1) 近況報告 / Updates
私とRは、鎌倉で仲良しの家族・Nファミリーをクリスマス・
パーティに招きました。
Yさん、Sさん、Mちゃんがいらしてくださいました。
次女のYちゃんは残念ながら欠席でした。
初めてYちゃんと会ったときは、彼女が小学校入学前で、まだ、
赤ちゃんの雰囲気が残っていました。
彼女のぷくぷくの小さな手を覚えています。
その子が大学のサークル関係で '欠席'なんて、なんという成長ぶりでしょう。
欠席は寂しかったですが、あらためて彼女の成長を感じて、嬉しい気持ちにもなりました。
Yさん、Sさん、Mちゃんは、お忙しい中、時間を作ってくださり、ありがとうございました。
それぞれの近況報告をしあい、お互いに理解を深めました。
Mちゃんは、大学院生、彼女は理系で忙しい日々のことでしょう。
今日、来られたことはラッキーだと思っています。
彼女が女の子から女性になってゆくのを会うたびに感じます。
Yさんは、嬉しくもあるでしょうが、お父さんとして、心配もましますね。
この日、彼は仕事のトラブルが起きたことがわかりました。
ですが、彼はより良い解決方法をみつけるでしょう。
Sさんは仕事も家庭も自分の時間も大切にしていると感じます。
彼女は、バランスの取り方が良く、いつも前向きに生きてらして、元気づけられます。
基本、私のブログでは、人の姿は載せないので、ここに参加者の姿は見られませんが、撮影した写真には、みな、楽しそうに写っています。
(ブログの最初に使用した写真は、よい具合にぼけているので使用しました）
Nファミリーとは、親戚にような気がしています。

Updates
R and I invited our close family, the N family, from Kamakura to a Christmas party.
Y San, S San, and M Chan came.
Unfortunately, second daughter, Y Chan couldn't come.
When I (we) first met Y Chan, she had not yet started primary school and still had the air of a toddler.
I remember her chubby little hands.
She was absent because of a university group, how she has grown.
I felt sad that she was absent, however, I was also happy to know how much she has grown.
Thank you to Y San, S San, and M Chan for taking the time out of your busy schedules.
We exchanged updates on our lives situations and were happy.
M Chan is a graduate student and is probably busy with her science studies.
I feel lucky that she was able to come today.
Every time I see her, I feel that she is gradually maturing from a girl into a lady.
I'm sure Y San is happy, but as her father, he must be concerned about her.
It turned out that he had some trouble at work that day.
However, I'm sure he will find a better solution.
I feel that S San values her work, family, and her own time.
She has a good way of balancing things and is always positive, which is very encouraging for me.
As a general rule, I don't post pictures of people on my blog, you won't see any participants here, but in the photographs I took, everyone looks like they're having fun.
(I used the photograph at the beginning of the blog because it was nicely blurred.)
I (we) feel the N family is like my (our) relatives.

| Nファミリーから きらびやかなラッピングです。 From N Family The wrapping is brilliant.  チョコレート！ ベースがそれぞれ違うチョコに、ナッツ類が載っています。 きっと美味しいに違いない！ Nファミリーからは、たびたび、いろいろなものを いただきますが、"食べ物(食品)" は、みんな美味しいです。 ありがとうございます！ Chocolate! 2) パーティ / Party
我が家でパーティといっても、食事会で、なにか余興を企画していたわけではありません。
今回だけでなく、'我が家でパーティ' というイベントは、お話しして、飲んで食べてのみです。
それだけでも、楽しいし、心も満たされます。

| 前菜 用意した前菜に、いただいたイチゴを加えました。 色合いが明るくなりよくなり、クリスマス感もましました。 Starter I added the strawberries we received to the appetizers I had prepared. it really gave this starter a Christmas feel. |
Party
When I say we had a party at our house, it was just a dinner party and we didn't have any entertainment planned.
Not just this time, but any 'party at my house' event is just about talking, drinking and eating.
Just that is fun and fulfilling.

| ロールキャベツのグラタン ロールキャベツを野菜ソースで煮込んで、グラタンにしました。 (見た目より味？<笑>) 人数が多いときは、オーブン料理は便利に感じます。 料理の作り手の私も、ゲストとともにいられます。 これは私の過去経験から得た方法です。 Cabbage Roll Gratin I stewed cabbage rolls in a vegetable sauce and made a gratin. (Taste is better than appearance? <Laugh>) I find oven cooking very convenient when there are many people. As the cook, I can also be with my guests. This is an approach I learned from my past experience. |

| ローストチキン ローストチキンは、私が撮影すると、グロテスクに写ります。 なので、野菜を使用して、彩りを加えます。 使用した野菜は、ベビーリーフ、ブロッコリー、ロマネスコ、 レモン、チェリートマト、ピーマン、 赤とオレンジのパプリカです。 Roast Chicken When I photograph roast chicken, it looks grotesque. So I use vegetables to add colours. | チーズ・パスタ・グラタン しめのお茶漬け、飲んだ後のラーメンのような役割としての パスタ料理です。 私は料理を作りすぎる傾向にあるので、最近は気をつけています。 でも、ローストチキンの後に、炭水化物系の料理を！ という思いに勝てませんでした(笑)。 デザートに、果物またはアイスクリームを食べたかもしれません が、記憶にありません。(飲み過ぎ？） 写真撮影もしていませんでした。 Cheese Pasta Gratin I have a tendency to cook too much, so I've been trying to be careful recently. However, I couldn't stop to my worrying that guests did not feel full after the roast chicken, so I made this. We might have had fruit or ice cream for dessert, but I don't remember. (Did I drink too much?) I didn't take any photograph. |
Nファミリーとひさしぶりにともに過ごせて、嬉しかったです。
楽しいひとときをありがとうございました。
It was nice to be able to spend time with the N family again after such a long time.
Thank you for the fun time.
