1) 新潟県から / Niigata Prefecture
11月1日、大きな梨が新潟県のT家から届きました。
T家は、代々、梨園を営んでいます。
私がイラストレイターであった時に、農業体験のツアーに参加し、私がお世話になった農家がT家でした。
例年年末には洋梨を送っていただき、私が日本にいるときは、季節にあわせた梨を送っていただきます。
いつもありがとうございます。

Niigata Prefecture
On November 1st, a box or large pears arrived from the T Family in Niigata Prefecture.
The T Family has been running pear orchards for generations.
When I was an illustrator, I participated in a farming experience tour and the T Family was the farmer who looked after me.
They usually send me pears at the end of the year, and when I'm in Japan, they send me pears that are in season.

| 北海道の友人、Izuから、ビスケットの詰め合わせが届きました。 Biscuit Assortment A biscuit Assortment was sent to me from my friend Izu in Hokkaido.  |
Izuとは英国留学の初期、英語学校で知り合いました。
彼女が、先に彼女の地元の北海道へ帰り、私は英国留学のため英国に残っても交際を続け、私が留学を終了し、鎌倉で住み始めた後も、交際を続けています。
今年(2022年)は、久しぶりに会うことができ、京都の美山や神戸で一緒に過ごしました。

I met Izu at an English school early on in my studies in the UK.
We have stayed in touch even after she returned to her hometown of Hokkaido and I stayed behind in the UK to study, and we have stayed in touch even after I finished studying abroad and started living in Kamakura.
This year (2022), we were able to meet for the first time in a long time, and spent time together in Miyama, Kyoto and Kobe.

11月3日、夫Rが英国から日本へ戻ってきました。
私は、東京で友人のグループ展を見た後に、羽田空港へRを迎えに行きました。

2022年11月3日 ギャラリーTEN - 東京 / Gallery TEN in Tokyo, ...大きな梨、ゴールデングリーンの野菜、ビスケットの詰め合わせは、Rの帰宅にあわせて、届けられたのです。

R's Return
On 3rd of November, my husband R returned to Japan from the UK.
After seeing a friend's group exhibition in Tokyo, I went to pick him up at Haneda Airport.
About the group exhibition, below.
The big pears, Golden Green's vegetables and biscuits were delivered just in time for R's return.
