英国人の夫Rは、COVID-19のために、昨年、日本の夏を初めて経験しました。
今年の夏も彼の意に反して、日本滞在をすることになり、大好きな外出もほぼできません。
庭の世話が彼の在宅の楽しみの大半を占めるようになりました。
彼の楽しみを増やすためにミニトマトの苗を購入し、４鉢で育てています。

Treasure Mini Tomato
British husband R experienced Japan's summer for the first time last year for COVID-19.
Contrary to his wishes, he will be staying in Japan this summer, and he can hardly go out, which he loves.
Garden care has become a major part of his enjoyment at home.
To increase his enjoyment, I bought mini tomato seedlings and we grow them in four pots.

| お供え 食べる前にドラゴン神棚にお供えしました。 私が3つとも半分に切って、私とRで食べました。 私が切らなければ、Rは決して食べようとしないと思います。 もちろん、美味しいに決まっています。 皮は硬めで、素人の手作り感があります。 Offerings I offered them to the Dragon Kamidana : Dragon Home Shrine before eating. If I don't cut, I think R will never eat. The skin is hard and has an amateur handmade feel. |

| 栗 今年は昨年よりも実をつけています。 でも小ぶりなのがちょっと心配。 まだ青い実なのによく地面に落ちているのも心配。 Sweet Chestnut This year is more fruitful than last year. But I'm a little worried that they look small. I'm worried that while the fruit is still green a few for on the ground. |

| ナデシコ復活 黄色のパンジーは花の盛りが過ぎてしまったのか、 手入れがよくないのかこんな状態です。 ですがナデシコは春に咲いた時よりずっと元気に、 たくさんの花をつけていて嬉しい。 Resurrection of Dianthus The yellow pansies are in such a state whether the flowers have finished or they are not well maintained. However, the dianthus is much more energetic and has many more flowers than when it bloomed in spring, and I am happy. |

2020オリンピック・セーリング競技場となっている海なので、巡視船や競技準備の船が行き交っています。
我が家からは、肉眼では詳細がわかりませんが、カメラのズームを使うとある程度見ることができます。

| いろいろなセーリング競技 Various Sailing Competitions  実は私達は二人とも船(小型船)には弱いのです。 ですが家の近くで、セーリング競技が行われ、 家から競技中の帆が見えそうなので、オリンピック競技の中で、 セーリング競技が最も興味を持っています。 In fact, we are both vulnerable to boats. However, there are sailing competitions near our house, and we might see the sails during the competition from our house. Of all the Olympic games, sailing is the most interesting for us. |
