往路については前回 (下記)。
工房へ着くと、庭にY先生が出ていました。
先生は、自分の鉢のいくつかを見せ説明してくれました。
Sensei's Pots
I looked at spring plants and photographed, while I went to the lithograph studio in Ōmachi, Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture.
About my way to the studio is in the previous section, below.
When I arrived at the studio, Y Sensei was in his garden.
He showed me and explained about some of his pots.

| 蕗の薹 先生に 「これが蕗の薹 (フキノトウ)」 と言われなければ、わかりませんでした。 蕗の薹が土にある状態を見るのは珍しいです。 この蕗の薹は鉢にありましたが、近くの地面にもありました。 Fuki Shoot : Japanese Butterbur Sprout I didn't notice it until Y Sensei said, "This is 'Fuki Shoot'." It is rare to see the Fuki Shoot in the soil. This Fuki Shoot was in the pot, but others were on the ground nearby as well. |

| つくし つくし (土筆、筆頭菜) が鉢に生えているところを 初めて見ました。 Horsetail : Tsukushi For the first time, I saw Horsetail : Tsukushi growing in a pot.  筆か、しっぽか? 漢字の '土筆' は、写真のこの部分が筆に似ているところから 当てられたそうです。 英語の '馬のしっぽ' : Horsetail も、 なるほど〜というネーミングです。 Is it a Brush or a Tail? The Kanji character name , '土筆' : Soil Brush' is said to have been given from this part in the photograph being similar to a brush. It is also named Horsetail in English, Indee~d. |

| クロッカス 工房へくる途中で、'赤ちゃんクロッカス' を見ました。 このクロッカスは、青春を謳歌しています。 Crocus On the way to the studio, I saw 'Baby Crocus'. This crocus enjoys its youth. |

| チューリップ まだ花は咲いていませんが、葉は成長しています。 チューリップの鉢だけ、以前から知っていました。 Tulip The flowers haven't bloomed yet, but the leaves are growing. These were the only plants I have known. |
2) 作品 / Work
現在、個展に出品する最後のシリーズの制作にかかっています。
今日は、そのシリーズの2版目を刷りました。
リトグラフ版の作り方はいくつかあります。
その中で、私の好きな感じにできる墨版は、絵柄が崩れやすいので、一日に多くをすることができません。
今回の個展のためにリトグラフには和紙を初めて使用しています。
さまざまな条件が、私にとっては、通常よりも刷りが難しく、苦戦しています。

Work
Currently, I am working on the final series to be exhibited in my exhibition.
Today I printed the second plate of the series.
There are several ways to make a lithograph plate.
Among them, it is the ink plate method, that makes my favourite feeling, however, the plate is fragile, so I can not do many in a day.
For this exhibition, for the first time, I am using Japanese paper : Washi for the lithographs.
Various factors are harder for me to print than usual and I am struggling.
