1) アンパンマンの思い出
Memories of Anpanman
ローカル線のホームに向かいました。
そこで、"アンパンマン列車" を発見！
"アンパンマン列車"の存在を知らなかったので、嬉しい驚きでした。
ローカル線のホームに停車中のアンパンマン列車をたくさん撮影しました。
私は、アンパンマンのTVのアニメーション :
『それいけ!アンパンマン』は見ませんし、キャラクターグッズも
絵本も持っていません。
『詩とメルヘン』は、'アンパンマン' の作者、やなせ たかし (1919 - 2013) 氏が編集長を務めた雑誌です。
『詩とメルヘン』を購読中に、'お腹を空かせた人々に自身の顔であるアンパンを差し出し、食べてもらう' という設定をやなせ氏が書いた記事(または氏のインタヴュー)で知りました。
'アンパンマン' の物語もいつくか読みました。
確か、'アンパンマン' の歌もあったと記憶しています。
「お腹を空かせた人をたすけるため、云々」という歌詞があったと思います。
それは、現在、よく知られている 『アンパンマンのマーチ』(アニメーションのオープニング曲) とは、まったく別物でした。
私は、アンパンマンの誕生アイディアに感心しつつも、自己犠牲の思想も感じ、違和感を持っていましたが、深く思考するには、若かったのか、年に関わらず、私の軽薄さなのか、購読は続けました。
私が記憶しているアンパンマン関連のことが、『詩とメルヘン』に載っていたのか、関連雑誌だったのか、記憶が曖昧です。
本格的に美大をめざした時期に、『詩とメルヘン』の購読はやめ、今に至ります。
アンパンマンとも同時期にお別れをしています。
私は、実家を出たあと、ずっと、TVを持っていません。
なので、アンパンマンがTVでアニメーション化されたことも、アンパンマンが人気者になったことも、ずいぶんあとになって知りました。
私がそれらを知った時には、当初の設定は、見られず、アンパンマンは単に、'悪' とたたかうヒーローになっていました。
当初の設定を知っていた私は、悶々とした気持ちになりましたが、今は、日本が食に関して豊かになったのだと前向きに捉えています。
(実際は、まともに食べることができない子供達が少なからずいて、彼らを助ける活動もあると聞いていますが...)
現在は、アンパンマンもそれに準ずるキャラクターたちも、子供達が愛する、喜ぶ存在で、昔のアンパンマンとは別物なのだと認識しています。
アートの道を歩むことを決めた時に別れたアンパンマンと、アートの旅の入り口であったことが不思議に感じます。
ちなみに、なぜ、アンパンマン列車がJR四国にあるかというと、やなせ氏が高知県出身だったからです。
生まれたのは東京でしたが、育ったのが高知県高知市だったのですね〜。

Memories of Anpanman
We arrived at Okayama Station by Shinkansen and headed to the local train platform to transfer to Marine Liner 25.
There, I found the "Anpanman Train"s!
I was pleasantly surprised because I had never heard of the "Anpanman Train": ★.
I took many photographs of "Anpanman Train"s at the local train platform.
I don't watch the Anpanman TV animation, "Go! Anpanman", I don't own any character goods and don't have its picture book.
However, Anpanman is connected to a magazine that I liked, "Poetry and Märchen ; Fairy Tales" [1973 - 2003 / Sanrio Publishing].
"Poetry and Fairy Tales" was the magazine edited by Yanase Takashi (1919 - 2013), the creator of "Anpanman".
While I was subscribing to the Magazine I found out about the plot in an article written by Yanase (or in an interview with him), in which Anpanman offers hungry people an anpan (a Japanese sweet roll most commonly filled with red bean paste) with his face on it, asking them to eat it (me).
I have read several "Anpanman" stories.
I remember that there was a song about Anpanman.
I think there was a line that said, "To save the hungry."
It was completely different from the now well-known
"Anpanman March" (the opening song of the animation).
I was impressed by the idea behind Anpanman's creation, but I also felt that it was a self-sacrifice idea, and felt uncomfortable about it, however, perhaps because I was too young to think deeply about it, or perhaps because I am frivolous regardless of my age, I continued to subscribe.
I have a vague memory of whether the Anpanman-related things I remember were in "Poetry and Fairy Tales" or related magazines.
When I started to seriously aim for art school, I stopped buying "Poetry and Fairy Tales".
I also said goodbye to Anpanman at the same time.
I haven't had a TV since I left my parents' house.
So it was only much later that I found out that Anpanman had been animated on TV and that he had become popular.
When I found out about them, the original storyline was gone, and Anpanman was simply a hero who fought against 'evil' : Villains ; Baikinman : "Bacteria Man".
Knowing the original storyline made me feel uneasy, but now I see it in a positive light, as it means that Japan has become richer in terms of food.
(In reality, there are quite a few children who cannot eat properly, and I have heard that there are activities to help them...)
Today, I recognize that Anpanman and similar characters are loved and enjoyed by children, and are different from the Anpanman of the past.
It seems mysterious to me that the Anpanman I parted ways with when I decided to pursue a career in art was the beginning of my journey into art.
By the way, the reason why the Anpanman train is on JR Shikoku is because Yanase came from Kochi Prefecture.
He was born in Tokyo but grew up in Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture.

