1) 海が見たくて
I Want to Go Down to the Sea
2021年になり、一度も海を見ていませんでした。
ラッキーなことに、自宅からは、天気次第で、海を見ることが可能なので、'一度も海を見ていません' と言うのは正確ではありません。
'海に行く'と言う方が正確かもですね。
ですが、私としては気持ち的には、海が見たくて、七里ヶ浜へ行きました。
七里ヶ浜は、自宅から徒歩で行ける、良いお散歩コースにあります。
お天気は、すこぶる良い日、ですが、風が強い日でした。
夫Rが水筒にカフェオレを準備して、一緒に出かけました。

I Want to Go Down to the Sea
In 2021, I hadn't seen the sea.
Luckily is that I can see the sea from our home, depending on the weather, so it's not accurate to say 'I hadn't seen the sea'.
It may be more accurate to say "been to the sea".
However, for my feeling, I wanted to see the sea, so I went to Shichirigahama Beach.
The weather was very nice, but it was a windy day.
My husband R prepared cafe au lait in a flask and went out together.
2) 鎌倉山 / Kamakurayama

| 木の家 木の家は、鎌倉山の私達のお散歩コースにあり、 よく撮影します。 Wooden House The wooden house is on our walking route in Kamakurayama, I often photograph.  この木の家よりも立派な木の家を見たことがありません。 ここだけ御伽噺の世界のようです。 I've never seen a better wooden house than this one. Just here is like the world of fairy tales. |

| 鎌倉山からの相模湾 今日は海が全面キラキラ、眩しい！ Sagami Bay from Kamakurayama The sea is shining and dazzling today! |

| 合計で100段以上の階段を上り下りする散歩コース。 この階段は53段。 いつも帰りが、辛いです。 A walking route that goes down and up steps with a total of more than 100 steps. This rise has 53 steps. It's always difficult to go home. |
3) 七里ヶ浜住宅街

| 黄色い花 木瓜 (ボケ)でしょうか？ 木瓜の黄色い花は珍しく感じます。 蝋梅 (ロウバイ)かもしれません。 Yellow Flowers Is it a Japanese Quince? The yellow flowers of quince feel unusual. It may be Japanese Allspice.  |

| 七校通り 鎌倉プリンスホテル前の道が、'七校通り (シチコウドオリ)' と呼ばれていることを初めて知りました。 海近くの右に、県立七里ガ浜高等学校があります。 いつもなら、ここから海が道の先に見えますが、 今日が反射が強すぎて見えません。 Shichikō Street is called 'Shichikō Street' Prefectural Shichirigahama High School (Shichikō) is on the right near the sea. Normally, I can see the sea at the end of the road from here, I can't see today because the reflection is too strong.  こんなに海に近くなっても、はっきり見えません。 I can't see clearly even though it's so close to the sea. |

| 浜辺に続く階段 階段下に波が寄せて下へは降りられません。 ここは風がものすご〜く強いです。 Steps Leading to Beach Waves are coming to the steps and I can't go down. The wind is very strong here. |

| 波が荒い！ 塩の粒が飛び、光を反射しているせいなのか、 写真のずべてモヤがかかっているようになります。 Waves are Rough! Maybe because the salt particles are flying and reflecting light, all photographs appear to be hazy. |

| 腰越方面 腰越漁港（コシゴエギョコウ)があります。 私達は一度も行ったことがありません。 Towards Koshigoe There is Koshigoe fishing port. We have never been there.  漁港は、防波堤がある、あの辺でしょうか？ Is the fishing port in that area where there is a breakwater? |

| 逗子方面 浜辺は歩けないので、駐車場を由比ヶ浜方面 (東) に歩きました。 Towards Zushi We couldn't walk on the beach, so we walked in the parking toward Yuigahama beach (East). |

| 海蝕 (カイショク)が進んで危険になったのでしょうか？ 新しいコンクリートの壁が建設中です。 こんなふうに作られるのかと興味をもちました。 ショベルカーの向こうに見えるのは稲村ヶ崎です。 Did the sea erosion progress and become dangerous? A new concrete wall is under construction. I was interested in how it would be made like this. Inamuragasaki is visible beyond the excavators.  Rは狭いところで細かい作業をする ショベルカーに感嘆！ R admires excavators that do detailed work in a narrow space. |

