1) 桐生 / Kiryū
非常に珍しいことに、実家への用事に関係なく、桐生へ行きました。

鎌倉で私と同じリトグラフ工房で作品制作をしている、

石黒隆宗 (1971 ~ )さんの二人展が、桐生であったからです。

石黒さんは、自宅にエッチング工房をもっているので、版画はリトグラフ作品だけではありません。

2018年の彼の銀座での個展以来、彼の作品をまとまって見ていませんでした。

銀座での個展については下記。

今回は二人展で、小峰 力 (コミネ ツトム / 1973 ~)さんという油絵を中心に制作をされている方と一緒でした。

小峰さんにお会いしたのも、作品を見たのも初めてでした。

また、開催されたパンセ ギャラリー : Pensee Galleryを訪れたのも初めてでした。

Kiryū

Very rarely, do I go to Kiryu without doing something with or for my mother, who lives in Kiryū.

This time was because Takamune Ishiguro (1971 ~), who makes prints in the same lithograph studio as me in Kamakura, was part of a two-person exhibition.

He has an etching studio at home, so his prints are not only lithograph works

I hadn't seen his works together since his solo exhibition in Ginza in 2018.

About his exhibition in Ginza, below.

❶ 2018年9月21日 東京 - 石黒隆宗展 / Tokyo - Takamune Ishigur...

This time, he was exhibiting with Tsutomu Komine (1973 ~), who mainly produces oil paintings.

It was the first time I met Komine and saw his work.

This was also my first time to visit the Pensee Gallery.

2) パンセ ギャラリー  / Pensee Gallery

パンセギャラリーは、2013年に、貸しスペース兼アトリエとして

オープンしました。

2013年後、何度か桐生へ行きましたが、全くこのギャラリーに気が付きませんでした。

このギャラリーは、展示会設営、大工仕事やリフォーム工事も受けています。

パンセ ギャラリー は、この仕事のショールーム的役割も兼ねているのかもしれません。

パンセ ギャラリー 
"Pensee" とはフランス語で "思い" や "考え"
という意味を持った言葉だそうです。

Pensee Gallery

In 2013 Pensee Gallery opened as a rental space and atelier.

After 2013, I have been to Kiryu a few times, although I didn't notice this gallery at all.

The gallery also provides exhibition setup services, carpentry and remodeling work.

The  Pensee Gallery may also serve as a showroom for these works.

ギャラリー内で、夫Rと石黒さんが話しています。
私と石黒さんが知り合う前に、
彼らは鎌倉で知り合っていました。
そうそう、石黒さんはNYでアートを学びました。
なので彼はRと英語で話せます。

My husband R and Ishiguro are talking in the gallery.
Before I and Ishiguro got to know each other,
they knew in Kamakura.
Oh Yes! Ishiguro studied art in NY.
So he speaks with R in English.

私は、このギャラリーオーナーさんの
センスが好きです。
桐生にこのギャラリーができて
嬉しいです。

I like the taste of this gallery owner.
I am happy there is this gallery in Kiryū.

3) 二人展 / Two People Exhibition

この展覧会は、ギャラリーの企画展であり、巡回展でもあるので、

桐生のあとは、茨城へ移動します。

この二人を選んだオーナーさんのセンスは素敵だと思いました。

二人の手法は油絵と版画で違いますし、テーマも違います。

ですが、二人が使用している色彩が喧嘩をしないので、会場の雰囲気に統一感がありました。

Two People Exhibition

This exhibition was a special exhibition organized by the gallery, and would travel to Ibaraki after Kiryū.

I thought the sense of the owner who chose these two people was wonderful.

The media of the two are different, oil paintings and prints, and the themes are also different.

However, the colours used by the two did not quarrel, so there was a sense of unity in the atmosphere in the venue.

小峰 力 作品 / Tsutomu Komine Works

小峰さんは人体に興味があるとおしゃっていました。
作品も人体をモチーフに描かれています。

Komine said that he is interested in the human body.
His works are also painted with the human body as a motif.

緊張感と硬い意志が感じられる
力強い作品です。
でも繊細...。

They are powerful works that give me
 a sense of tension and a strong will.
But delicate ...

地層のように感じられます。
湧き上がるマグマも感じます。
思えば、人体も何層も重なる物体です。
人の複雑な気持ちも奥深くに渦巻いていますね。

For me, they feel like stratums.

I also feel magma that springs up.

If I think about it, the human body is an object with many layers.

People's complicated feelings are swirling deeply.

石黒さん作品 / Ishiguro Works

外から 
石黒さんの作品！と見つけて、嬉しくなります。

 From Outside
Ishiguro's work! I am happy to find them.

