    A. 鶯 / Japanese Bush Warbler 

鶯 (ウグイス)は、声はするけれどなかなか姿を表さない鳥で、撮影ができませんでした。

けれでも、最近、我が家から見える電線上で、ほぼ毎朝、鳴いてくれる鶯がいて、ほぼ毎日のように撮影できるようになりました。

Japanese Bush  Warbler 

Japanese Bush Warbler has a popular birdsong but does not appear often, so I hadn't been able to photograph.

However, recently, there is a Japanese Bush Warbler which sings almost every morning on a cable that I can see from my house, I can now photograph almost every day.

今日は正面の顔が撮影できました。
Today, I was able to photograph his face.

"ホーホケキョ"
「ここは私のテリトリー！」
という意味で鳴きます。

"Hohokekyo"
He seems to sing
"This is my territory!"

 B. つぐみ / Dusky Thrush 

侵入者
侵入者(?)のつぐみ (鶇)。
鶯らしき鳥がここにやってきてちょっとした戦いがありましたが
ツグミが勝ち、この時は彼はここに居座りました。

Invader
Intruder (?) Dusky Thrush .
A bird that seems to be the warbler came here 
and there was a little battle
The thrush won, and this time he stayed here.

尾羽 

扇子のような尾羽です。

こんな角度で尾羽を見たことがありませんでした。

Tail Feather

It is a tail feather like a fan.

I've never seen tail feathers from such an angle.

2) 花 / Flowers

前回のドローイングに新しい仲間を加えています。
I add new fellows to the previous drawing.

ジャスミンの花が散ったので、それを仲間に加えました。

The jasmine flower has fallen, so I added it to the drawing.

再び
'ピンクのマーガレット'と思っていましたが
'モクシュンギク (木春菊)という和名を
持っていることを今更ながら知りました。
'今更ながら'というのは、我が家に来て8年ほど経つからです。
春に一度満開になり、その後切り戻しをしました。
今、また咲き始めています。

Again
I thought it was 'Pink Marguerite',
but I found out after such a long time
 that it has the Japanese name 'Mokushungiku.
I said "after such a long time",  that is because
it's been about 8 years since it came to our garden.
It was in full bloom once in spring, and then switched back.
Now it is starting to bloom again.

黄色のパンジーは新しい花と交換しています。

Yellow pansies have been changed for new ones.

不思議なこと
庭の白い紫陽花は枯れ始めているのに、
切り取った紫陽花はまだ元気です。
不思議です。

Strange Thing
The white hydrangea in the garden is starting to die,
but the cut hydrangeas are still fine.
It's strange.

花は、枯れ始めています。
Flowers are starting to die.

3) フルーツサラダ / Fruit Salad

"パレット"
夫Rはよくフルーツサラダを作ります。
最近は、私がタイトルをつけていましたが
これは彼が決めていました。
小皿は、水皿、フォークは筆だそうです。
なるほどね、素晴らしい！

"Palette"
My husband R often makes fruit salad.
Recently, I have given titles,
however, he chose this time.
He said that the small plate is a water plate,
 and the forks are brushes.
Indee~d, it's marvelous!
