal Museumに再現されてあります。

このセクションは、前回からの引き続きの部分と、ユトリヒトの街中にある、ブルーナーが立ち寄ったカフェとお菓子屋さんについてです。
このセクションも、私のブログのミッフィーシリーズの中に含めます。
Museum
The Studio of Dick Bruna (1927 - 2017), the creator of Miffy is reproduced in the Centraal Museum.
In the previous section, I wrote about that Studio.
This section is a continuation of the previous section, as well as a cafe and a bakery in Utrecht that Bruna had used regularly.
I included this section in my blog 'Miffy series'.

ブルーナの書棚
『鳥獣戯画 : 鳥獣人物戯画』（12～13世紀）を見つけて、ちょっと驚き、
ちょっと嬉しくなりました。
日本の編集者からのプレゼントでしょうか？
Bruna's Book Shelf
I found a book, "Chōjū-jinbutsu-giga”
(literally "Animal-person Caricatures"/ 12th - 13th Century)
and I was a little surprised and became a little glad.
Is it a gift from a Japanese editor?
Chōjū-jinbutsu-giga, commonly shortened to Chōjū-giga, is a famous set of
four picture scrolls (Emakimono), belonging to Kōzan-ji temple in Kyoto, Japan.

ブルーナーがよく行ったというカフェ
2,3回、この前を通ったのですが、いつもいっぱいで入る気が失われました。 でも、魅力的なカフェです。
Cafe that Bruna often visited
We passed here a couple of times, but they were always full
and I lost my motivation for enter.
But it is an attractive cafe.

ブルーナーがお気に入りだったお菓子屋さんには行きました。
We went to a bakery that Bruna loved.

| ミッフィー好きには有名なお店なので、こんなお菓子がありました。 It is a famous shop for Miffy lovers, so there were such sweets.  |

私が欲しかったのは、１枚づつ違うミッフィーがついたビスケットです。
日本へ帰る日が随分先になるので、日付が新しいビスケットの袋を選びました。
それをミッフィー柄の缶に入れてもらいました。
とても親切な定員さんでした。
ありがとうございました。
Miffy's Biscuits
What I wanted was biscuits, each with a different Miffy picture.
Our date of return to Japan would be much later,
so we chose packs with the latest eat-by date.
The shop lady put each in a Miffy pattern tin.
She was very kind.

お土産にしたので、私はビスケットの味を知りません。
少し残念....。
Were they delicious~~?
Because they were given as souvenirs, I do not know the taste of the biscuits.
I am a little disappointed...

たくさん翻訳されていますが、
驚くことに、ブルーナの絵本のすべてではありません。

Many of Bruna's books have been translated into Japanese,
but surprisingly, not all of them.

ネットで多少調べた後に、この本を読みました。
ブルーナについて、抱いていた私の疑問の多くが
解消されてゆきました。
文章がブルーナに対する暖かな気持ちが伝わってきて、
ネットの文章との違いを感じました。
本は、いいな〜と思います。

After some research on the Internet, I read this book.
Many of my questions about Bruna have been resolved.
The writing conveyed the warm feelings about Bruna
and I felt the difference from the writing on the Internet.
I think the book is adore.

両方の美術館に行き、ブルーナのグラフィック作品を見ることができ、彼の人格を少しは理解できた有意義な鑑賞でした。
博物館のアトリエは、機会があればまた行ってみたいと思いましたが、ミッフィー博物館は1度で十分に思います。
これでミッフィーシリーズは終了です。

Two Museums
By visiting both Museums I gain a meaningful appreciation of Bruna's graphic works and understand a bit of his personality.

I would like to go to the Studio in the Centraal Museum again if I had the chance, but once was enough for the Miffy Museum.
