1) 一輪の花 / Single Flower

こんにちは！ジャスミン！
苗を植えた後、何を植えたのか、忘れてしまっていました。
それでも植物は、ゆっくりと成長し、蕾をつけました。
「何が咲くのかしら？」
と思っていました。
花が咲いてもすぐにはわかりませんでしたが、
その香りからジャスミンだとわかりました。
「こんにちは！ジャスミン！」
嬉しかった！
夫Rはジャスミンが好きなので、彼もとても喜んでくれました。

Hello! Jasmine!

After planting the seedlings, I forgot what I planted.

Still, this plant grew slowly and budded.

I was wondering, "What will bloom?"

I didn't know immediately when a flower did bloom,

 though I recognized from the scent that it was jasmine.

"Hello! Jasmine!"

I was delighted!

My husband R likes jasmine, so he too was very pleased.

オダマキ
オダマキの花のシーズンは終わったと思っていました。
が、小さな花が咲きました。
傷だらけの花のようにも見えます。
一生懸命咲いてくれてありがとう！

Aquilegia

I thought Aquilegia (Columbine) flower season was over.

However, a small flower has bloomed.

It looks like a flower full of scratches.

Thank you for your effort to bloom again!

2) 花のドローイング / Flower Drawing

A. 変化 / Change

行く者、来る者
6月8日に紫陽花、他の花を切り、
'花のドローイング' をしました。
その後、傷んだものはのぞき、新しく切った花を加え、
'紫陽花シリーズ' は、毎日変化しています。

Those Who Go, Those Who Come
On 8th of June, I cut hydrangeas and other flowers and
did 'Flower Drawing'.
Later on, the damaged ones are picked out,
 freshly cut flowers are added,
and the 'Hydrangea Series' has been changed every day.

撮影場所を移動しています。
上の写真のリトグラフもこの写真のリトグラフも自作です。
この作品は磁器も使用しています。

The photographing location has moved.
Both the lithograph in the above picture and
the lithograph in this picture are my works.
This work also uses porcelain.

撮影後、花は、家のいくつかの場所へ分けて飾っています。

After photographting, the flowers are displayed
in several parts of the house.

3) ドラゴン神棚 / Dragon Home Shrine

ドラゴン神棚の花も少しづつ変わっています。
The flowers in Dragon Home Shrine are also changing little by little.

現在の主役は、友人、よしざわようこ (パコ)さん作の
ドラゴン(版画)です。

Now the main protagonist is a friend's dragon (print)
by my friend, Yoko Yoshizawa (Paco) 

4) フルーツサラダと本 / Fruit Salad and Book

『辺境のオオカミ』と'ローマ兵士'
現在、私は、ローズマリー・サトクリフ (1920 - 1992)作の
ローマン・ブリテン4部作を読んでいます。
『辺境のオオカミ』は時間上は3番目、
出版年は最後になります。
今回、私は時代に沿って読んでいます。
Rがこのフルーツサラダを運んできてくれた時
「ローマン・ソルジャー (ローマ兵士)!」
と思いました。
ローマ兵士の兜(ヘルメット)を連想させたからです。

"Frontier Wolf" and 'Roman Soldier'

I am currently reading Roman Britain Quadrilogy 

by Rosemary Sutcliff  (1920-1992).

"Frontier Wolf" is the third in the series but the last to be published.

This time, I'm reading following the story sequence.

When R brought me this fruit salad, I thought, 

"Roman Soldier !"

This is because it is reminiscent of a Roman soldier's helmet.
