私と夫Rは、ベルグルフェルド・カフェのランチ後、 脇道に入りました。
表通りよりも脇道の方が歩くのに適していますし、行ってみたいレストランの場所も確認したかったのです。
このセクションは、雪の下の脇道と鶴岡八幡宮の境内についてです。
Stroll
I and my husband R entered a side street after lunch in Bergfeld Cafe.
Side streets are more suitable for walking than main streets, and I also wanted to confirm the location of the restaurant I wanted to visit.
This section is about the side road in Yukinoshita Area and the precincts of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine.
2) 頼朝の痕跡 / Traces of Yoritomo
旧鎌倉は、一日で歩いて回れるほどの広さです。
ベルグルフェルドの脇道から続く道は、源 頼朝のお墓に続いていました。

Traces of Yoritomo
Kamakura was founded by Minamoto no Yoritomo
(1147 - 1199 / Shogun Incumbent : 1192 -1199) and is the city where Kamakura Shogunate (1180 ~1192 - 1333) was located.
Minamoto no Yoritomo's wife was Hōjō Masako (1157 - 1225).
Core Kamakura is small enough to walk around in a day.
There are places and buildings related to the Kamakura Shogunate, Genji (Minamoto Clan), and Hōjō Clan all over the city, and there are many monuments.
The road leading from the side road of Bergfeld leads to the grave of Minamoto no Yoritomo.

大蔵幕府舊蹟碑
頼朝は、1180年、鎌倉に入ると大倉の地に屋敷を構え、ここに
碑を中心に東御門、西御門と金沢街道に囲まれた地域に幕府があったと考えられます。
鎌倉幕府時代がいつ始まったかについて、いまだに諸説あります。
諸説とは、
1) 頼朝が鎌倉に屋敷を建てた1180年
ノギミヤカッセン)
3) 朝廷から頼朝に、守護 (軍事指揮官・行政官)・
4) 頼朝が征夷大将軍に任じられた1192年
などです。
私としては、イイクニツクロウ鎌倉幕府の1192年が覚えやすくていいな〜と思います(笑)。
なんにせよ、大蔵幕府舊蹟碑は、この地 (現・雪の下) に、頼朝が最初の屋敷を構え、関東を治め始めたことを示しています。
Okura Shogunate Monument
When Yoritomo entered Kamakura in 1180, he set up a mansion in Okura, where he organized Samurai-dokoro (Military and Police), Kumonjo (Financial and Political office), Monchujo (Justice) etc.
It is probable that the Shogunate was located in the area surrounded by the east gate, the west gate and Kanazawa Kaidō (Prefectural Road 204) centering on the monument.
There are still various theories about when the Kamakura Shogunate Period began.
What are the theories?
1) Yoritomo built a mansion in Kamakura in 1180
2) In Bando (Kantō region), the forces that were hostile to Yoritomo disappeared in 1183 (Nogimiya Battle)
3) In 1185, the Imperial Court granted Yoritomo a royal permit to appoint Shugo (Military Commander / Administrative Officer) and Jitō (Territorial Manager).
4) Yoritomo was appointed Shogun in 1192
and others.
In any case, Okura Shogunate Monument shows that Yoritomo set up his first mansion in this area and began to rule the Kanto region.
清泉小学校からの道とベルグルフェルド・カフェ脇からの道が交差する角にイタリアンレストラン・'かど屋' はあります。
私達が二階堂に住んでいたときには、この脇道はよく歩きました。
鎌倉山へ引っ越した後も、表通りを避け、こちらの道を選びます。
今日は、最近人気の'かど屋' の位置を確かめにここに来ました。
以前、ここには雰囲気の良い家がありました。
その家を改修してレストランにしたと聞きました。
Rはニンニク、玉ねぎ、そのほか食べられないものが複数あります。
例え彼の食べられない料理を作ることができるレストランでも空調に問題があると店にRの嫌いな食材の臭いがこもります。
そういうレストランでもRは食事ができません。
いつ実際に'かど屋'で、食事ができるかわかりませんが、Rでも楽しめるレストランであるようにと願っています。

Kadoya
At the corner where the road from Seisen Primary School and the road from the side of Bergfeld Cafe intersect, there is an Italian restaurant, 'Kadoya'.
We often walked along this side road when we lived in Nikaido.
Even after moving to Kamakurayama, we usually avoid the main street and choose this route.
Today, we came here to find out the location of the recently popular 'Kadoya'.
There used to be a nice house here.
I heard that the house was renovated into a restaurant.
R has inedible items, garlic, onions, and others.
Even in a restaurant where they can manage his troubles, if there is a problem with air conditioning, the smell of ingredients that R dislikes are not muffled in the restaurant.
R cannot eat at such restaurants.
I don't know when we can actually have meal in 'Kadoya', but I hope it's the restaurant that R can enjoy as well.

'かど屋' 前から、裏通りを歩いて、鶴岡八幡宮へ向かいました。
From 'Kadoya', we walked along the back alley to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine.

