1) 鹿児島空港 / Kagoshima Airport

飛行機に詳しい方々、飛行機のオタクの方々のような惚れ込み方とは違うとは思いますが、私は、飛行機が好きです。

I don't think it's the same way as people who know a lot about 

aeroplanes, or people who are otaku about aeroplanes who fall in love with aeroplanes, however, I like aeroplanes.

海上保安庁と鹿児島県警察航空隊の格納庫が並んでいます。
きゃ〜！と嬉しくなるのは私だけでしょうか？
鹿児島県警察航空隊の向こうに見える
球体の頭のタワーはなんでしょうか？
'ドップラー・レイダー' でした。
'ドップラー・レイダー'を初めて知りました。

From the Window
The hangars of the Japan Coast Guard and
 the Kagoshima Police aviation are lined up.
Wow! Am I the only one who is happy with this?
What is the sphere-headed tower?
It is a 'Doppler radar'.
I learned about 'Doppler radar' for the first time.

'ドップラー・レイダー'

下記、気象庁のサイトより

"空港気象ドップラーレーダーは、アンテナを回転させながら電波（マイクロ波）を発射して、一般的な気象レーダーと同様に雨や雪などの降水の分布を観測するとともに、電波のドップラー効果を利用することによって風の分布も観測しています。"

詳しいことは、今もって理解できません。

が、'風向や風速の急変' を探知できるので、悪天候下での飛行機の離着陸をサポートできるため、多くの空港で設置されていると理解しています。

'Doppler Radar'

From the website of the Japan Meteorological Agency,

"The airport weather Doppler radar emits microwaves while rotating the antenna, and observes the distribution of precipitation such as rain and snow in the same way as general weather radars, and uses the Doppler effect of radio waves as well as it is also observing the distribution of the wind."

I still don't understand the details.

However, it is my understanding that many airports have installed it because it can detect 'sudden changes in wind direction and speed' and can support planes taking off and landing in bad weather.

鹿児島の県鳥はルリカケス (瑠璃橿鳥)、
"ルリー"の名前は、そこから来ているのでしょうか？

左下のヘリコプターは海上保安庁のもの、
MHスーパーピューマ332でしょうか？？？

Is there a JAL hangar next to the Kagoshima Police aviation hangar?

JAC Japan Air Commuter's mascot character 

"Rully" is painted on the hangar.

Kagoshima's prefectural bird is the Amami Jay :

 Ruri-kakesu in Japanese, which may be where the name 

"Rully" comes from?

Is the helicopter in the lower left of the Japan Coast Guard, 

a MH Super Puma 332? ? ?

本物のレーダーなのに、私には特撮のレーダーに見えます。

Although it is a real radar, 

it looks like a special effects Tokusatsu radar to me.

雲海が大好き！
ですが今日は雲海ではなく、霜柱のようです。
湖の中の林のよう....フィンランディアの世界?
フィンランディアは、フィンランドの作曲家、
ジャン・シベリウス (1865 - 1957) 
によって作曲された交響詩です。
 1899 年に書かれ、1900 年に改訂されました。

I Love the Sea of Clouds!
However, today it looks like needle ice,
not a sea of clouds.
Like a forest in a lake...Finlandia's world?
Finlandia is a tone poem
by the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius (1865 - 1957).
 It was written in 1899 and revised in 1900.

明石屋のかるかん
Yが鹿児島空港で明石屋のかるかんをお土産に買いました。
日持ちがしないので、私は買いませんでした。
ですが長い間このお菓子を食べていなかったので、
自分用に1つ買いました。
飛行機の中で食べました。
美味しかったです。

Akashiya Karukan
Y bought Karukan from Akashiya
as a souvenir at Kagoshima Airport.
I didn't buy it because it doesn't last long.
But I hadn't eaten this sweet for a long time,
so I bought one for myself.
I ate this on the plane. It was lovely

もうすぐ...
高度が下がってきたようです。
羽田空港が近くなってきたのでしょうか？

Very Soon...
The altitude seems to have decreased.
Is Haneda Airport getting closer?

ここは、どのへんでしょうか？
 Where Are We Here?

海ほたる
海ほたるパーキングエリアを空から見ると、
ミステリアスな建物に感じます。
船なのか、都市なのか、
人工的な尾長鶏 (オナガドリ)のようでもあり...

Umihotaru
Looking at the Umihotaru Parking Area from the sky,
I feel it is a mysterious building.
Whether it's a ship, a city,
or like an artificial Onagadori : long-tailed chicken...

羽田空港 
始まりの地点に戻りました。

Haneda Airport
We are back where we started.

私の作品が、枕崎市が主催する『第3回枕崎国際芸術賞展』に入選し、展示されることになったので、この旅をすることになりました。

作品が入選できたのは、周囲の方々、友人達のサポートがあったからです。

皆さん、ありがとうございました。

有意義で楽しい旅でした。

Y、一緒に行ってくれてありがとうございました！

姉妹だけで旅行したのは、とてもひさしぶりでした。

思い出深い旅になったのは、Yのおかげです。

本当にありがとう！

母は、入選のお祝いとして、旅の費用をサポートしてくれました。

おかげで、当初の予定よりも、贅沢な旅ができました。

One of my works has been selected and exhibited in 'The 3rd Makurazaki International Art Award Exhibition' organized by Makurazaki City, which is why I decided to make this trip.

The reason my work was able to be selected because of the support of people around me and my friends.
