この日から、金沢旅行。
出かける前に、初めての抗原検査をしました。
少し緊張...。
「ゆっくり、ゆっくり、慎重に」
そう自分に言い聞かせつつ検査をすませました。

| 金沢に住む友人Sちゃんの夫SIさんは、 コロナワクチンの研究者です。 Sちゃんに会う前に抗原検査をするように要求されました。 8日から毎朝、彼女に会う前に検査をしました。 My friend S Chan lives in Kanazawa. Her husband, SY San is a corona vaccine researcher. I was requested to do an antigen test before meeting S Chan. Every morning from the 8th I tested before seeing her. |
Antigen Self Test
From this day, travel to Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture.
Before going out, I did my first antigen test.
A little nervous...
"Slowly, slowly, carefully"
I finished the inspection while telling myself so.

2) 金沢 / Kanazawa
金沢には個人旅行、ツアーで複数回行ったことがありました。
個人旅行では、今回と同様、新幹線を使いました。
帰りは小松飛行場を利用しました。
初めて金沢に旅行したのは、神戸に住んでいた時で、Sちゃんと一緒にゆきました。
Sちゃんは、彼女が望んで金沢に住むことになったわけではありませんが、彼女はとても金沢が気に入っているようです。
私も金沢が好きです。

Kanazawa
Kanazawa City is the prefectural capital of Ishikawa Prefecture.
From Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture I headed to Tokyo Station and took the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Kanazawa Station.
I have been to Kanazawa several times on personal trips and a tour.
On my personal trips, I used the Shinkansen as I did this time.
Since the tour was a tour of the Noto Peninsula, we used air routes, going to Noto Airport and returning from Komatsu Airport.
The first time I traveled to Kanazawa was when I was living in Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture and I went with S Chan.
S Chan didn't plan on living in Kanazawa, but she seems to like Kanazawa very much.
I also like Kanazawa.

A. 待ち合わせ場所 / Meeting Place
今回、地元の人が、金沢21世紀美術館のことを21ビ(ニジュウイチビ)と呼ぶことをしりました。
21ビは、私が好きな美術館の1つです。
2018年にこの美術館を訪れていました (下記)。
Sちゃんの職場がここから近いので、この美術館で彼女と待ち合わせをしました。
また、今回の金沢旅行のきっかけとなり、目標でもあったオラファー・エリアソン / Olafur Eliasson 展もここで開催されていました。
(後になって知るのですが、'展' というほどの規模ではありませんでした）
オラファー・エリアソン (1967 -) は、デンマーク生まれの
アイスランド共和国のアーティストです。
オラファー・エリアソンについては次のセクションに載せます。

Meeting Place
After arriving at Kanazawa Station, I immediately took a bus to 'the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa' : ★.
This time, I found that the locals call 'the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa', 21bi (nijuuichi-bi).
21bi is one of my favourite Art Museums.
I visited this Art Museum in 2018, below.
S Chan's workplace is near here, so I met her in this museum.
Also, Olafur Eliasson Exhibition was held here, which was the trigger and purpose of this trip to Kanazawa.
(As I found later, it was not so large as an 'exhibition'.)
Olafur Eliasson will appear in the next section.

D. 施設 / Facilities
下記、コンセプトのサイトから引用。
"透明性＝出会いと開放感の演出
外壁や建物内の壁面の多くにガラスを採用し、「透明であること、明るいこと、開放的であること」を求めました。
同時に、内部と外部など互いに異なる空間にいる者同士が互いの
様子や気配を感じ取ることができる、出会いの感覚も演出されています。"
現地では、これらのことがストレートに感じられます。

According to their site about Concept,
"Transparency = Producing Openness
The use of glass walls, inside and out, produces transparency and brightness. It also enhances a sense of encounter, an awareness of each other's presence, and unity among the visitors, whether they are at inside or outside of the building."
Indeed, here I too felt like this.

| ミュージアムショップ Sちゃんとは、ショップで待ち合わせをしました。 開催中の展覧会は、彼女と一緒に回りました。 Museum Shops I met S Chan at the shop. I went around the current exhibitions with her.  写真左、屋外の作品は、"ラッピング"です。 "ラッピング"とショップの設置もコンセプトに 沿っているのだと理解しました。 The outdoor work on the left of the photograph is "Wrapping". I understand that "Wrapping" and setting up the shop are also in line with the concept.  |
