A. スコーン / Scones

とてもとても久しぶりにスコーンを作りました。

夫Rのリクエストでした。

焼く前
刷毛でミルクをつけてオーブンへ。

Before Baking
Apply milk with a brush and go into the oven.

Scones

I made scones for the first time in a long time.

It was a request of my husband R.

焼いた後 
プレーンとレーズン入りの2種類を作りました。
レーズンは友人手作りの梅酒に漬けを使用。

After Baking
I made two types, plain and with raisins.
The raisins were pickled in Japanese plum wine handmade
by my friends.

梅ジャムとクリームチーズと一緒に。
梅ジャムはお隣のKさんお手製。

With Japanese plum (Ume) jam and cream cheese.
The plum jam is handmade by K San, next door.

小さなスコーン、大きな幸せ
最初はRだけ食べました。
のちに私も食べました。
美味しい！

Small Scones, Big Happiness 
At first only R ate.
Later I ate too.
Delicious!

B. アゲハ蝶 / Swallowtail Butterfly

大きなクロアゲハ
クロアゲハ(黒揚羽)、カラスアゲハ(烏揚羽)は
遠目には同じように見えます。
これは、クロアゲハでした。
アゲハ蝶類は大きいけれど、この蝶は
その中でもかなりの大きさに感じました。

Big Spangle
Spangle and Common Peacock look the same at a distance.
This is Spangle.
Though Swallowtail Butterfly group is large, 
I felt this butterfly was quite large in the group.

痛々しい...
PCの写真で右羽が切れているのがわかりました。
片羽は正常のようでよかったです。
長生きできるといいのですが...。

Pitiful...
In the photographs in my PC, 
I could see that the right wing is damaged.
It is good that the other wing seems to be normal.
I hope this can live longer ...

I'm surprised that the cut hydrangeas are still fine.

The hydrangea in our garden is already brown ...

小さなカラフルな花たちは入れ替えしています。

The small colorful flowers are being replaced.