リトグラフ工房で時々彼の作品を見ますが、
会場で見る作品は違っています。
会場の雰囲気もあるのでしょうけれど、
明らかに作品には別の手法で手が加えられ、
奥深さがより感じられます。

I sometimes see his works in the lithograph studio, 

but the works I see in the venue are different.

There may be an atmosphere of the gallery, 

though obviously some of the works have been modified 

in different ways, giving them a more profound feel.

混沌とした中で光を求めているのでしょうか？
Are you looking for light in the chaos?

空間について
彼は
「アキの空間がなかなか作れない」
と言っていましたが、最近の作品にはそれがあります。
アキの空間は、'アキ'にたくさんの何かが入っています。
彼の試行錯誤が実っているのだな〜と感じます。

About Space

He said

"It's hard to make a space for emptiness"

but recently his works have them.

In empty space, there is a lot of something.

I feel that his trial and error has come to fruition.

2019年11月5日 ゴールデングリーンの野菜 / Golden Green's Vegetables, 5th of November, 2019

秋の野菜がゴールデングリーンから届きました。

箱を開けると、野菜だけでなく、現地の空気も届くような気がします。

ゴールデングリーンさん、いつも美味しい野菜をありがとう！

いつもこれらの食材を使って、どう調理するか、
素材を生かす料理をするか、
嬉しい悩みをかかえます。

Golden Green Vegetables

The increase in root vegetables makes me feel autumn.

I always have a happy problem 

about how to cook using these ingredients and 

how to make the best use of the ingredients.

Autumn vegetables have arrived from Golden Green.

When I open the box, I feel that not only the vegetables but also the local air can reach me.

❸ 2019年11月4日 Cafe Liberta - 子ども食堂 - 阿佐ヶ谷 - 東京 / Cafe Liberta - Children Cafeteria in Asagaya, Tokyo 4th of November, 2019

友人のIzumiちゃんのイベント : 'リアル シトロン' が、開催されている、阿佐ヶ谷の "CONTEXT- S"へ、姉Y、私の夫R、私の3人で行きました。

'リアル シトロン' については下記。

その後、カフェを探しつつ、阿佐ヶ谷を散策。

予定していたカフェを見つけましたが、Yが難色を示し、また、

'カフェ探しの旅' に出ました。

そうして見つけたのが、"Cafe Liberta" でした。

通常のカフェだと思って入店したら、そこは、"子ども食堂" という、"東日本大震災で被災した子どもたちを支援する" 店でした。

私とRは、"子ども食堂" を知りませんでしたが、Yは、知っていました。

スタッフの方が、親切にどんな活動をしているかを説明してくれました。

こども達は、このカフェで無料で食事ができます。

私達のような一般人に対しては、サービスされる飲み物などは値段が決まっていず、私達自身の判断で支払いをします。

このカフェの活動は食べ物だけでなく、東北で自然を奪われたこども達に、自然に接する経験をしてもらうイベントも行っています。

そのイベントで楽しそうに写っている子供達の写真も見せていただきました。

Yは、そうした活動があることを知っていたので驚きは少なかったかもしれませんが、私とRは初めて知った活動だったので、感銘を受けました。

世の中は自分の利益追求しかしない人も多いけれど、温かな気持ちを形に、活動に表せる人々がいることを実感し、尊敬の念を抱きます。

私達は、寄付の意味を込めて、3杯のコーヒーに、3,000円を払いました。

この額が多いのか、少ないのか、わかりませんが、スタッフの方々は驚いていました。

その反応を見て、通常、ここでの一般の方々はいくらくらい払っているのかしら？と疑問に思いましたが、まあ、気持ちですからね、少なかろうと、多かろうと....。

社会活動。"

"子ども食堂" の名前は掲げていても、その店によって、目的も活動内容も違っているようです。

運営も、NPO法人や民間団体、住民による有志、個人などあり、違います。

どこにせよ、こどもを救うためのボランティア活動の1つであると理解しました。

I visited 'Real Citron' : my friend Izumi chan's event in "CONTEXT- S, Asagaya, Tokyo, with my sister Y and my husband R.

❷ 2019年11月4日 リアルシトロン ショップ - 阿佐ヶ谷 -東京 / Real Citron...

After that, we took a walk in Asagaya while looking for a cafe.

I found the cafe I had planned, but Y was reluctant and went on a 'cafe hunting trip'.

Then we found "Cafe Liberta".

When we entered the cafe thinking that it was a normal cafe, actually it was a "Kodomo Shokudo ; Children Cafeteria" that supports children affected by the 'Aftermath of the 2011 Tōhoku Earthquake and Tsunami'. 

R and I didn't know of the "Kodomo Shokudo ; Children Cafeterias", but Y did.

The staff kindly explained what kind of activities they are doing.

Children can eat for free in this cafe.

For ordinary people like us, the prices of drinks served are not fixed and we will pay at our own discretion.

