鳶とカラス / The Kite and The Crow

リンビングルームから、鳶とカラスのにらめっこを発見！

そうしているうちに両者は飛び立っていったのですが......

I saw from my living-room  a staring-out game between a kite and a crow.

Then they flew away, however.......

この鳶が飛んでいったさきには、複数の鳶が一本の木にとまっていたのでした。

そして、同じカラスがどういうわけか、この中にまじって行き、一羽の、こどもと思われる鳶をつっついたのです。

The kite flew and joined a few other kites perched on one tree.

The crow followed, joined them in the tree and then somehow the crow tried to pick at the kite which I thought  was a youngster. 

親と思われる鳶が一度飛び立ち、このカラスの後ろにまわりました。

さすがに、そうまでされるとこのカラスは逃げ去って行きました。

いったい、彼らに何があったのでしょう？？？

The kite I thought was a parent, flew and arrived at the crow's back.

As expected, this crow ran.

Why did this happen???

左の鳶はけがをしているのでしょうか？
The kite on the left might be injured....?

カラスがいなくなり、親が大丈夫かい？と聞いているように見えます。

After the crow had gone, the parent seemed to be asking the youngster,

'Are you alright?'
