オリエンタルビューティ/ Oriental Beauty がテーマで、
新作20点の展示です。

美人の公実子ちゃんにぴったりのテーマ！

描かれている女性は公実子ちゃんに似ています。

台湾に取材に行かれたそうです。

アジアの夏の湿気とエキゾチックな魅力が、会場にはありました。

美女達に誘惑されに、会場にいらしてください。

私は、彼女の'素敵な赤'が印象に残りました。

そうそう、小獣というのは、公実子ちゃんの描く小悪魔な美女達のことですよね？

公実子ちゃん: 今回は美女と小動物の組み合わせばかり描いたので、
                      その動物を私が造語で小獣と勝手にしたのでした。
                    「美女と野獣」のようにね。

coonie: そうでしたか.....。
            たしかに、小さい動物(鳥含め)がいますね.....。
          「美女と野獣」にかけているのは、わかっていたのですが、
            私が思ったより、ストレートでしたね。
            私、もっと素直にならなくちゃ！

There are 20 new pictures and the theme is 'Oriental Beauty'.

Kumiko Higami is a beautiful woman, so the theme just suits her!

The women in her pictures are similar to her. 

She collected new ideas for this exhibition in Taiwan. 

The Asian summer air is damp and has an alluring exotic atmosphere. 

Please visit the gallery to be tempted by her beautiful women. 

I was most impressed by her use of lovely reds. 

Oh Yes!

Her 'Small Beasts' are beautiful imps, aren't they?

Kumiko : I painted combinations of beautiful women and small 
             animals, so I called my small animals 'Small Beasts' 
             which comes from "Beauty and the Beast".

coonie: I see...., Indeed,.....there are small animals in the pictures. 
           I realized the exhibition title referred to "Beauty and the 
           Beast", although Kumiko means 'Small Beasts'  more 
           straightforwardly than I had thought. 
           I should be more obedient.
