物件探し: 江の電エリア/ Looking for Property Close to Toy Train

1) 七里ケ浜 / Shichirigahama

A. 江の電 / Toy Train 

今日は七里ケ浜の物件を見に来ましたが、またしても決められませんでした。

七里ケ浜の江の電を撮影しました。


Toy Train 

Today, we came here to look at a property, again we did not decide. 

I took photographs of Toy Train: Enoden in Shichirigahama.

B.  アマルフィ ドルチェ / AMALFI DOLCE 

不動産屋の方と会う時間よりちょっと早く着いたので、駅の近くの 
 アマルフィ ドルチェ でお茶をしました。

こちらのお店は江の電七里ケ浜駅前にあり、アマルフィのケーキを売るお店で、カフェではありません。

ただし、ケーキと一緒にならセルフサービスでカフェもできるのです。

 アマルフィのカフェのお店は海沿いにあります。

AMALFI DOLCE

We arrived at Shichirigahama Station a little earlier than our appointment with the agent, so we decided to have a cup of tea in "AMALFI DOLCE"(Cake Shop).

This shop is in front of Shichirigahama Station and sells 
AMALFI's cakes, though it is not a proper cafe.

However, if you have cake here, you can get beverage self-service style. 

In other words you cannot have it without cake. 

AMALFI Cafe is set back from main beach road.

セルフサービスのカフェですが、
お店の女の子は、美味しく紅茶を入れてくれて、
ちょっとびっくり！

Here the style is self-service cafe, 
although the shop assistant made our tea well 
so we were a little surprised!

Rはイチジクのチョコレートケーキ、
私はベークドチーズケーキをいただきました。

R had chocolate cale with fig.
I had a baked cheese cake.

2) 極楽寺 / Gokurakuji-Temple 

A. どしゃぶり/ Pouring 

今日は極楽寺の物件を見に来ました。

この駅で降りるのは、初めてです。

すごい大雨の中でしたが、駅があまりにかわいらしく魅力的なので、写真を撮りました。

Today, we came here  to look at a house.

It was the first time we got out at this station.

It was pouring down, although the station is very lovely and attraticive, so I took photographs. 


B. まつ本 / MATSUMOTO

和食: まつ本 
Japanese meal restaurant : MATSUMOTO

このお店は私が英国にいるときから、鎌倉に住んだら行きたいと思っていたところでした。

ですが、極楽寺に来ることがなく、今まで来れずにいたのです。

極楽寺の物件を見つけて内見を決め、このお店のランチの予約もしました。

ものすごい雨だったので、物件を見るのをキャンセルしたかったのですが、ここのランチに行きたい気持ちが強かったので、キャンセルしないまま極楽寺にやって来たのでした。


 MATSUMOTO

Since I lived in Britain, I have thought that if I lived in Kamakura 
I would visit this restaurant. 

However, I did not come to Gokurakukji - temple, so I could not make it.

When I found a possible house in Gokurakuji-temple and booked 
a viewing, I booked lunch here.

Today, it was pouring, so I would cancel the viewing, however, I really wanted to visit the restaurant, so I did not cancel and I came.

駅前から続く道路沿いにあります。
駐車場の分だけ奥まっているので、
ちょっと見つけずらいかも？

This is on the road from the station.
We might miss it, because the restaurant stands back from
 the road for their car park.

Inside is Neat

ランチメニュー
店構えがなんとなく高そうですが、
ご覧のとおり、手頃です。

Lunch Menu 
Their outside looks expensive,
although their lunch cost is reasonable.

材料のひとつひとつを用意してゆく丁寧さ。
これはRの注文した天ぷら定食のためのもの。

Their preparation is very careful.
This is for Tempura set which R ordered.

茶碗蒸しをたった200円で追加できます。
茶碗蒸しも、最初から作ります。

 Chawanmushi is only ¥200 extra.
They make it from scratch.
Chawanmushi is a steamed egg custard appetizer.


Rの嫌いなものをのぞいてすべてを作ってくれました。
Rはとても大喜びでした。

They made a meal which avoided R's dislikes.
He was very pleased.

私はさしみ定食です。
煮物も、黒豆も、おさしみも、茶碗蒸しも美味しかったですし、
どれも美しく仕上がっています。
また訪れたいお店です。

I had Sashimi set.
It was delicious and beautiful.
I would come again. 

そうそう、物件はまた決められませんでした。

On! Yes! We did not decide on this property either.
