1) 歴史的な建物 / Historical Building
下記、Wiki・'旧居留地十五番館' を参照しました。
旧居留地とは、かつて主に '安政五カ国条約 (1858)' により外国の
治外法権 (チガイホウケン) が及んでいたことのある区域を指します。
重要文化財指定名称は、"旧神戸居留地十五番館"。
現在、建物は、レストラン"TOOTH TOOTH maition 15th'' が使用しています。

"神戸に残る最も古い異人館で国の重要文化財でもある
「旧神戸居留地十五番館」。
十五番館は、1880年（明治13年）頃に完成し、1891年からは約10年間、米国領事館として役目を果たし、その後、いくつかの企業を経て1966年より株式会社ノザワが所有し、本社事務所として使用、1989年に国の重要文化財として指定されました。
1995年の阪神・淡路大震災により全壊しましたが、国、県、市からの補助を受け再建され今に至ります。
建物の外観は、2階の南側にベランダを持つコロニアルスタイルで、 店内の柱から装飾の飾りまで細部にわたり明治初期の外国商館 の趣が伝わってきます。"

Historical Building
The following reference was made to 'Japanese Wiki's 'Kyu-koryuchi No.15'.
The Kyu-kyoryuchi No.15 ( Former Foreign Settlement No.15 ) is a Western-style building in the former settlement in Chuo Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, and was the former United States Consulate.
The Former Foreign Settlement refers to the area where foreign countries once had extraterritorial rights, mainly due to the 'Ansei Treaty (1858)'.
It is the only surviving building from the settlement period (1868-1899) in the 'Former Foreign Settlement', and has been designated a National Important Cultural Property and a Heritage of Industrial Modernization by the national government.
It has been preserved along with the brick walls and stone pillars that marked the block boundaries at the time.
The name of the Important Cultural Property is "Kyu-Kobe Kyoryuchi Jyugo Bankan (Kobe Foreign Settlement No. 15)."
Currently, the building is used by the restaurant "TOOTH TOOTH maition 15th''.
According to the restaurant website ; the history only in Japanese (translated by me)
"The 'Kobe Foreign Settlement No. 15' is the oldest foreign-style building remaining in Kobe and is a National Important Cultural Property.
No.15 was completed around 1880 (Meiji Era 13), and served as the US consulate for about 10 years from 1891.
After that, it was used by several companies, and in 1966 it was owned by Nozawa Co., Ltd. and used as the head office.
In 1989, it was designated as a National Important Cultural Property.
It was completely destroyed in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995, but was rebuilt with assistance from the national, prefectural and municipal governments.
The exterior of the building is in colonial style (colonial architecture) with a balcony on the south side of the second floor, and the atmosphere of a foreign trading house from the early Meiji period is conveyed in every detail, from the pillars inside the store to the decorative ornaments."
According to Japanese Wiki about Colonial Style in Japan,

"A typical example of a Western-style building with a veranda all around, and it is said to have originated from a style originally used in Asian colonies to avoid strong sunlight and improve ventilation."

| 前庭 現在、正面は庭になっており、レストランの入り口は 東側にあります。 Front Garden Currently, the front is a garden, and the restaurant entrance is on the east side.  開店前にIzuとこの前を歩いた時にはしまっていました。 開店後にゲート(柵)は、開放されたようです。 It was closed when Izu and I walked past here before the restaurant opened. The gates (fences) seem to have been opened after the restaurant opened.  |

| レストラン入り口(東側) Restaurant Entrance (east side) 友人Izuと私は、'メリケンパーク' と '神戸外国人居留地' (コウベガイコクジンキョリュウチ) 散策後、 レストラン・"TOOTH TOOTH maition 15th'' まで来ました。 レストラン前で、友人Mと会い、3人で記念写真を撮影し、 入店しました。  レストラン入り口(東側) Restaurant Entrance (east side) After strolling around 'Meriken Park' and 'Kobe Foreign Settlement', my friend Izu and I came to the restaurant "TOOTH TOOTH maition 15th". We met our friend M in front of the restaurant, took a commemorative photo of us, and then went inside. |

予約時間は、レストランの開店時間、11:00、私達が席に着いた時には、ほかのお客さん達がいませんでした。
この機会を利用して、周囲を撮影しました。
素敵な雰囲気です。
Our reservation time was 11:00, the restaurant's opening time, and when we sat down there were no other customers there.
I took the opportunity to take some photos of the surroundings.
The atmosphere was lovely.

4) 食事 / Meal
私達は、ランチコースメニューから、それぞれ1つ選びました。
ここのシステムとして、ワンドリンク注文は必須で、私は白ワイン、IzuとMはノンアルコールを注文しました。
We each chose one item from the lunch course menu.
The system here requires you to order one drink, so I ordered a glass of white wine and Izu and M ordered non-alcoholic drinks.
友人とともに、素敵なレストランで、洋食の食事をとるのがとても久しぶりでした。
ミニ女子会のようで、楽しく、嬉しく感じました。
誰かのアレルギーをウエイターさんに細かく説明する煩わしさもなく、食事が実際に食べることができるのかを心配することもなく、リラックスして食事ができる幸せも感じました。
It had been a long time since I had eaten Western food with friends in a lovely restaurant.
It was like a mini girls' get-together, and I enjoyed this very much.
I felt happy being able to relax and dine without the hassle of having to explain in detail someone's allergies to the waiter, or worrying about whether the food was actually edible.

私は比較的甘いものが苦手なので、デザートは選びはしましたが、一口味見をして、あとは二人に食べてもらいました。

I'm not a big fan of sweet things, so I chose dessert, but I only had one bite and let the other two eat the rest.

追記 ; 2025年2月25日
'TOOTH TOOTH maition 15th''は、2024年6月2日に、閉店し、6月20日に
パティスリー＆ティーブティック「Salon 15 TOOTH TOOTH 旧神戸居留地十五番館」としてレニューアルオープンしました。
私達が食事をした1階は、お菓子と紅茶のショップ: 'ブティック'になり、2階は、カフェ・レストラン: 'サロン'になっています。
Postscript ; 25th of February, 2025
"TOOTH TOOTH maition 15th" closed on 2nd of June, 2024, and reopened on 20th of June as the patisserie and tea boutique "Salon 15 TOOTH TOOTH Former Kobe Foreign Settlement No. 15".
The ground floor, where we ate, is now a sweets and tea shop : 'Boutique', and the first floor is a cafe and restaurant : 'Salon'.
