通常、七里ガ浜住宅街の西友へは、夫Rが行きます。
それは、散歩と買い物が好きな彼にとって、一石二鳥です。
今日は、私も彼の買い物に便乗、目的は運動不足解消です。

Daily Shopping
Usually, husband R goes to Seiyu supermarket in the Shichirigahama residential area.
This is 'Killing Two Birds with One Stone' for him who loves walking and shopping.
Today, I also piggybacked on his shopping, and my purpose was to reduce my lack of exercise.
2) 鎌倉山の植物 / Plants in Kamakurayama

| 木の家とチューリップ 私のお気に入りの木の家を、ここを通る都度に見ます。 前回、1つか2つ咲いていたチューリップが 今日はたくさん咲いていました。 木の家とチューリップの組み合わせは、 景色をより御伽噺の世界に見せてくれます。 Tree House and Tulips I see my favourite tree house every time I pass here. B. ツツジ / Azalea

| 大きな幹の脇から、優しい色合いのツツジが 咲いていました。 Beside the big trunk, azaleas of gentle colours were in bloom.  オレンジ色のツツジはあまり見かけないな〜 と思いつつ撮影しました。 While I thought I don't see many orange azaleas, I photographed. |

| 幹の脇のツツジからその大きさを想像しましたが、 角度を変えて見ると想像を超える大きなツツジでした。 こんなことは他にもあるように思い、 色々と思い巡らしてしまいました。 I imagined its size from the azaleas on this side of the trunk, but when I looked at it from different angles, it was a bigger azalea than I had imagined. I thought there were other situations like this, and I pondered various things. |
C. 竹 / Bamboo
鎌倉山は竹藪がとても多いように思います。
鎌倉山では、木と呼ばれる林、森と竹藪とどちらが多いか私には判断がつきません。

I think Kamakurayama has a lot of bamboo woodland.
In Kamakurayama, I can't tell whether there are more forests consisting of normal trees or more forests of bamboo.

3) 鎌倉山と七里ガ浜の間
Between Kamakurayama and Shichirigahama
鎌倉山から七里ガ浜住宅街へ降りてゆく階段があります。
階段上からは、相模湾が見ます。
いつも、ここにくると相模湾の景色を見るため、足を止め、撮影もします。
私にとって、この行為は、儀式なような気がします。
There are steps that go down from Kamakurayama to the Shichirigahama residential area.
From the top of the steps, you can see Sagami Bay.
Whenever I come here, I stop, look at the scenery of Sagami Bay and take pictures.
For me, this act feels like a ritual.
最近、散歩を始めて、七里ガ浜と鎌倉山の住宅街の境が曖昧になってきていると気がつきました。
(それは山の部分であった土地に住宅が建てられるようになったからだと理解しています。）
ですが、この階段は明確に2つの住宅街の境になっています。
私は、ファンタジー世界が好きです。
ファンタジー世界と現実世界の境という話題によく触れることが多いので、境に興味があります。
橋や門、鳥居に表現される境にも興味があります。
その点から、この階段は私にとって、特別感があります。
Recently, when I started taking a walk, I noticed that the boundary between Shichirigahama residential area and Kamakurayama residential area was becoming blurred.
(I understand that it is because houses are now being built on the land that was part of a mountain.)
However, these steps clearly separate the two residential areas.
I like the world of fantasy.
In fantasy I often come across the topic of the boundary between the fantasy world and the real world, so I am interested in these boundaries.
I am also interested in the boundaries expressed in bridges, gates, and torii gates.
In that respect, these steps have a special feeling for me.
4) 七里ガ浜住宅街
Shichirigahama Residential Area
西友は、七里ガ浜住宅街のほぼ中心にあります。
西友周辺の住宅の多くの庭は、持ち主の個性があり、よく世話をされています。
その庭を見ることは私の楽しみの1つです。

A Seiyu supermarket is located in the centre of the residential area.
Many of the gardens in the houses around Seiyu have their own personality and are well cared for.
Seeing the gardens is one of my pleasures.

| ドウダンツツジ ドウダンツツジ (灯台躑躅)の花を久しぶりに見ました。 私はこの花が好きです。 ドウダンツツジは実家の生垣に使用されています。 この花を見て気がついたのは、花の時期に長い間、 実家へ戻っていないこと言うことでした。 Enkianthus Perulatus I saw the flower of Enkianthus Perulatus for the first time in a long time. I like this flower. Enkianthus Perulatus is used for hedges in my mothers' garden. What I realized when I saw this flower was that I haven't returned to my mothers' house during the flowering season for a long time. |

| 野薔薇 最近、野薔薇 (ノバラ / 野茨 / ノイバラ) が、 日本のバラの代表的な原種だと言うことを 知りました。  Rosa Multiflora : Japanese Rose Nowadays I found out that Rosa Multiflora is a representative species of Japanese roses.  この花がノバラ(ノイバラ)と知ってから、 複数の家で生垣に用いていることに気がつきました。 After I found out that this flower is Rosa Multiflora, I noticed that they are used for hedges in a few gardens. |

| 極楽鳥花 鳥のような植物と思っていましたら名前が 極楽鳥花 (ゴキウラクチョウカ) でした！ Strelitzia : Gokurakusho-ka I thought it was a bird-like plant, later I found out that the name is Gokurakusho-ka in Japanese which means Paradise Bird Flower! English name is Strelitzia.  この花には、目まであるように見えます。 This flower even looks as though it has an eye. |
