クリスマス・ローズ
地植えのクリスマスローズに花が咲いてびっくりしました。
私にとって、クリスマスリーズは春から夏の花です。
庭にはいくつかクリスマスローズがあり、
いつどこが咲くのか楽しみです。

Hellebore : Christmas Rose

I was surprised to see the flowers blooming

 on the ground-planted Hellebore : Christmas Rose.

For me, Christmas Rose is a flower from spring to summer.

There are some Christmas roses in our garden and

 I'm looking forward to when and where they will bloom.

実は花に見えるのは萼 (ガク) ですが、一般的には
花と呼んでいると思います。

Actually, what looks like a flower is a calyx, 

but I think that it is generally called a flower.

2) お隣の梅 

    Ume : Japanese Plum Next-door 

お隣の梅 がちらほら咲き出しているのは気がついていました。

今日、随分と花を咲かせ、多くの蕾も膨らんでいて驚きました。

クリスマスローズに驚き、梅に驚き、春の到来、又は、気配に驚かされています。

春はもうすぐ！

Ume: Japanese Plum Next-door 

I noticed that Ume : Japanese Plum next-door were blooming here and there.

Today, I was surprised to see many flowers blooming and many buds swelling.

I am surprised by the Christmas rose, I am surprised by the plum blossoms, and I am surprised by the arrival or signs of spring.

Spring is Just Around the Corner!

紅梅
紅白両方の梅が咲いている庭を見るのは、今のところ、
お隣と大町 (鎌倉市) のリトグラフ工房です。

Koubai : Red Plum
So far, I can see both red and white plums in bloom
 next- door and in the lithograph studio garden
in Ōmachi, Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture.
