1) 英語学校の友人 / English School Friends

私は神戸の友人Sさんのグループ展開催に合わせて鎌倉から神戸に来ていました。

昨日は、その展覧会に行き、Sさんにも会えました。

この日は、私は大阪在住の友人Mと札幌在住の友人Izuと新大阪駅で会いました。

私達はウィンブルドンの英語学校で出会い、友人になりました。

現在、私達は日本に住んでいますが、年も住む環境も仕事も違います。

3人一緒にで会うのは、とても久しぶりで、3 人で旅行に出かけるのは、初めてでした。

Mが自分の車を出してくれて、Izuと私を最初に出雲大神宮 : ★とへ連れて行ってくれました。

出雲大神宮は、京都府亀岡市にあります。

私は、初めて訪れた土地です。

English School Friends

I came to Kobe from Kamakura for a group exhibition held by my friend S San in Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture.

Yesterday, I went to the exhibition and met S San.

On this day, I met my friend M, who lives in Osaka, and Izu, who lives in Sapporo Hokkaido, at Shin-Osaka Station.

We met at an English school in Wimbledon, London and became friends.

We are currently living in Japan, but our ages, living environments, and works are different.

It's been a long time since the three of us met together, and this was the first time the three of us went on a trip together.

M drove her car and took us to Izumo Daijingū Shrine first.

The Shrine is located in Kameoka in Kyoto Prefecture.

This was the first time I visited this area.

Izu (左) とM (右)
ナビをIzuがナビ、Mが運転をしてくれました。
私は二人に甘えて、おしゃべりと景色を楽しみました。
ありがとう!

Izu was the navigator and M was the driver.
I was spoiled by them and enjoyed chatting
and enjoying the scenery.

大きな柿の木
亀岡に到着しました。
出雲大神宮の駐車場から撮影しました。

出雲大神宮は、里山の中にあるのでしょうか？

Haze or Clouds
Is Izumo Daijingū Shrine in Satoyama?
According to Wiki about Satoyama,
"Satoyama (里山) is a Japanese term applied to
the border zone or area between mountain foothills 
and arable flat land.
Literally, sato (里) means village,
and yama (山) means hill or mountain."

MとMの車
Mが好きそうな色の車です。
私も似た色の自転車を持っていました。
'シュガー・ブルー'と呼ばれる色です。
今ではその自転車は、夫Rのものです。

M and M's Car

M probably likes this colour.

I also had a similar colour bicycle.

The colour is called 'Sugar Blue'.

That bicycle now belongs to my husband R.

天気は雨で、ちょっと残念です。

ですが、緑や花は綺麗でした。

The weather was rainy, which was a bit disappointing.

However, the green and flowers were beautiful.

コスモス
ピンクのコスモスはよく見かけますが、
黄色のコスモスは、私はあまり見ません。

I often see pink cosmos, but I rarely see yellow cosmos.

私はこの植物を初めて見ました。

出雲大神宮
'千年宮鳥居' (センネンノミヤトリイ) です。
2014年に社殿創建1305年遠迎え、 '社殿創建1305年記念事業'
として、'千年宮鳥居' が建立されました。

Izumo Daijingū Shrine
This is 'Sennen no Miya Torii Gate' :
 'Thousand Year ShrineTorii Gate'. 
In 2014, the 1305th anniversary of the construction of the shrine was celebrated, and the 'Millennium Miya Torii' was erected as a 'commemorative project for the 1305th anniversary of the construction of the shrine'.
