1) ムーンケーキ /Moon-cake

| ムーンケーキ りんごをキャラメライズして焼いたアップルケーキです。 このケーキを'ムーンケーキ'と名付けました。 のちに月の撮影 (下の画像) をして、ケーキと月の表面が 似ているように感じたからです。 (11月14日) Moon-cake An apple cake made by caramelizing and baking apples. I named this cake the 'Moon-cake'. Later, when I took a picture of the Moon, below, I felt that the surface of the moon was similar to that of the cake. | 飲み物を添えて 夫Rは紅茶、私は赤ワインと一緒にムーンケーキを食べました。 Rが常用しているマグは、 英国のジョージ王子 (2013 ~) 誕生記念のものです。 マグの取っ手が大きくて使いやすいそうです。 購入時は、まさかこのマグがRのものになるとは 思ってもいませんでした (笑)。 Serve with Drink My husband R ate Moon-cake with tea and I ate it with red wine.The mug that he regularly uses is to commemorate the birth of Prince George (2013 ~) in Britain. He said the handle of the mug is big and easy to use. At the time of purchase, I never thought that this mug would be his (Laugh).  |
2) 紅葉パスタ / Maple Pasta

| 紅葉パスタ・サラダ にんじんサラダ・ビーツ・アボガド・ポテトサラダなどな どたくさんの盛り合わせサラダです。 でもこのサラダの主役は、トッピング扱いの紅葉パスタです。 (11月14日) Maple Pasta Salad A lot of assorted salads such as carrot salad, beets, avocado, potato salad and so on. But the main protagonist of this salad is the Maple Pasta, which is treated as a topping. (14th of November) |
3) 朝焼け / Sunrise

| 朝焼け 久しぶりに朝焼けの撮影をしました。 '朝焼け'に適する英語が見つけられません... 仕方なく、日の出の意味の 'sunrise' を用います。 日の出は太陽そのものが姿を表すときで、 朝焼けは朝の太陽による光の風景であると思います。 (11月16日) Sunrise : Asayake I photographed the sunrise for the first time after a long time. I can't find the right English for Asayake in Japanese... There is no choice but to use 'sunrise': Hinode in Japanese. I think that Hinode is when the sun itself appears, and Asayake is a landscape of light by the morning sun. (16th of November)  朝焼けは高揚感を与えてくれます。 The sunrise gives an uplifting feeling. |

4) 秋の鶯 / Japanese Bush Warbler in Autumn

| 秋の鶯 鶯ですよね？ 庭で鶯を撮影できたのは初めてです。 嬉しいです。 夏の早朝に、ホーホケキョという鶯の声を聞きましたが 最近は全く聞いていません。 季節が違うとホーホケキョとは鳴かないようです。 なので、鶯が鳴いたとしてもそれが鶯の声だとは わからないのです。 (11月16日) Japanese Bush Warbler in Autumn This is a Japanese Bush Warbler, right? This is the first time I have been able to photograph Japanese Bush Warbler in our garden. I'm happy. In the early summer morning, I heard bird songs by the Warbler ; 'Hohokekyo'. I haven't heard any these days. Japanese Bush Warbler doesn't seem to sing like 'Hohokekyo' in all seasons. Therefore, even if the Warbler sings, we don't recognize that it is the Warbler's song. (16th of November)  可愛らしい！/ Lovely! |
5) '雪の結晶' 到着 / Arrival of 'Snowflake'

| 到着 シンガポールから小荷物が届きました。 シンガポールの何かを注文した記憶がなく不審に思いました。 'SWAROIVSKI' (スワロブスキー) という表記で、 クリスマスオーナメントの雪の結晶であると気がつきました。 昨年もスワロブスキーの公式サイトから注文しましたが スイスから届きました。 今年はシンガポールから....。 (11月17日) Ariival I received a small parcel from Singapore. I was suspicious because I didn't remember ordering anything from Singapore. I realized that it was a 'Snowflake' Christmas ornament from the mention on the outside, SWAROVSKI. Lsat year I also ordered from the official website of Swarovski, but it arrived from Switzerland. This year from Singapore .... (17th of November) |

| 驚きのピンク スワロブスキーは、紺というイメージでしたが、 箱の中とシールはピンクでした。 Surprising Pink The image of Swarovski was navy blue, but the inside of the box and the sticker are pink. |

6) クリスマス準備 / Christmas Preparation
A. 友人来訪に合わせて/ For Friend's Visit
11月25日に英国に住んでいる友人Miさんが訪ねてきます。
彼女は8月末から日本に来て実家の仕事をし、渡英前に我が家へ寄ってくれる予定を立てていました。
彼女をクリスマスデコレーションで迎えようと思い、いつもよりもずっと早くクリスマス準備を始めました。
私は自分の個展準備があるので、Rが主にこの作業をしてくれます。

| クリスマス・ライト クリスマスライトはRの最も好きなデコレーションだと思います。 私からするとおしゃれ度に欠けますが、 家庭的なクリスマスの雰囲気がするように思います。 何はともあれ、Rが嬉しい気持ち、明るい気持ちをライトと 共に持ち続けることが良いように感じます。 (11月17日) Christmas Lights I think Christmas lights are R's favourite decoration. From my point of view, it's not fashionable, but I think it has a homely Christmas atmosphere. Anyway, I feel that it is good for R to keep feeling happy and cheerful with the lights. (17th of November) |
For Friend's Visit
Our friend Mi who lives in Britain, would visit us on November 25th.
She came to Japan from Britain at the end of August to work at her parents' house, and she planned to visit us before returning to Britain.
We wanted to welcome her with Christmas decorations and we started preparing for Christmas much earlier than usual.
I am preparing for my exhibition, so R mainly would do this work.
B. 2つのクリスマスツリー
Two Christmas Trees
'雪の結晶' のコレクションがだいぶ増えたので、昨年大きなクリスマスツリー (下の写真左) を購入しました。
それまでコレクション用に使用していたツリー (右) は廃棄する予定でした。
が、昨年、並んだ2つのツリーが親子に思え捨てることができませんでした。
結局そのツリーは、今年は玄関で使用することにしました (苦笑)。
例年玄関に使用していた小さなツリーは使用せず、箱の中です。

Two Christmas Trees
We bought a big Christmas tree (above left) last year as the collection of 'Snowflakes' has grown so much.
The tree (right) that was previously used for the collection was planned to be discarded.
But last year, the two trees lined up seemed to be like a parent and child and we couldn't throw away.
After all, we decided to use the tree in our entrance this year (Wry Smile).
We are not using the small tree that we used to have in the entrance every year, so it remains inside the box.
