Rは日本に来ても中古レコードを買っています。
彼のレコードは、一番新しいものでも、
です。
古いレコードジャケットには、今の時代にはない雰囲気があり、
魅力的に感じます。
Rの好みは主に３つ、
a)クラシック音楽
b)ロックミュージック
c)こども向け。
下記の三つのレーコードを聞きながら、クリスマスツリーの飾り付けをしました。
Antique Music
R tries to buy second-hand records even when he comes to Japan.
I think old covers have atmosphere which CDs do not, so I feel they are attractive.
R's taste is three main types,
a) Classical Music
b) Rock Music
c) For Children
While we listened to the three records below, we decorated the Christmas Trees.
2) クラシック音楽 / Classical Music
ジャケットのタイトルが
"ROYAL FIREWORKS MUSIC
FEUERWERKSMUSIK"
とありますが、本当の曲のタイトルは
Music for the Royal Fireworks
(王宮の花火の音楽)
です。
FEUERWERKSはドイツ語で[Fireworks / 花火]です。
作曲家はヘンデル (1685-1759)です。
ヘンデルは、ドイツ生まれで英国に帰化しました。
Classical Music
The cover shows the title :
"ROYAL FIREWORKS MUSIC
FEUERWERKSMUSIK"
although the true title of the music is
"Music for the Royal Fireworks"
FEUERWERKS is Fireworks in German.
The composer was Handel (1685-1759) who was a German and was naturalized in Britain.

| 曲の出だしからして、中世の宮殿を思わす曲です。 この私のイメージは、映像でお城や舞踏会の場面にこのような曲が 流れているためではないかと思います。 Judging from the start, this music gives me images of palaces in the Middle Ages. I think this image comes from some film scenes of castles or balls with this kind of music. |

今日はジャケットの話をしていたので、ジャケットが派手なこの
レコードを選んで聞きました。
Today, we talked about record covers, so I selected a flamboyant one and listened to the music.

| 彼らが無理して不良ぶっている風でかわいく感じるのは 年のせい？ I feel it is lovely that they deliberately made themselves look delinquent. The reason is my age? |

| レコードの場合、ジャケットはそれぞれ違いますが、 レコードラベルは会社で統一されていたことを思い出しました。 このラベルは記憶にはありませんが、 ときどき彼のレコードで見覚えがあるものがあります。 I recalled that the each record cover is different, although the record label is unified for a company. I do not remember this one, however, sometimes I recognized others among his records. |
ツリーの飾り付けには、このレコードの曲が一番あっていました。
This record most suited decorating Christmas Trees.

| 過去に人気のラジオこども番組があり、 それを聞いてる設定で曲が流れて来ます。 なので、ときどきアナウンサーの声が入ります。 (「DJ」という言葉が生まれる前の時代です） ジャケットカバーは、その情景です。 絵の真ん中の箱が、古い形のラジオなんですね〜。 There was a popular radio programme for children, the arrangement is like listening to the programme from a radio, so sometimes we hear the announcer's voice. This cover shows this. The box in the centre of the cover picture shows an old fashioned radio, indeed! |

| この中にバッキンガム宮殿の衛兵交代式のセクションで紹介した くまのプーさんの曲が入っていて、嬉しい驚きがありました。 ❶バッキガム宮殿-衛兵交代式/ Buckingham Palace-Changing of the Guard I wrote about 'Changing of the Guard in Buckingham Palace before. I introduce Winnie the Pooh's music there. This record has the music and it was a nice surprise.  |

昨年から、クリスマスツリーが２本になり、玄関とリビングルームに飾っています。
英国へ行く前からオーナメントを結構集めていたので、一本のツリーでは込み合いすぎてきていたからです。
もう新しいオーナメントは殆ど買いません。
ただ毎年スワロヴスキーの雪の結晶のオーナメントだけは買い足しています。
これは現在の私の唯一のコレクションで、Rから私への
クリスマスマスプレゼントになっています。

Last year we had Christmas Trees in the entrance as well as in the living-room.
I started collected christmas ornaments before I lived in Britain, one Christmas Tree was too small for all of them.
For now, I do not buy new ornaments, although a Swarovski snowflake of is added every year.
This is only my collection and becomes R's Christmas present to me.

寂しいな〜！
来年はどこか違う場所を飾り付けていつのです。
そこもお気に入りな家になることを願っています。
