ホテル矢太樓 は、'世界新三大夜景'に指定された"長崎市の夜景"を見る眺望台があります。

世界新三大夜景については下記、ウィキペディアより

"日本の一般社団法人・夜景観光コンベンションビューローが、同法人が認定を行っている夜景鑑定士3500人へのアンケートを元に、2012年10月に長崎市で行われた「夜景サミット2012 in 長崎」において、長崎・香港・モナコを「世界新三大夜景」と認定し、日本国外においては香港メディアがその様子を伝えた"

修学旅行にもよく使われてるホテルのようでした。

私達もツアーで宿泊しているので、同じようなものです。

でも、もしも個人旅行なら、このホテルは避けるような気がします。

蛇足ながら、'日本三大夜景'の場合は、"稲佐山から望む"、長崎県長崎市の夜景です。

Night Views 

Hotel Yatarou has great nighttime views, "Nagasaki City" is one of the 'New Three Major Night Views of the World'. (Other two are Monaco and Hong Kong)

The hotel seems to often be used by school trips.

We stayed here as part of a tour, so we were similar to the school trips.

However, if I have my own trip, I might avoid this hotel. 

By the way, in the case of 'Three Major Night Views of Japan' they say look at Nagasaki City at night "from Mount Inasa".

女神大橋
2005年に開通された女神大橋は長崎港の入り口にかかっています。
長崎港には大型客船が入港するので、水面から非常に高い場所に位置しています。
長さ: 1,289m / 高さ:170m
塔から吊った形の斜張橋 (シャチョウバシ) です→★。

Megami-bashi : Goddess Bridge
It was opened in 2005, crossing above the entrance to Nagasaki Port. 
The bridge is very high above sea level, 
because large passenger ships pass under to reach Nagasaki Port.
Length : 1,289m / Height : 170m
It looks like a suspension bridge, although it is a cable-stayed bridge.

橋の存在があって、'世界新三大夜景' に選ばれたと思います。

There is the bridge, so I can see why here was selected as one of
 the 'New Three Major Night Views of the World'.

船のライト /  Boat's Lights

2) 龍踊り(ジャオドリ) / Ja-odori : Dragon Dance

龍踊り(ジャオドリ)
ホテルの従業員の方々が見せてくれています。龍踊りは、数千年前に中国で雨乞いの儀式として行われたと言われています。
玉が太陽や月を表し、龍が玉を飲むことによって空が暗転し、雨雲を呼び、
雨を降らすと信じられていました。(います？）

長崎では、諏訪神社の秋季大祭である'長崎くんち'で、
奉納される民俗芸能(郷土芸能)です。
龍踊り含めた祭りは、重要無形民俗文化財になっています。
それをホテルのサービスで縮小簡略版ではありますが
見せてくださっているのですね。

Ja-odori : Dragon Dance
The hotel staff play in the show.
They say originally Dragon Dance was a ritual dance to bring rain 
a few thousands years ago in China.
People believe that a ball represents the sun or the moon which a dragon swallows 
so that the sky is changed to dark, rain clouds come and then it rains.

In Nagasaki, nowadays when Suwa Shrine has
 their autumn festival : Nagasaki Kunchi (★), Dragon Dance 
dedicated to the Shrine as well as being folk art.
The Festival including the Dragon Dance is 

included in a list of Important Intangible Folk Cultural Properties. 

Here the staff show it even though this is scaled-down and informal.

I love dragons so I was pleased. Thank you very much!

3) 食事 / Meals

10月26日、夕飯
'アワビの踊り焼き'はちょっとグロテスクですし、R は貝類は食べられません。
私はRの分まで、食べました！
Rの 食事の問題も考慮していただきましたが、
彼はあまりに食べられないものが多いので完璧にするには
外食ではほぼ無理なのです。

Dinner, 26th of October 
'Ormer broiled' looked a little grotesque and also R cannot eat the shell group.
I had R's one too.
They cared about R's food problems, although he did not eat everything.
 It is impossible for perfect eating out,
because he cannot eat many things.

これは私のチョイスです。ちょっと給食っぽい？

This is my choice. It looks a little like a school lunch?

4) 朝の景色 / Morning Views 

長崎港 と長崎市内
長崎港も佐世保港同様に、港湾法上の重要港湾、
港則法上の特定港に指定されています。

 
Nagasaki Port and Nagasaki City
Nagasaki Port is designated a Major Port in Harbor Act and 
a Special Port in Act on Port Regulations like Sasebo Port.

Can you see cables which hold up the bridge?
