1) 山北町へ / To Yamakita
住む友人カップル：Arico & Mark を訪ねるために、出かけました。
彼らの家に泊めていただく、1泊2日の旅行です。
鎌倉駅から電車を乗り継いで、彼らの最寄りの駅へ行きました。
その駅から、Aricoさんの車で彼女らの家へ送ってもらいました。
(タンザワオオヤマコクテイコウエン) に指定されています。
"森林セラピー基地"というものを初めて知りました。
"森林セラピー基地（しんりんセラピーきち）は、既に定着していた「アロマセラピー」に準じて林野庁長官によって作られた造語で、2005年に林野庁が発表した森林セラピー基地構想に基づき2006年から具体化された「科学的エビデンスに持ち，予防医学的効果を目指す森林浴」が行える場所。
実施のための団体として特定非営利活動法人森林セラピーソサエティが設立され、癒し効果が科学的に評価された「森林浴効果」（＝森林セラピー）があると認定された森林やウォーキングロードを持つ地域のことである。
現在57の地域が認定されている。"

To Yamakita
My husband R and I went out to visit our friend couple called
Arico & Mark, who live in Yamakita-kishi, Ashigarakami District, Kanagawa Prefecture.
It was a two-day, one-night trip where we stayed in their house.
We took trains from Kamakura Station to the station closest to them.
From the station, Arico drove us to their house.
Yamakita borders Yamanashi Prefecture and Shizuoka Prefecture.
Much of the town is within the boundaries of the Tanzawa-Ōyama Quasi-National Park.
Lake Tanzawa ; artificial lake is located almost in the centre of the town.
The town has been certified as a "Forest Therapy Base".
This is the first time I've heard of a "Forest Therapy Base".
From the Japanese Wiki about Forest Therapy Base,

" 'Forest Therapy Base' is a term coined by the Director-General of the Forestry Agency in accordance with the already established term 'aromatherapy'.
It is a place where you can take part in 'forest bathing with scientific evidence and the aim of preventive medical effects', which was realized in 2006 based on the Forest Therapy Base Concept announced by the Forestry Agency in 2005.
The Forest Therapy Society, a non-profit organization, was established to implement this, and it refers to areas with forests and walking paths that have been scientifically evaluated for their healing effects (Forest Therapy ; Forest Bath ; Shinrin-yoku).
Currently, 57 areas have been certified. "

| 広い庭 庭は、敷地を囲む丘と一体になっています。 この土地ならではのあり方と広さだと感じます。 すごいです！  Large Garden The garden blends in with the hills that surround the site. I think this is a unique feature of this location and it has a sense of spaciousness. It is gorgeous!  |
鳥の声が聞こえます。

鳥の声も聞こえますが、最後の方でRの声も予定外に
入ってしまいました。

りっぱな家のお隣には、蔵があります。
蔵 (クラ) は、Aricoさんの工房 "Ari’s Art Works" です。
蔵は1952年(昭和27)に建てられました。
蔵はリノベーションされて、彼女の仕事場になりました。
蔵の様子は、"YouTube : あっぱれ！KANAGAWA大行進 : ★ " の19:00~ で見ることができます。
Kura
There is a storehouse : Kura, next to the beautiful house.
The storehouse is Arico's workshop, "Ari's Art Works."
The storehouse was built in 1952.
The storehouse has been renovated and turned into her workspace.
You can see what the storehouse looks like on "YouTube: Bravo! Kanagawa Parade : ★ from 19:00~".

| 天井 棟木 (ムナギ)に、建造年：昭和二十七年と 蔵を建てた大工さんの名前が書かれています。 Ceiling The ridgepole has the year of construction : '昭和二十七年' (1952) and the name of the carpenter who built the storehouse inscribed on it. |
C. 大きな窯 / Big Kiln

| 大きな窯 (正面) 窯は、燃料は灯油で、4つのモーターで作動します。 私が持っている電気窯が赤ちゃんがに思えます。 Big Kiln (Front) The kiln is fuelled by kerosene and is powered by four motors. I feel my electric kilns look like babies.  側面 / Side |
この大きな窯は、彼女にとって、最も大切な1つで、この窯を中心に、蔵の仕事場もりっぱな家も、広い庭もあるのだと思います。
I think that this large kiln is one of the most important things to her, and I feel that her workshop in the storehouse, the fine house, and the spacious garden are all centred around this kiln.
