1) 復活 / Revival

Rのフルーツサラダ
夫Rはフルーツサラダが得意です。
昨年から、より頻繁にフルーツサラダを作って
在宅生活を楽しませてくれていました。
夏に弱いRは、フルーツサラダをお休みしていました。
気候が涼しくなり、久しぶりにフルーツサラダを
作ってくれました。
材料は、柿、洋梨、りんごです。

R's Fruit Salad 

My husband R is good at making fruit salad.

Since last year, he has been making fruit salads more often 

to enjoy our life at home.

R, who is weak in summer, was absent from fruit salad.

The climate has cooled down and he made a fruit salad 

for the first time in a long time.

The ingredients are persimmons, pears and apples.

2) 今日のトンビ / Today's Black Kites 

背中から顔？
トンビは270度、首が回るの？
頚椎 (ケイツイ) の数が鳥は人よりも多く、
首を柔軟に動かせるのだそうです。

 Face on Back?
Could Black Kite turn 270 degrees?
I heard that birds have more cervical vertebrae than humans,
and they can move their necks flexibly.

二羽のトンビ
右のトンビは何度もピーヒョロロと鳴きますが
左のトンビは静かなままです。

Two Black Kites
The black kite on the right called many times,
 but the black kite on the left remains quiet.
Their distinctive calling has been described
as "like a horse neighing".
