1) 本多公園 / Honda Park
合わせをしました。
二人で、いくつかの展覧会を見て、
21美から向かうと、本多公園を通ります。
公園は、旧中村邸、鈴木大拙館、金沢市立中村記念美術館も隣接しているので、それらの建物も眺めつつ歩きました。
旧中村邸、金沢市立中村記念美術館は、明日訪ねる予定です。

Honda Park
At the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, : ★ : 21bi, I met up with my friend, S Chan, who lives in Kanazawa.
The two of us went to see some exhibitions and headed to Shofukaku Garden : ★.
Heading from 21bi we pass through Honda Park.
Honda Park is where many samurai residences belonged to the Honda Clan (Honda Family), chief retainers of the Kaga Domain.
Shofukaku Garden is the former Honda Clan garden.
The park is also adjacent to the Former Nakamura House,
D. T. Suzuki Museum, and Kanazawa Nakamura Memorial Museum, so we walked while looking at those buildings.
We visited D.T. Suzuki Museum after the Garden.
I plan to visit the Former Nakamura House and the Kanazawa City Nakamura Memorial Museum of Art tomorrow.

| 緑の小径 公園には、石川県立美術館近くに、 '美術の小径'というのもあります。 石川県立美術館は、本多氏の上屋敷が あった地に建てられています。 旧中村家と上屋敷へつながる登り道は "歴史の小径"と呼ばれています。 Midori-no-Komichi Path The park also has an 'Bijutu-no-Komichi : Art Path' near the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art. Sちゃんから、金沢の新たな現代アート美術館
「カムカナザワ / KAMU Kanazawa」★を教えてもらいました。
そこが企画した新プロジェクト・'TOWN HACKER' の第一弾が、
この大きな青い足、"泥足" (ドロアシ) でした。
この企画は、金沢市と連携した「公共空間活用促進モデル事業」の
1つでもあります。
作家は、久保 寛子 (クボ ヒロコ / 1987 ~)さんです。
久保寛子さんの名前を知ったのも、作品を見たのも初めてでした。
巨大な足が、'この環境に突然現れる’ ことが、頭や心を活性化させ、それが現代アートの目指す、アートの役割なのだと理解します。
野外に展示されるものは、耐久性が求められ、作品は、多少、ゴツい印象になるのでしょう。
そのごつさも特徴の1つなのかもしれません。
Giant Feet
S Chan told me about KAMU Kanazawa : ★, a new contemporary art museum in Kanazawa.
The first project of the new project 'TOWN HACKER' planned by them was this big blue foot, 'Mud Feet : Doroashi'.
This project is also one of the "Public Space Utilization Promotion Model Projects" in collaboration with Kanazawa City.
The artist is Hiroko Kubo (1987 ~).
It was the first time for me to know Hiroko Kubo's name and to see her work.
The 'sudden appearance of a giant feet in this environment' activates our mind and heart, and I understand that this is the role of art that contemporary art is aiming for.
Items displayed outdoors are required to be durable, and the work may have a somewhat rugged impression.
The roughness may be one of its characteristics.

後日、本多公園の展示は、現代アート美術館 "カムカナザワ / KAMU Kanazawa" : ★の6つの展示スペースの1つであることがわかりました。

About "Reflection", below.
2012年の時は、作家名も作品名もわかりませんでしたが、今では、私が検索できるようになり、作家は、スゥ・ドホ (ス・ドホ)
SUH, Do Ho (1962~) 、作品名もわかりました。
21美で、
2012年11月23日 - 2013年3月17日
に開催されていました。
スゥ・ドホの作品は、屋内展示なので、繊細さが保たれます。
もちろん、それは彼のセンスがあってこそです。
久保は、屋内または保護される中にあるものを屋外作品として制作し、スゥ・ドホは、屋外にある頑丈なものを屋内で繊細な材質を用いて作品制作をしています。
彼らの本来の自分や己の民族性を追求する方向は、似ているように感じます。
双方とも、既成概念をやぶり、私たちを活性化させます。
好みからいうと、私は彼の作品の方が好きですが、金沢の地で、久保さんの作品と出会えたことも嬉しいですし、スゥ・ドホの名前がわかったのも、"泥足"のおかげです。
久保さん、ありがとうございました。
これからの久保さんの屋外作品の展開も楽しみです。

Reflection
'Mud Feet' reminded me of the work "Reflection" (2004 / 2007) that was exhibited when I had visited the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo in 2008 and 2012.
About "Reflection", below.
In 2012, I didn't know the name of the artist or the title of the work, but today, I was able to search for them, and I found the artist is
SUH, Do Ho (1962~) and the title of the work.
21bi held
(23rd of Nov. 2012 - 17th of March, 2013).
Suh Do-ho's works are displayed indoors, so they can keep their delicacy.
Of course, it's only because of his taste.
Kubo creates outdoor works that are indoors or protected, Suh Do Ho creates works indoors using delicate materials from sturdy outdoor objects.
I feel that the direction in which they pursue their original selves and their own ethnicity is similar.
Both break the stereotype and invigorate us.
In terms of taste, I prefer his works, but I am happy that I was able to meet Kubo's work in Kanazawa and it is thanks to "'Mud Feet" that
I found out Su Do Ho's name.
Thank you very much, Kubo.
I am looking forward to the future development of Kubo's outdoor works.