B. 馬と歌 / Horse and Poet

| 東鳥居 鶴岡八幡宮の東鳥居から入ります。 流鏑馬 (ヤブサメ) の道、流鏑馬馬場です。 ここは流鏑馬の出発地点なので、 '馬場元'と呼ばれます。 二階堂に住んでいたときはここから入ることも 多かったけれど、引っ越し後はまれです。 そういえば、流鏑馬の朝練も見ることが難しくなり、 引っ越し後は一度も見ていません。 East Torii Gate Enter from the east torii gate of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. It is the road of Yabusame, Yabusame Baba : Horseback Archery Range. This is the starting point of Yabusame, so it is called 'Babamoto'. which means Horseback Archery base. When we lived in Nikaido, we often entered from here, but it is rare after we moved away. By the way, it became difficult to see Yabusame's morning training, and we have never seen it since we moved. |

| 実朝桜 '実朝桜' がここにあることを初めて知りました。 2011年に植樹されました。 源 実朝 (ミナモトノサネトモ / 1192 - 1219 ) は、 頼朝と政子の次男で、 鎌倉幕府第3代征夷大将軍 (1203 - 1219) です。 甥であり猶子 (ユウシ; 養子のような関係)である 公暁 (クギョウまたはコウキョウ/ 1200 -1219) により暗殺されます。 実朝の首が埋葬されているという秦野市から この桜は寄贈されています。 Sanetomo Cherry Tree : Sanetomo Zakura For the first time, I noticed that 'Sanetomo Cherry Tree' is here. This was planted in 2011. Minamoto no Sanetomo (1192 - 1219) was the second son of Yoritomo and Masako, and was the third Shougun (1203 - 1219) of Kamakura Shogunate. He was assassinated by his nephew, This cherry tree is donated by Hadano City, where it is said Sanetomo's head is buried.  歌人、実朝 実朝は歌人として有名で、小倉百人一首にも選ばれています 彼の句は、複数の場所で碑に刻まれています。 ここには実朝の家集 (歌集)、 『金槐和歌集 (キンカイワカシュウ)』から 「風さわぐをちの外山に雲晴れて桜にくもる春の夜の月」 が紹介されています。 の歌碑にあったと記憶しています。 地位は高くても実権も政治力もない実朝にとって 和歌は、大きな慰めであったことでしょう。 Poet Sanetomo Sanetomo was famous as a Waka poet and has been selected as one of the anthology Ogura Hyakunin Isshu ("100 Poems by 100 Poets") . His Waka Poetry is inscribed on monuments in multiple places. Here, one of "Kinkai Wakashū", a collection of Sanetomo's Waka, is shown in the sign. The Waka relates to a cherry tree. I remember his Waka Poetry in Ogura Hyakunin Isshu is engraved in a monument in Sakanoshita Park [Kamakura Seaside Park / Sakanoshita District]. Waka would have been a great comfort for Sanetomo, who had a high status but no real power or political power. |
C. 源氏池 / Genji Pond
鶴岡八幡宮には源氏池と平家池があります。
私が鎌倉に住み始めた2009年頃には、平家池にはピンクの蓮、源氏池には白い蓮が咲いていました。
いつの頃からか、色別がなくなり、今はミックスされています。
蓮の見頃は、通常、7月から8月上旬です。
私は蓮の見頃の時期を知っているのですが、Rはその頃日本に滞在していなかったので、昨年と今夏に見せてあげたいと思っていました。
けれども両方ともコロナ禍が収まらず、見せてあげることができませんでした。
この日は、見頃の季節には遅いのですが、源氏池をそばまで来たので、行きました。
ほとんど花は見ることができませんでした。
それでもよく探すと1つ、2つは花が咲いていました。

Genji Pond
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine has Genji Pond and Heike Pond.
Around 2009, when I started living in Kamakura, pink lotus bloomed in Heike Pond and white lotus bloomed in Genji Pond.
From some time ago, the different coloured have disappeared and they are now mixed.
The best time to see lotus is usually from July to early August.
I know this is when the lotus is in full bloom, but R hadn't been in Japan at this time, so I wanted to show them last year or this summer.
However, I couldn't show him in either year because the coronavirus crisis did not fit.
This day was late in the best season, but we were close to Genji Pond, so we visited the Pond.
Almost no flowers could be seen.
Still, when I looked carefully, I found one or two flowers that were still in bloom.

| 旗上弁財天社 旗上弁財天社 (ハタアゲベンザイシャ) は 源氏池の中の島にあります。 現在の社(ヤシロ)は、八幡宮創建800年(1980)に、 文政 (1818 -1831) の古図をもとに復元したものです。 Hataage Benzaiten Shrine Hataage Benzaiten Shrine is located on an island in Genji Pond. 八幡様には参道からご挨拶をし、新しくできた八幡様のカフェへ向かいました。
We greeted the Shrine from the approach and headed to the new Shrine Cafe.
