夫Rの渡英が近いので、鎌倉の友人N家が訪ねてきてくれました。
英国へのお土産も含め、ありがとうございました。
私はよく撮影をしますが、プライベトーな集まりや訪問などの際には撮影をほぼしません。
なので、この時もしませんでした。
本当に大切なことは心に撮影するということでしょうか？
ですが、最近は、その能力も落ち気味なので、じょじょにカメラの力に一層頼ってゆくのかもしれません。
4th of June
My husband R would go to Britain soon, our friends N family in Kamakura came to visit him.
Thank you very much, including the souvenirs for Britain.
I do a lot of photography, but rarely during private gatherings or visits.
So I didn't photograph this time either.
It is really important to photograph in my heart, isn't it?
However, recently, that ability is on the decline, so I may be relying more and more on the power of the camera.
2) 忍者ビール - 6月6日
Ninjya Beer - 6th of June
明日がRの渡英日です。
彼は、通常1年に何回か英国と日本を行き来していましたが、コロナのために日本に2年以上住みました。
今まで一番長く日本で過ごしました。
英国へは、久しぶりの帰国になります。
3年前くらいに、いつも利用していた英国便の出発時間が早い時間に変わりました。
なので、前日は羽田のホテルに泊まるようにしています。
私は2年に1度個展を開催し、開催した後、英国の家を訪ねます。
その家を拠点とし、英国やほかの国へも旅行します。
ですが今年は、彼の仕事の関係や、英国の家を貸し出してしまっていることなどを理由とし、日本にとどまることになりました。
彼がいつ日本に戻ってくるかわからず、私は日本にいます。
かなり長い間、それぞれの時間をそれぞれに過ごすことになります
彼が名前に惹かれて購入していたビールを開けて、残りわずかな二人の時間を過ごしました。

Ninjya Beer - 6th of June
Tomorrow was the day that R would go Britain.
He normally travels between Britain and Japan several times a year, but due to Corona he has lived in Japan for over two years.
He has spent the longest time in Japan so far.
This would be his first time back in Britain.
About three years ago, the departure time of the UK flight that he always used changed to an earlier time.
So, he tries to stay in a hotel in Haneda the day before.
I hold my exhibition once every two years, and after the exhibition, I visit our home in Britain.
When based in the house, we also travel in Britain and to other countries.
This year, however, I decided to stay in Japan due to his work and the fact that he has rented out our house in Britain.
I don't know when he will come back to Japan, and I've been in Japan.
For quite a long time, we will spend time on our own.
We opened the beer he had bought because he was attracted to its name, and spent the last few minutes of our time together.

| 無事に英国へ到着しますように！ そう願いつつ、'忍者ビール'を飲む状況は、 彼がなんとなくスパイに行くような意味合いに感じられます。 でも彼は生粋の英国人です! May you arrive safely in Britain! With that in mind, the situation where he drinks 'Ninja Beer' makes me feel like he's going to be a spy. But he is a native Englishman! |
英国への無事到着だけでなく、彼の国で元気に過ごせるように願っています。
(実は、彼は１ヶ月後にコロナに感染しました。軽症であったのはよかったです)
I wish he has a safe arrival in Britain and also he will be well in his country.
(In fact, he contracted Corona a month later. I'm glad it was mild.)