2) 土讃線・ アンパンマン列車
Dosan Line Anpanman Train
アンパンマン列車にはたくさんの種類があり、それぞれに路線が決まっています。
これらの列車の運転区間は、岡山駅 - 高知駅間です。
1~4号車まであります。

Dosan Line Anpanman Train
There are many types of Anpanman trains, each with its own designated route.
The first one I saw was a red Anpanman train that runs on the Dosan Line.
There is also a yellow Anpanman train that runs on the Dosan Line, but I haven't seen that one.
These trains operate between Okayama Station and Kochi Station.
There are cars 1 to 4.

3) 8000系アンパンマン列車
8000 Series Anpanman Train
赤いアンパンマン列車の次に見たのは、白い本体の
8000系アンパンマン列車でした。
これは、予讃線 (ヨサンセン) を走ります。
宇和島駅 (愛知県宇和島市)間の路線ですが、8000系アンパンマン
列車は、岡山 - 松山間のみです。

8000 Series Anpanman Train
The next thing I saw after the red Anpanman train was the white 8000 series Anpanman train.
This runs on the Yosan Line.
The Yosan Line runs between Takamatsu Station (Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture) - Matsuyama Station (Matsuyama City, Aichi Prefecture) - Uwajima Station (Uwajima City, Aichi Prefecture), but the 8000 series Anpanman train only runs between Okayama and Matsuyama.

| JR 四国2700系2714 ・'特急しまんと' カラフルな電車を見ました。 '変身ヒーロー' を思わせる顔つきです。 愛称は、'しまんと'、正式名はJR 四国2700系2714で、 特急形気動車 (トッキュウケイキドウシャ)です。 私は、ここで初めて気動車 という言葉を知りました。 気動車は、ディーゼルカー、こちらの言葉を知ってました。 'しまんと' は、四万十川 (シマントガワ)からです。 JR Shikoku 2700 Series 2714: Limited Express 'SHIMANTO' I saw a colorful train. Its face reminds me of a 'Transforming Hero'. Its nickname is 'SHIMANTO', its official name is JR Shikoku 2700 Series 2714, and it is a limited express diesel railcar. "エクステリアデザインも概ね2600系を踏襲し、日本の伝統意匠をアレンジした「Neo Japonism(ネオジャポニスム)」をコンセプトとする"
"「優れた技術を継承するとともに現在の特急車両としての技術や設備を備えた完成度の高い車両であること」が評価され、第60回ローレル賞を受賞した。"
ローレル賞というものがあることを初めて知りました。
私が好きな '相鉄20000系電車'も、2019年第59回ローレル賞を取っていました。
嬉しい！
'相鉄20000系電車' の、"YOKOHAMA NAVYBLUE（ヨコハマ ネイビーブルー)" と呼ばれる色が好きです。
According to Wiki about JR Shikoku 2700 Series 2714,
"The design is based on the 2600 series[ and features a red, gold, and green color scheme, described as "Neo Japonism."
"The 2700 series was the recipient of the 2020 Laurel Prize."
I had never heard of the Laurel Prize before.
My favourite train, the 'Sotetsu 20000 series', also won the 59th Laurel Award in 2019. I'm glad!
I like the colour of the 'Sotetsu 20000 series', called "YOKOHAMA NAVYBLUE".
思わぬ珍しい電車を見つけて、嬉しい気分のまま、マリンライナーのホームへ向かいました。
Feeling delighted to have found such an unexpected and rare train, I headed to the Marine Liner platform.
