沖縄の県花、デイゴ (梯梧) は、竹富島では、道路や公共のスペースにあり
一般住宅では、私は見かけませんでした。

The prefectural flower of Okinawa is Erythrina Variegata (Deigo in Japanese)
which are planted along roads and public spaces, 
I did not see it in gardens of general houses in Taketomi Island.

ブーゲンビリアがたくさん咲いている道。

Bougain Street 

There are many Bougainvillea on this street.

竹富島の道は白砂が敷き詰められています。

石垣は、不揃いな琉球石灰岩で積まれています。

手作り感が英国の石垣と似ています。

The roads in Taketomi island are covered with white sand.

Stone Wall : Ishigaki is stacked in irregular Ryukyu limestone.

Its handmade feeling is similar to the stone walls in the UK.

花の名前はわかりません。/ I do not know this flower's name.

多肉植物だと思いますが名前はわかりません。
右端は、テリハボク？

I think it is a succulent plant but I do not know the name.
A plant on the right edge is Calophyllum Inophyllum?

ブーゲンビリア / Bougainvillea

実はココナッツのようですが、葉が違うようなのです。これは何でしょう？

The fruits look like a coconut, although its leaves do not seem to be the coconut.
What is this?

アッ！もしかしたら、パパイア？
 Oh! Maybe Papaya?

何かのお店のようですが、わかりませんでした。
It seems to be something like a shop, but I did not understand.

石垣から生えています。
宇宙の風景っぽい？

They grow from the stone wall.
It is look like a Cosmic Landscape?

ここは、何か特別な場所のように感じます。
儀式がここで行われるような木のレイアウトです。

 I feel here is like a special place.
The trees arrangement is as if for a ceremony.

広場のような場所にデイゴ (梯梧)があります。
There are Deigo in a place like a plaza.
カフェかパブか？/ Cafe or Pub?

アマリリス？ / Amaryllis?

多肉植物？  / Succulent Plant?

右はソテツ？/ Is that Cycas Revoluta : Sotetsu on the right?
