英国留学中に英国にはセミがいないことを知って驚きました。
大家さんのTから聞いたと記憶しています。
余談ですが、英国にはカマキリもいません。
世界に約3,000種類のセミがいて、英国には1種類だけ生息していると最近知りました。
セミのいない国の人のために、セミの声を録画しようとビデオのスイッチを入れました。
ニイニイゼミ、機械音などがミックスされていました。
私が聞き取れない音、知らない種類の音も入っているかもしれません。
聞き取れない音といえば、'虫の声'を聞き取ることができるのは、
日本人とポリネシア人であると最近知りました。
日本人は虫の声を左脳で認知し、言語として処理し、他の民族は右脳で認知し、雑音として処理するのだそうです。
原因は環境で、民族の資質ではないとのことです。
これを研究したのは、角田 忠信 (ツノダタ ダノブ / 1926 ~) 教授で、彼のキューバ での体験がきっかけになっています。
この研究は世界的に認められているのかわかりませんが、聞くと、
なるほど〜と納得してしまいますし、面白いな〜とも思います。
ヒグラシを除いて、私はセミの声に風流さは感じませんが、'秋の虫の声' には古来からの日本文化を感じます。
(ほとんどのセミの声は日本の夏の暑さと結びつき、情緒感を持てないのです）
この感覚を持てて、日本人でよかったと思います。

For Countries Without Cicadas
While studying in Britain, I was surprised to find that there are no cicadas in Britain.
I remember hearing from the landlord T.
As an aside, there are no preying-mantis in Britain.
Recently I found out that there are about 3,000 species of cicadas in the world and only one species is found in Britain.
For people in countries without cicadas, I switched on the video to record the voice of cicadas.
A mixture of Chinese Hwamei, crows, Hyalessa Maculaticus, Tanna Japonensis, Platypleura Kaempferi, and mechanical sounds.
There may be sounds that I can't hear, or sounds that I don't know.
Speaking of inaudible sounds, I recently found that it is the Japanese and Polynesians who can hear 'Insect Voices'. or 'Insect Sounds'.
The Japanese recognize 'Insect Voices' in the left brain and process it as a language, and other peoples recognize it in the right brain and process it as noise.
The cause is the environment, not the qualities of the people.
This was studied by Professor Tadanobu Tsunoda (1926 ~), which began from his experience in Cuba and led to his study.
I don't know if this research is recognized worldwide, but when I hear this, I feel indee~d and it's interesting.
With the exception of Tanna Japonensis, I don't feel a cicada's voice as good mood, but I feel the 'Autumn Bug's Voice' has a Japanese ancient culture.
('Bug' vocabulary shows Western's negative feeling for insects.)
I'm glad I am Japanese with this feeling.

| 猛禽類のトンビ 鎌倉に住んでいれば、トンビは珍しい鳥ではありません。 ですが動きがある姿を撮影するのは難しいのです... 少なくとも私には。 これは運良く撮影できました。 Raptors, 'Black Kite' If you live in Kamakura, 'Black Kite' is not a rare bird. However, it is difficult to photograph a moving figure, at least for me. Luckily I could photograph this one. |

B. 動画 / Videos
最近になって、ようやくi-phoneのビデオ機能を使い始めました。
生活音があまりなく、鳥達の声がよくするので、早朝に録画することが多いです。
この頃はセミの声 (ニイニイゼミ) が継続し、その上に時々鳥の声がのります。
最近、鶯の声が少なくなり、ガビチョウが我が物顔 (?) で歌っています。
朝の空気の中で、遠くの自動車やバイク音が長く聞こえ、びっくりもします。

Recently, I finally started using the video function of i-phone.
I often record early in the morning because there aren't many daily life noises and birds' songs are frequent.
Around this time of year, the voice of a cicada (Platypleura Kaempferi) continues, and sometimes the voice of a bird song joins.
I am surprised that even for distant cars and motorcycles, their sound can be heard for a long time in the air morning.

最初にトンビの声が録音できたので、次を待っていましたが、鳴かないままここを飛び立ってしまいました。
トンビの声を待つ間にカラスと鶯の声がします。
I was able to record a Black Kite call first, I was waiting for his next one, but he took off without calling.
While waiting for the voice of the black kite, the voice of the crow and the warbler is heard.
C. モヒート / Mojito
実は私と夫Rは"モヒート"というカクテルを今年3月に知りました。
七里ヶ浜のアマルフィ・カフェ / amalfi CAFFE : ★で、Rは初めて"モヒート"を飲み、気に入ったようでした。
のちに、比較的簡単に作れるようだと知り、今日作ってみました。

Mojito
Actually, I and my husband R found out about a cocktail, called "Mojito" in March this year.
R had a glass of "Mojito" for the first time in amalfi CAFFE : ★ in Shichirigahama and seemed to like it.
Later I found out that it seemed to be relatively easy to make and
I tried making it today.

モヒート 美味しく飲みました。 'アマルフィ・カフェ'のものよりもかなりアルコール度数は 高い気がします、ふっふっふっ。 甘めのカクテルなので、Rの方が私よりも気に入ったようでした。 私は一杯、彼は二杯飲みました。 彼はこの夏、何度も飲みたいそうです。 Mojito We drank them deliciously. I feel that the alcohol content is considerably higher than that by 'amalfi CAFFE', ha ,ha, ha. It's a sweet cocktail, so R seemed to like it more than me. I drank a glass and he drank two glasses. He said he wanted to drink many times this summer. |

| ウルトラマン・グラスとバカルディ ウルトラマンの 'シュワッチ' がこのカクテルに合うと 思い、このグラスを使用しました。 4,5年ぶりに使いました。 言うまでもなく、 'シュワッチ' はスペシウム光線の音です。 ラムは、モヒートのレシピでおすすめのバカルディを選び、 購入しました。 モヒートを飲んだ後に撮影しました。 Ultraman Glass and Bacardi I used this glass because I thought 'SHWATCH' by Ultraman would suit this cocktail. I used this for the first time in 4 or 5 years. Needless to say (in Japan), 'SHWATCH' is the sound of 'SPECIUM BEAM' : ★. Recipes recommend Bacardi as the Rum for this cocktail and I bought it.
