金沢在住の友人、Sちゃんが、現代アート美術館 "カムカナザワ /
KAMU Kanazawa" : ★を紹介してくれました。

彼女は、その存在は知っていましたが、まだ行ったことがないと言うので、一緒に見て回りました(下記)。
6つの展示スペースを訪れるには、最初にKAMU Centreへ行き、共通チケットを購入しました。
Sちゃんは、よくKAMU Centre前に行列ができているのを見ていました。
この日は、雨の日だったせいか、行列はなく、すぐにチケットが買えました。

KAMU Centre
One of my friends, S Chan who lives in Kanazawa, introduced me to the contemporary art 'museum' KAMU Kanazawa : ★ only in Japanese.

KAMU Kanazawa is a private contemporary art museum that opened in 2020.
There are 6 KAMU exhibition spaces in Kanazawa city.
She knew of them, but she hadn't been there yet, so we visited them, below.
To visit the 6 exhibition spaces, we first went to the KAMU Centre and purchased a combined ticket.
She often saw a queue in front of KAMU Centre.
Because it was a rainy day, there was no queue and we were able to buy the tickets right away.

A. INFINITE STAIRCASE

| 3人のアーティスト KAMU Centreでは3名のアーティスト作品が 各階に分けて展示されていました。 3 Artists In KAMU Centre, 3 artists' works were exhibited separately on each floor. |

| 1階廊下 ただの廊下ですが会場へ入ると、この廊下も いかされていることを知りました。 この廊下が現実世界の足場となります。 Ground Floor Corridor It's just a corridor, but when I entered the venue, I found that works made good used of the corridor. This corridor would be the scaffolding (firm foothold) in the real world. |
日本でのレアンドロエルリッヒ / Leandro Erlichの代表作は、金沢21世紀美術館：21美：★にある"スイミング・プール"、2004 (★)でしょう。
21美の中でも、"スイミング・プール"が最も有名だと思います。
KAMU Kanazawaでは、この作品が、21美の"スイミング・プール"の役割をしていると思います。
下記、Wikiより引用。
"人間がどのように事象を捉え、空間と関わり、現実を把握していくかを追求する作品を多数発表している。"
たとえ、上記のようなことを思考しなくとも、作品を見たり、経験したりすることで、脳への刺激になります。

The representative work of Leandro Erlich (1973 - / ★) in Japan is "Swimming Pool", 2004 (★) in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa : ★ : 21bi.
Among the 21bi works, I think the "Swimming Pool" is the most famous.
At KAMU Kanazawa, I think this work plays the role of 21 bi's
"Swimming Pool".
According to Japanese Wiki,
"Many of his works explore how humans perceive phenomena, interact with space, and perceive reality."
Even if we don't think about the above things, seeing and experiencing the work will stimulate our brain.
B. 2階 / First Floor

I like each piece and the way each is displayed.
暖かみとユーモラス、悲哀などなどが感じられます。
I can feel warmth, humor, sadness, and so on.
見ていて飽きることがありません。
I never get tired of looking at them.

C. 3階 / Second Floor
パワー全開という印象の作品群でした。
作品から彼の怒りのような感情を感じました。
'怒り'は、若さあってこそと思います。

It was a group of works with the impression of full power.
I could feel his anger from his works.
I think that 'anger' is due to youth.
各階、それぞれのアーティストの作品、とても面白かったです。
金沢に、私設の現代美術館があることが素晴らしいと思います。
21bi の影響でしょうか？
素敵な美術館を作ってくださり、ありがとうございました。
次回、金沢に来た時も、訪れたいと思います。
Each floor, each artist's work, were very interesting.
I think it's great that Kanazawa has the private contemporary art museum.

3) 歩道 / Pavement
KAMU Centreを出ると歩道に、兼六園をデザインした消火栓の蓋を見つけました。
現代美術館のそばに、歴史ある兼六園のデザインがあり、そういうところも金沢の素晴らしいところだと思います。
When we left KAMU Centre, I found a fire hydrant lid with a design of Kenroku-en Garden in the pavement.
Right next to the Museum of Contemporary Art, here is the historic Kenroku-en Design, and I think that's one of the great things about Kanazawa.
