"県立養老渓谷奥清澄自然公園"に指定されています。
現在の「養老」という字が当てられたのは江戸時代以降で、それ以前は「用路川」や「勇露川」という字が、さらに以前には「与保呂」が当てられていた。"
In Chiba Prefecture, Yōrō Keikoku, a valley is formed by the Yōrō River which passes through Ōtaki and Ichihara, and its surrounding was designated "Kenritsu Yōrō Keikoku Okukiyosumi shizen kōen" in 1935.

私達の散策コース
釣堀近くの駐車場から共栄橋を渡る →中瀬遊歩道(中央の赤点線)を歩く→ 観音橋地点で終了

Rが母の世話をすると言ってくれたので、
姉と私で散策に参加することができました。 母とRは駐車場周辺で私達を待っていました。 R、ありがとう！ (実は彼は、この時あまり体調がよくなかったのでした) Our Tour Walking We walked along the river, mainly on the 'Nakase Pavement',

| "弘文洞跡 (コウブンドウアト)" ハッ！と惹かれる景色で撮影しました。 弘文洞跡 (コウブンドウアト)の説明の看板(下)を見つけ、 以前は隧道( ズイドウ/トンネル)になっていたと知りました。 ここは昔からの観光スポットだったのです。(上の拡大地図中央) 1979年に上部が落下して今の状態になりました。 以前は隧道の景色はここで見られます→★ "Koubundo-ato" ; Koubundou-Mark Wow! Suddenly the view caught me, and I photographed. I found the explanation board (below) and I knew that there used to be a tunnel before. It has long been a tourist spot. In 1979, the top fell and now like this. You can see a view before the fall →★  説明の看板 / Explanation Board  弘文洞跡は養老川支流の夕木川 (ユウキガワ/ または蕪来川 / カブライガワ)
と養老川本流の合流地点。
もとは"亀岩の洞窟"同様に、'川廻し'がされた場所でした。
"Koubundoato"
is the junction between a tributary river,
Yuki River (or
Kaburai River) and the main Yōrō River.
This
area was "Kawamawashi" ; river conservation,
like "Kameiwa Cave".

| 赤い橋は、観音橋 (カンノンバシ) 観音橋(上の拡大地図左上)のあたりが、私達のゴール地点。 待ってくれていたRとそこで会いました。 The red bridge is Kannon Bridge. Around the bridge was our goal. We met R who waited for us. |
2) "粟又の滝" / "Awamata Waterfall"

| 正式名が、"高滝"で、通称として "養老の滝"や"粟又の滝"があります。 The formal name is "Taka Fall", nicknames are "Yoro Fall" and "Awamata Fall". |
"高滝(タカタキ)"または"養老の滝"または"粟又の滝"は、千葉県夷隅郡(イスミグン)大多喜町( オオタキチョウ)にあり、養老川上流にあります。
駐車場から滝までは、距離なら200mですが、かなりの階段数を上り下りしなければなりませんでした。
母は、今までで、二箇所の散策コースに参加できなかったので、ここでは気合を入れて滝を見に行きました。
母は強し！
そして母はやり遂げました。

"Taka Falls" (or "Awamata Falls" or "Yoko Falls") are in Ōtaki town, Isumi District ,Chiba Prefecture, and the upper Yōrō River.
I heard "Taka Falls" are most popular tourist site in Yōrō Keikoku, that is known as the first famous Great Fall in Chiba Prefecture.
After our walking in Yōrō Keikoku, we moved to a carpark close to the Falls by our coach.
It is 200m distance from the carpark to the falls, although it includes many steps, up and down.
So far, our mother just waited for us during two walking courses, so now she decided she would visit these falls with her enthusiasm.
Our mother is strong!
She achieved her desire!

| "高滝(タカタキ)"または"養老の滝"または"粟又の滝"
全長約100m、落差約30m、幅約30mメートル。
流れは穏やかです。
日光の名瀑は、荘厳さを感じますが、この滝は
日本舞踊を眺めているような、楽しみがあるように思います。

I think Great Falls in Nikko gave us splendor,
though "Taka Falls" is enjoyable like
