Children's Day takes place on May 5. Landscapes across Japan are decorated with koinobori from April to early May, in honour of sons and in the hope that they will grow up healthy and strong.

風に泳ぐ鯉達

Koinobori are swimming in the Wind.

私がこの鯉のぼりを最初に見たのは、3月の終わりくらいでした。

バス停に向かう道筋の家にありました。

わ〜もう、鯉のぼりが！とびっくりしましたが、こうしてブログに載せるのは6月。

時が経つのは、本当にはやいです。

撮影は４月２３日です。

When I saw them first time, it was the end of March.

They were displayed between our house and the bus stop.

I was surprised, WoW!  Koinobori was already here!, 

although I put these photographs in my blog in June.

Time goes quickly.

I took photographs of them 23rd of April.
