I and R had a walk in Hereford.

| 主教宮殿 : ★ (英語) ヘレフォード大聖堂が聖公会 (英国聖公会 / イングランド国教会)なので、 司教でなく主教としました。 (私は 'Bishop' というと司教とすぐに思ってしまう...) グレート・ホール (大広間) は、12世紀後半に建てられ、 英国で最も古く重要なものの1つです。 Bishops Palace  赤煉瓦の壁は18世紀のものです。  中は広そうですが関係者以外は入れず、見ることはできません。 The inside seems to be wide, but we can't enter . |

可愛いウィンド・ディスプレイ
グイン通りを大聖堂へ向かっていた時に
可愛いウィンド・ディスプレイを見つけました。
おもちゃ屋さんかと思ったら、お花屋さんでした。
Cute Window Display
I found a cute window display
while heading to the cathedral on Gwynne street.
I thought it was a toy shop, although it was a flower shop.
グイン通りは、同じ道でありながら、
プレイス・ヤード通りと名前が変わります。
このお花屋さんは、"キング通り / King Street" とプレイス・ヤード通り
の角にあります。
Gwynne Street is the same street but renamed Place Yard.
This florist is on the corner of King Street and Place Yard.

本物の古い建物ですよね？
ハーフ・ティンバー(木骨造 / 半木骨造)の建物です。 なので、チューダー様式でしょうか？ ハーフ・ティンバー様式とも呼ばれるようです。 世界中で長い間使用されてきた建築方法でなので、 たくさんの形式があり、細かく分類されるそうです。 It ’s a real old building, isn't it?? It is a timber framing building. So is it a Tudor style?
It seems to be called half timber style.
Since it is a construction method that has been used for a long time
all over the world, it seems that there are many forms
and it is classified finely.

3) 教会通り / Church Street
ほぼ大聖堂の正面から、市の中心地へ向かう通りが、"教会通り/ Church Street"です。
私達は、大聖堂見学を終えて、この通りをのんびり歩き出しました。

この通りに入る前から綺麗な音が聞こえていました。 「どこかから曲が聞こえる....」 Church Street
I had heard a beautiful sound before entering this street.
「I can hear the music from somewhere ...」 |
The street from almost in front of the Cathedral to the city centre is "Church Street".
We walked down this street after the cathedral tour.

ハープの音には清らかさがあります。
'大聖堂前の教会通り'のスチュエーションにぴったりでした。
Rと相談して少しのコインを白い袋へ... Live Performance The sound of the harp is pure.
It was perfect for the situation of 'Church Street in front of the cathedral'.
Confirm with R, and put some coins in the white bag ... |
B. カード / Cards
たくさんのカードが販売されていても、1つも買えない時もありますが、この通りの複数店で私好みのカードが見つかり、楽しく選ぶことができました。
そういえば、買ったカードの撮影はしなかった....やがては人の手に渡るので、撮影しておけば良かったと、今、思います。
There are times when many cards are sold, although I cannot buy any, however, here,
I found my favourite styles of cards in multiple shops along this street, and I was able to enjoy selecting them.
Speaking of which, I did not photograph the cards I bought .... they will eventually reach the hands of people, but now I think it should have taken photographs.
C. 飲食店 / Eating and Drinking
食べたり飲んだりが大好きなので、買わなくても、入らなくても、お店の写真は、
たくさん撮ってしまいます。
I love eating and drinking, so I often take photographs of the shops without buying or entering.

チーズ屋さん
チーズ屋さんが好き、チーズ屋さんのディスプレイが好き。
旅先なので多くの場合、チーズは買えないのですが、
時間が少しでもあれば見てしまいます。
Cheese Shop
I like cheese shops, I like cheese shop displays.
In many cases, I can't buy cheese because I am travelling,
but I look in if I have a little time.

D. そのほか / Others

路地、袋小路
路地、袋小路は秘密めいていて好きです。
でもここは、あえて謎めいた雰囲気を薄くしています。
安心して入ってきて欲しいのでしょう。
残念ながら私は撮影だけ...。
Alley or Blind Alley
Alley and blind alley are mysterious and I like them.
But here, they deliberately dilute the mysterious atmosphere.
They want you to come in, with peace of mind.
Unfortunately I just photographed ...
