On either side are flood plains.
The river meanders which has made some oxbow lakes.
The area is a popular tourist spot with about 350,000 visitors a year.

この日の私達のコースは、カックミア川を挟んで"センブン シスター"と反対側 :
"Seaford Head"に行きます。
Today, our route was leaving River Cuckmere going away from the Seven Sisters to "Seaford Head".