The activity of this cafe is not only food, but also events that create experiences of interacting with nature for children who have been deprived of nature in Tōhoku.

The staff also showed us photographs of the children who seemed to be happy in the events.

Y may have been less surprised because she knew there was such an activity, but I and R was very impressed because it was the first we knew of the activity.

There are many people in the world who only pursue their own interests, though I feel that there are people who can express their warm feelings in their activities, and I also respect them.

We paid 3,000 yen for three cups of coffee with the meaning of donation.

The staff were surprised, I don't know if this amount is high or low.

Seeing their reactions, how much does the general public usually pay here? I was wondering, but well, it's a feeling, whether it's small or large ....

Below, from the Japanese Wiki (excerpt)
"Kodomo Shokudo is a social activity in Japan to provide children, their parents, and local people with free or cheap, nutritious meals and warm gatherings."

Even though the name of "Kodomo Shokudo" is mentioned, it seems that the purpose and activity contents are different depending on restaurants or cafes.

The operations are also different because there are NPO : Non-profit Organization corporations, private organizations, volunteers by residents, individuals, etc.

Anyway I understand that it is one of the volunteer activities to help children.

雰囲気がある入り口です。
何度訪れても、あっ！素敵！と思います。

It is an entrance with an atmosphere.
No matter how many times I visit, Oh! Lovely! I think.

Last year I broke my toe and couldn't go, but R went alone.

The last time I and my sister Y visited was in 2016 (below), so it's been 3 years since then!

私と姉は紅茶をいただきました。

Izumiちゃんに会えて、おしゃべりができたことも、リアルシトロンで来れたことも嬉しかったです。

阿佐ヶ谷の "CONTEXT- S" で、友人のIzumiちゃんがイベント : 

'リアル シトロン' を開催していました。

それが目的で、私の姉Y、私の夫R、私の3人で阿佐ヶ谷へ行きました。

'リアル シトロン'へ行く前に、パン屋さんの"けやき庵"でランチをとりました。

'Bakery in Town'

In  "CONTEXT- S" in Asagaya, Tokyo, my friend Izumi was holding an event : 'Real Citron'.

For that purpose, I, my sister,Y and my husband R went to Asagaya.

Before going to 'Real Citron', we had lunch in the bakery cafe "Keyaki-an".

パンのヴァイキングが人気と聞いていたので
このパン屋を選びました。
ですが、ヴァイキングを選んだのは姉Yだけで、
私とRはそれぞれ違うランチセットを選びました。

Bread Buffet

I heard that the bread buffet is popular, 

so I chose this bakery.

However, only my sister, Y chose the buffet, 

and I and R chose different lunch sets.

このパン屋さんは、味と値段のバランスが上手なように感じました。

気取りすぎていず、'町のパン屋さん' の雰囲気を保っています。

地元の方々に愛されるパン屋さんだと思いました。

パン屋さんのサイトにも、"目線は'地元'に" という表記を見つけました...やはり...。

味もサービスも素朴さを感じるお店です。

Rの食の問題もできるかぎりの対処はしていただきました。
ありがとうございました。
それでも、Rはセットのスープは飲めず、
私が飲みました。
私はマルゲリータ風のピザ(パンですが)を注文。
私のランチは撮影し忘れました。

They were careful about R's food problem 

as much as possible.

Thank you very much.

Still, R couldn't drink the set soup, I drank it.

I ordered a Margherita-style pizza (though it's bread).

I forgot to photograph my lunch.

I felt that this bakery had a good balance between taste and price.

It's not too pretentious and keeps the atmosphere of a 'Bakery in Town'.

I thought it was a bakery loved by the locals.

On the bakery's website site, I also found the notation "Aimed at 'locals".

Here is a bakery where I can feel the simple taste and service.

美味しいパンでしたが、鎌倉からここまで
買いに来るほどではありません。

I bought some bread here as well.

It was delicious bread, 

but not enough to come here from Kamakura.

2) お洒落な雑貨屋さん

道を歩いていて、店内に目が止まりました。
素敵な雑貨があるので、入店しました。
このお店も、偶然にも2018年にオープンでした。

As I was walking down the road, 

the inside of this shop caught my eye.

We entered the shop 

because there are nice miscellaneous goods.

This shop also happened to open in 2018.

可愛い物を売る雑貨屋さんが多い中、
このお店は、'素敵な'とか、'かっこいい' などの形容詞が
似合う雑貨が多いように感じました。

From among all the 'things shops' that sell cute items, 

I felt that this shop has many things that 

suit adjectives such as 'lovely' or 'cool'.

快く撮影許可を出してくださいました。

The owner happily gave me permission for photographs.

遊び心もあります。
上の写真の下の小さな子は下の写真の子です。

They are also playful.
The tiny figure in the lower left corner of photo above,
 is the figure in the photo below.
