1) 家族ぐるみ / Whole Family
私は随分前に、神戸に住んでいました。
そのときに '貴味蛸'さん一家と知り合い、楽しい時を一緒に過ごしました。
私が辛かったときに、精神的にも具体的にもこの家族に助けていただきました。
出会ったときは幼かった息子くんたち、Jちゃん、Tちゃんも、現在は、成人して、頼もしい限りです。
私が英国留学を終えた後、東京で初めて開催した個展に家族でやって来てくれました。
現在も私が個展を開催する際には、DMをお店に置いて下さっています。
私が神戸を訪ねるときは、自宅に泊めていただくことも何回かありました。
夫Rが一人で関西旅行をした時に彼の案内もしてくれ、食事もいっしょにとっていただきました。
いろいろ、いろいろ、ありがとうございます。
2010年、2017年の関西旅行の際にも、"貴味蛸" さんを訪ねています(下記)。

| '貴味蛸' 〒662-0051 兵庫県西宮市羽衣町7-38 夙川7番街 ストークマンション 1F 明石焼 (アカシヤキ) という玉子焼が食べられます。 'Kimitako' Shukugawa 7th Avenue Stoke Mansion 1F 7-38 Hagoromocho, Nishinomiya City, Hyōgo Prefecture 〒 662-0051 You can eat tamagoyaki called Akashiyaki. According to Wiki about Akashiyaki, "Akashiyaki is a small round dumpling from the city of Akashi in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. The dumpling is made of an egg-rich batter and octopus dipped into dashi (a thin fish broth) before eating." |
Whole Family
After checking in at the hotel, I headed to 'Kimitako' in Shukugawa, Nishinomiya City.
I lived in Kobe a long time ago.
At that time, I got to know the 'Kimitako' family, and we had great times together.
When I had a hard time, this family helped me mentally and concretely.
Their sons, J Chan and T Chan, who were young when I met them, are now adults and reliable.
After I finished studying in Britain, the family came to my first exhibition in Tokyo.
Even now, when I hold my exhibitions, they put my invitation-cards in their shop.
On several occasions when I visited Kobe, they have let me stay in their home.
When my husband, R, travelled to Kansai alone, they guided him and ate dinner with him.
Thank you very much.

2) Rie さんと / With Rie
友人のデザイナーRieさんは、大阪に住んでいます。
私がイラストレイターをしていた時から、彼女にはお世話になっています。
今はなくなってしまいましたが、私のHPのデザインも彼女がしてくれていました。
このブログを始める時にも、彼女にしてもらいました。
個展のDMや、私の作品のポストカードは、すべて彼女にデザインしてもらっています。
いつか彼女と'貴味蛸'さんで食事をしたいと思っていました。
この日、Rieさんが大阪から、夙川の貴味蛸'さんまで来てくれたので、一緒に夕飯をとることができました。
久しぶりに直接おしゃべりができ、Rieさんの乗馬姿も動画で拝見でき、嬉しかったです。
Rieさん、ありがとうございました。
また、お会いする日を楽しみにしています。

With Rie
One of my friends, Rie a designer, lives in Osaka.
I have been indebted to her since I was an illustrator.
My HP was designed by her, although now it has disappeared.
When I started this blog, she helped.
Moreover, she has designed all my exhibition invitation-cards and the postcards of my works.
I had hoped that someday I would like to have a meal with her in 'Kimitako'.
On this day, Rie came from Osaka to 'Kimitako' in Shukugawa, so I was able to have dinner with her.
I was happy to be able to talk directly with Rie for the first time in a long time, and to see a video of Rie riding a horse.

3) 成長 / Growth
長男のJちゃんがお店を手伝っています。
(手伝う存在というよりも、すでにそれ以上の力になっています)
ランチときは、彼一人でやっていると聞きました。
父親の背中を見つつ、こつこつと努力をし続け、もくもくと仕事をしてきた姿が想像できます。
赤ちゃんの時から知っているので、その成長をみることができ、嬉しい驚きを感じました。
次男のTちゃんは、職場から直接お店に会いに来てくれました。
同じ席で一緒に食事をし、おしゃべりしました。
幼い頃から、話し上手なTちゃんは、場の雰囲気を明るくします。
二人ともどうもありがとう！

Growth
Their eldest son, J Chan helps out in the restaurant.
(Rather than being a helping hand, he has already become more powerful than that.)
I heard he manages the restaurant by himself at lunch time.
I can imagine how he worked steadily, keeping an eye on his father's back and working hard.
I've known him since he was a baby, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how he has grown.
Their second son, T Chan, came to see me (us) directly from his work.
We ate and chatted together at the same table.
From an infant, T Chan has been a good talker and brightens up the atmosphere of the place.

4) 食事 / Meal
貴味蛸のお料理は、どれも好きです。
メニューにある品を全部食べたいけれど、大食いの私にもそれはできません。
なので、いつも選択を楽しく悩みます。

Meal
I love all of the Kimitako dishes.
I want to eat everything on the menu, however, even though I'm a big eater I couldn't.
So I always enjoy worrying about choosing.

| 水餃子 焼餃子か水餃子のどちらかで迷って水餃子にしました。 Boiled Gyoza I couldn't decide between Fried Gyoza (dumpling) or Boiled Gyoza, but I chose Boiled Gyoza. |

薄餅 (パオピン) も大好きですが、今回は食べきれないように思い、注文しませんでした。
I also love Paopin, but I didn't order it this time because I thought I wouldn't be able to eat it all.

最後に、Rieさん含め、みんなで記念写真を撮りました。
久しぶりの一緒の写真、嬉しかったです。
