ずいぶん前から、母が家族旅行を熱望していました。
家族といっても、それぞれが独立し、それぞれが違う仕事につき、異なる場所に住み、もちろん、性格も違います。
なので、母が望むような家族旅行は無理な状態です。
ですが、2016年初夏に、母が骨折をし、以前よりも行動範囲が限られるようになってしまったので、まだ動ける今、母の理想とは違っていても、私達ができる限りの旅行をしようと思いました。
参加者は、母、姉、私と夫のRです。
母は、孫達とも行きたかったのでしょうけれど....。
To Chiba Prefecture
My mother had desired having a family trip for a long time.
Even I say a family, each of us has been independent, different work, separate living and of course, distinct personalities.
Therefore it is impossible to have a family trip which my mother has expected.
However, she had broken a bone in early summer in 2016, her ability has become limited, we thought while our mother can get around, even though a trip is different from our mother's desire, we would have a trip as much as we could.
We selected the tour where we could depart from a place which was close to the mother's house, and we would stay one night in a spa, Katsuura in Chiba Prefecture.
The participants were our mother, my sister, me and my husband, R, though our mother would go with her grandsons, too.

| 人工島の "海ほたるパーキングエリア" "海ほたるパーイングエリア"は、'東京湾アクアライン'にあります。 '東京湾アクアライン' は、神奈川県川崎市から東京湾を 横断して千葉県木更津市へ至る高速道路。 川崎市から '海ほたるパーイングエリア' はトンネル (写真左）で '海ほたるパーイングエリア' から木更津市へは橋 (写真右)に なっています。 名前の由来は '海上に浮かぶ光' ということで "海ほたる /ウミホタル"。 "Umihotaru Parking Area ": "Umihotaru" An artificial island, "Umihotaru" is on 'Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line' (a motorway) which is a bridge–tunnel combination across Tokyo Bay in Japan, it connects the city of Kawasaki in Kanagawa Prefecture with the city of Kisarazu in Chiba Prefecture. There is a tunnel section from Kawasaki to Umihotaru (above, left) and a bridge section is from Umihotaru to Kisarazu (above, right).
