A.うさこちゃんとうみ / Miffiy at the Seaside

私と夫Rは、ユトレヒトの"ミッフィー博物館 / Miffy Museum"へ行きました。

前回のセクションに引き続き、ミッフィー博物館について書きます。

このセクションでは、ミッフィーの創作者、 ディック・ブルーナ (1927 – 2017) の海と森の世界に少し触れてみました。

ミッフィー (うさこちゃん)  / Miffy は、1955年にブルーナ が、
エグモンドアーンジー / Egmond aan Zee での休暇中に砂浜で見た小さなウサギがモデルになっています。

ミッフィーが海にゆく話は、『うさこちゃんとうみ / miffiy at the seaside』(下の画像) の中にあります。(ストーリーはここで→★)

下記、福音館書店サイトより

"うさこちゃんのもともとの名前は、オランダ語で「ナインチェ」といいます。

「ナインチェ」はうさちゃんといった意味です。

日本語訳では、「ナインチェ」という音の響きとその意味から、

石井桃子さんが「うさこちゃん」と名付けました。"

Miffiy at the Seaside

I and my husband R visited "Miffy Museum / Het Spoorwegmuseum" in Utrecht.

Continuing from the previous section, about the Miffy Museum.

In this section, we took a brief look at the ocean and forest world of Miffy's creator, Dick Bruna (1927 – 2017).

Miffy is a based on a little rabbit seen on the sand dunes by Bruna in his 1955 holiday at Egmond aan Zee.

The story of Miffy going to the sea is in "miffy at the seaside", below.

B. エグモンドアーンジー/ Egmond aan Zee

オランダには12の州 / provinces があります。

また、355の基礎自治体（ヘメーンテ/ Gemeente)と3つの特別な自治体（bijzondere gemeenten）があります。

[特別な自治体 : カリブ海にあるオランダ領の島々；サバ、シント・ユースタティウス、ボネール]

オランダの首都、アムステルダム (地図 : ☆印)は、北ホラント州 (地図 ;  黄色部分 ) の基礎自治体にあります。

その北ホラント州のベルゲン市 / Bergen の北海沿岸の村が、エグモンドアーンジー / Egmond aan Zeeです。

エグモンドアーンジーは、20世紀の初めから、健康で澄んだ海の空気で有名で、人気のある海辺のリゾート地です。

ブルーナもそのリゾート地で夏の休暇を楽しんでいたのすね。

ミッフィーのモデルのうさぎもそこにいたわけです。

Egmond aan Zee

There are twelve provinces of the Netherlands . 

And also there are 355 municipalities (Gemeenten) + 3 special municipalities (bijzondere gemeenten) .

[Bijzondere Gemeenten : Caribbean Netherlands ; the islands of Saba, Sint Eustatius and SabaBonaire]

Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands (map: ☆), is located in North Holland
(above, Yellow Part ).

Egmond aan Zee is a village on the North Sea coast of Bergen, North Holland .

Bruna enjoyed his summer vacation at the resort, didn't he?

The rabbit which was the inspiration for Miffy was seem there.

Sandy Beach

Miffy was created in 1955 after Bruna had been telling his one-year-old son,

Sierk, stories about a little rabbit they had seen earlier in the sand dunes,

while on holiday at Egmond aan Zee.

ブルーナ・カラー(赤、青、黄色、緑)の他の色を使用しています。
少し複雑な色 (中間色) が見られます。

He used other colours than 'Bruna Colours' (red, blue, yellow, green).
We can see the colours are softer and less bright.

休憩所 / Rest Area

壁面いっぱいに森が描かれ、その中に七人の小人(ドワーフ)がいます。
A forest is drawn on the whole wall, and there are seven dwarfs in it.

こちらの森には赤ずきんちゃんがいます。
舞台に立っているようですね。

There is Little Red Riding Hood in this forest.
She seems to be on stage.

ここでは飲食ができます。
でも子供に限ってなのかもしれません。

Little tree next to Little Red Riding Hood.
Here you can eat and drink.
But it may be limited to children.

ベンチ下にはハリネズミの家族がいます。
この場所にハリネズミを見つけた時は宝物を見つけたように嬉しかった！

There is a hedgehog family under the bench.
When I spotted the hedgehogs here, I was as happy as if I had found treasure!

白雪姫 / Snow White

Rは彼らと一緒になって記念撮影をしました。

りんごの木
入り口付近にりんごの木がありました。
なにか仕掛けがあったのですが忘れてしまった！
ベビーカーも貸し出されているようでした。
ここにベビーカーを置いて行くこともできます。
あっ！床に1つりんごの絵が描かれています。
これは『りんごぼうや』の話からですね、きっと。

Apple Tree

There is an apple tree near the entrance.

There was some kind of feature, but I forgot!

Pushchairs seemed to be rented out.
You can also leave a pushchair here.

Ah! A picture of an apple is drawn on the floor.

This is from the story of "Apple Boy / De apple", surely.

ブルーナは、何かしら新しいものを求めて、森のシリーズ?を作ったように思います。

いつも同じことばかりしていると淀んでしまうからだと私は思います。

私はうさこちゃんの絵本を全作読んでいるわけでもないし、比べてもいないので、ディテールはわかりませんが、ブルーナは何かしら新しいことをいつも試していたのではないかと思います。

次のセクションもミッフィー博物館です。

Bruna seemed to have created a "forest series (?)" in search of something new.

I think it's because if you always do the same thing, you become stale.

I haven't read all of Miffy's picture books and haven't compared them, so I don't know the details, but I guess Bruna was always trying something new.

The next section is also about the Miffy Museum.
