2月の結婚記念日旅行に北海道を予定していました。

Rが砕氷船 (サイヒョウセン) に乗りたいと言うので、そのイベントが入っているツアーを探して申し込みました。

そのツアーには流氷上を歩くことも入っていました。

氷や雪の上を歩くためのブーツ購入を考え、北海道出身の友人Kに相談しました。

彼女が勧めてくれた北海道の会社、ミツウマのブーツを購入しました。

I and my husband R were planning to go to Hokkaido for our wedding anniversary trip in February.

R wanted to board an icebreaker, so I searched for a tour that included the event and applied.

The tour also included walking on drift ice.

I consulted with my friend K from Hokkaido, thinking about buying boots for walking on ice and snow.

I bought boots by Mitsuuma Company of Hokkaido, that she recommended.

ブーツはとても気に入りました。
けれども、英国にいるRが予定の日に戻ってくれなくなり、
ツアーはキャンセルしました。
残念！
でも、いつかこのブーツを雪国で使いたいです。

I really like the boots.
However, R in Britain couldn't return on the scheduled date,
and I cancelled the tour.
That's too bad!
But someday I want to use these boots in a snowy country.
