A. 博物館の前に / Before the Museum
8月5日に私と夫Rは、オランダ入りし、ユトレヒトに一週間滞在しました。
私は20代の頃に、タマ美 (多摩美術大学) が主催するヨーロッパ・ツアーの途中で、アムステルダムへ寄りました。
ですが、アンネ・フランクの家と、ダイヤモンド工房見学、添乗員でグルメのFさん個人的手配の'中華料理店ツアー'へ夕飯を食べに行ったことくらいしか記憶にありません。('寄った'という感じなんですよ）
その旅行は、'ヨーロッパ13都市8ヶ国・１ヶ月滞在'で、各地で美術館または有名な絵画がある場所を訪れることが目的でした。
今回のオランダ旅行はユトレヒトを拠点にし、アムステルダムはじめ、日帰りできる範囲の場所に行こうという計画でした。
まずはじめに、ユトレヒト観光。
滞在場所から徒歩圏内の "鉄道博物館 / Railway Museum / Het Spoorwegmuseum" と "ミッフィー博物館 / Miffy Museum" へ行きました。
それらについては下記。

ミッフィー博物館は入館時間が予約制、人気がある美術館、博物館、展覧会は予約制であることが多くなったと感じます。
私達は、鉄道博物館の後、ミッフィー博物館へ歩いて行きました。
珍しく迷わずに到着できたので、予約時間までにまだ時間があり、カフェでランチを取りました。
ユトレヒトには素敵そうなカフェがたくさんあります。
この時はミッフィー博物館近くで評判が良い"KEEK"を選びました。
同じお店に日本人女性二人組がいて、彼女らもミッフィー博物館へゆく前に、そのカフェへ寄ったのです。
そして同じランチチセットを食べていました。
私達とは違う時間帯の予約のようでしたが、のちに、博物館で彼女らを見かけました。
彼女らと私の嗜好は似ているのかもしれません...日本人の思考が似ているのでしょうか？

Before the Museum
On 5th of August, I and my husband R entered the Netherlands and stayed in Utrecht for a week.
When I was in my 20s, I stopped by Amsterdam on a European tour hosted by Tama Art University.. (I felt 'stopped by')
However, I can only remember visiting Anne Frank House, visiting a diamond studio, and going on a 'Dinner Tour at a Chinese restaurant' arranged by F : our tour conductor, a gourmet.
The travel was to stay in '13 European cities and 8 countries in a Month' visiting museums, galleries or places with famous paintings.
This time, our trip to the Netherlands was based in Utrecht and we planned to go to Amsterdam and other places in day trips.
First of all, sightseeing in Utrecht.
We visited "Railway Museum / Het Spoorwegmuseum" and "Miffy Museum" which were within walking distance of our stay.

The Miffy Museum has to be booked, and I feel that nowadays booking way for most popular museums, galleries and exhibitions is needed more than before.
We walked to the Miffy Museum after the Railway Museum.
We unusually arrived without being lost, so there was still time before our booked time and so we had lunch in a cafe.
Utrecht has many lovely looking cafes.
At this time, I chose "KEEK" which has a good reputation, near the Miffy Museum.
There were two Japanese women in the same cafe, and they also popped into the cafe before going to the Miffy Museum.
And we had the same lunch set as them.
Their reservation looked like a different time from us, but later I saw them in the Museum.
Their tastes and my tastes may be similar ... are the thoughts of Japanese people similar?
B. 雰囲気 / Atmosphere

オシャレすぎず、野暮くもなく、居心地が良い雰囲気でした。
スタッフの方も親切でした。
It was not too fashionable, not unrefined and with a cozy atmosphere
The staff were also kind.

Rの食の問題にも対処してくれました。
大味に感じましたが手作り感があり、好印象を持ました。 They also dealt with R's food problems.
I felt it was bland, but there was a feeling of handmade
and I had a good impression.
Rも私もカフェ・ラテを注文しました。
Both R and I ordered a cafe latte.

D. ギャラリーとして / As a Gallery
カフェの壁に絵が飾られていることは多々あり、時々、販売していることもあります。
ここの壁にもポスターやプリントの作品が飾ってありました。
プリントの作品は販売していたようでした。

食べ物の断面の拡大図を元にしていました。
カフェにあっている作品群です。
I don't know if the prints are lithographic or etched.
They are based on enlarged cross section views of the food.

私は結構好きなプリントの作品群でした。
でも、自分の家には飾らないかな？
Rが玉ねぎが嫌いですし...(笑)。
I quite liked the group of print works.
But I don't display in our own house?
And R hates onions ... (Laugh).
2) Cafe Anne & Max
ミッフィー博物館を後にして、ユトレヒトの街を散策しつつ、中心地へ戻ってきました。
散策については次のセクションに載せます。
After leaving the Miffy Museum, we returned to the centre, wandering through the city of Utrecht.
The walk is described in the next section.

魅力的な建物
このカフェに惹かれたのですがとても混んでいたので入る決心ができませんでした。
うさこちゃん(ミッフィー)の創作者、ディック・ブルーナが
好きだったカフェだと後になって知りました。
このカフェの代わりに、隣の静かなカフェに入りました。
Attractive Building
I was charmed to this cafe but it was so crowded that I couldn't decide for entering.
Later, I knew that the attractive cafe was liked by Dick Bruna, the creator of Miffy.
Instead we entered a quiet cafe next door.

The quiet time may have been because it was near closing time (17:30).

おしゃれですね〜。

アルコールもコーヒーも数多くの選択があり、
パッケージもディスプレイもかっこいい系のおしゃれな感じにまとめられていました。
There were many choices for alcohol and coffee,
and the package and display were organized in a cool and stylish style.

店員さんも手慣れた感じでした。
でも、キッチンもフロアーもみなさん、早く終わりたい雰囲気で、お客には無関心な印象でした。
そう、決して悪い印象ではありませんが温かみは感じられなかったです。
これって、都会の接客かもしれませんね。

私達はとても喉が乾いていたので、カフェに入りました。
私は迷わず、ビールを注文。
Rはクロワッサンに魅せられてクロワッサンとカフェラテを注文しました。
ほとんどの食べ物は注文するには私達は遅すぎました。
We went into the cafe because we were very thirsty.
I ordered beer without hesitation.
R was enchanted by croissants and ordered a croissant and a cafe latte.
We were too late to order most food.

The staff were used to service.
However, the atmosphere of the staff in the kitchen and the cafe was that they wanted to finish as soon as possible, and they seemed indifferent to customers.
Yes, it was not a bad impression, but I could not feel warmth.
This may be urban service.
