2017年、2019年、2022年と私は、東京、表参道にあるGalerie412で個展を開催しています。

そのギャラリーのオーナー、村越 美津子 (ムラコシ ミツコ / 1932 - 2022) さんの追悼展が開催されたので、姉と行きました。

下記、Galerie412のサイトより

"1974年に旧同潤会青山アパートに画廊をオープン。

以来、絵画や彫刻、詩や文学、音楽をテーマにジャコメッティ、

ベン・シャーン、ル・コルビジェ、篠田桃紅、佐野ぬい、黒田アキ、

山中現、ケンジ・スズキ等の展覧会を企画。"

Galerie412は、同潤会青山アパートで、初めて部屋を商業施設として使いました。

その後、多くのブティックや店が建物に入り、独特の文化を作っていました。

建物は、2003年に解体され、その跡地に建設された表参道ヒルズの一角に、同潤会青山アパートの建材などを再利用して建築された

「同潤館」が設置されました。

Galerie412

In 2017, 2019, and 2022, I had exhibitions at Galerie412 in Omotesando, Tokyo.

A memorial exhibition was being held for the gallery's owner, 

Mitsuko Murakoshi (1932 - 2022), so I visited with my sister.

According to Galerie412's website,

"We opened a gallery at the former Dojunkai Aoyama apartment in 1974. 

Since then we have organized exhibitions such as Alberto Giacometti, Ben Shahn, Le Corbusier, Shinoda Toko, Sano Nui, Kuroda Aki, Yamanaka Gen, Kenji Suzuki etc. with themes of paintings, sculptures, poetry and literature, music."

Galerie412 was one of the Dojunkai Aoyama Apartments, and was the first to use the rooms as a commercial facility.

Subsequently, many boutiques and shops moved into the building, creating a unique culture.

The building was demolished in 2003, and the Dojunkan Wing was built in a corner of Omotesando Hills, built on the site, using recycled building materials from the Dojunkai Aoyama Apartments.

2) 追悼展 / Memorial Exhibition

私が、Galerie412で、初めて個展(第9回個展)を開催した2019年には、村越さんは体調を崩しはじめていらっしゃいました。

その後、お会いする機会がないまま、お亡くなりになってしまい、残念に思っています。

スタッフのChizukaさんから、村越さんのお話や '昔のギャラリー' のお話を聞いていましたので、私の感覚としては、すでに村越さんに会っていたような錯覚を持つまでになっていました。

また、私をアートの世界へ導いてくださった恩師、

秋山孝 (アキヤマタカシ / 1952 - 2022 / ★ / ★ / ★) 先生が村越さんと同年同日に亡くなり、何かしらのご縁を村越さんには感じていました。

A TALE - A Story - With Memories
 Mitsuko Murakoshi Memorial Exhibition

According to this invitation card, 

(translated by me)

"On 18th of  January, 2022, 

gallery owner Mitsuko Murakoshi passed away.

She was 90 years old.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for 

all the support she provided during her lifetime."

Memorial Exhibition

In 2019, when I held my first exhibition (my 9th exhibition) in Galerie412, Murakoshi's health began to deteriorate.

After that, I never had the chance to meet her, and I regret that she passed away.

I had heard about Murakoshi and the 'old gallery' from staff member Chizuka, so I had the impression that I had already met Murakoshi.

In addition, my teacher, Akiyama Takashi (1952 - 2022 / ★ / ★ / ★), who led me into the art world, passed away on the same day as Murakoshi, so I felt some kind of connection with her.

村越さんの好みの作品や、村越さんとの思い出の作品、ギャラリーの歴史(歩み)などが展示されていました。

心がこもった追悼展であったと思います。

思い出がいっぱい！
Full of Memories!

On display were works that Murakoshi liked, works that evoke memories of Murakoshi, and the history of the gallery.

I think it was a heartfelt memorial exhibition.

村越美津子さんのご冥福をお祈りします。

 I pray for the repose of the soul of Mitsuko Murakoshi.