| 砂が黒いのは、地中の砂鉄のためだと聞きました。 I heard that the black sand is due to the iron sand in the ground. |

| チドリ？セキレイ？ チドリ類の1つかと思いましたが、セキレイでしょう！ |

| 江ノ電 藤沢方面 (左) に向かっています。 前2両は、"10形" で、1997年に開通95周年を記念して 造られました。 'レトロ⾞両' で、オリエント急行をイメージした デザイン・塗⾊です。 車内は木目を基調としているそうです。 Enoden Heading toward Fujisawa (left). The front two carriages are "10 type" and were built in 1997 to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the opening. It is a 'Retro Carriage', designed and painted in the image of the Orient Express. I heard that the interior of the carriage is based on wood grain. |
七里ヶ浜高校近くに戻ってきました。
We were back near Shichirigahama High School.

| カフェの行列 昨年春にもここに散歩にきました。 その時にも、ここには行列ができていました。 鎌倉の他の少なからぬお店は閉店しましたが ここはまだまだ大丈夫ですね。 Cafe Queue We came here for a walk last spring as well. Even at that time, there was a queue here. A few other shops in Kamakura have closed, though it's still okay here. |
Rが水筒にカフェオレを用意していましたが、ここでは風が強すぎて、砂も飛び交っていて、飲めません。
元々、海を見ながらカフェオレを飲むと言うのは私の提案でした。
Rも私もカフェオレをここで飲むのは諦めて、帰り道のどこかで飲むことにしました。
帰りは、Rは、江ノ電七里ヶ浜駅近くを通る、行きとは違う道を選びました。
なので、西へ向かって歩きます。

| 化粧品の撮影 海をバックに化粧品(美容用品）の撮影をしていました。 私は、海が光ってすごく撮影しづらかったのですが、 プロは上手に撮るのでしょう。 ちなみに車はから東京やってきているようでした。 Cosmetics Photography They were photographing cosmetics (cosmetology products) with the sea in the background. It was very difficult for me to photograph because the sea was very shining. Professionals would take good pictures. By the way, the car seemed to come from Tokyo. |
R had a cafe au lait in the flask, but the wind was too strong here and the sand was flying around, so we couldn't drink it here.
Originally, it was my suggestion to drink cafe au lait while looking at the sea.
Both R and I gave up drinking cafe au lait here and decided to drink it somewhere on the way home.
On the way back, R chose a different route, near Enoden Shichirigahama Station from the way we went.
So we walked west.

| 私は降りてみましたが、Rは上で待っていました。 飛び交う砂が嫌だったようです。 江ノ島も海も光の中！ I went down, but R was waiting above. He didn't like the flying sand. Enoshima Island and the sea are in the light!  |

国道134号は、海辺の道で、よく交通渋滞になります。
その道を渡って山へ向かいます。

| 時々、この浜辺で花嫁さんの撮影をしています。 こんな風の強い日の今日も、撮影していました。 花婿が見当たらないので、Rは広告のためではないかと 言うのですが、 広告ならこんな日を選ばないと思います。 From time to time, they photograph brides on this beach. They were photographing today on such a windy day. Since we didn't spot the groom, R said it was for advertising, but I don't think they would choose such a day for advertising.  お幸せに！/ Be Happy!  |
5) 帰り道 / On Our Way Back

| 七里ヶ浜駅を出発する江ノ電 この車両は、"300形"、最もよく見かけます。 1956年から1968年にかけて合計6編成12両が デビューしました。 全てが旧形⾞両を改造したもので、 その後も部分的に改良されています。 Enoden Departing from Shichirigahama Station This vehicle is the "300 type", which is most often seen. From 1956 to 1968, a total of 12 carriages of 6 formations made their debut. All are modifications of the old carriages and have been partially improved since then. |

海辺から七里ヶ浜住宅街へと登ってゆきます。
そう、登る！なんですよ。
元気な時はあまり気にならない坂が、今日は....
どんどん体力が落ちて、風も強かったので、登り坂は辛い！
途中、何度か止まらなければならず、日頃の運動不足を反省しました。

I don't really care about the hill when I'm fine, although today.....
My physical strength is getting weaker and the wind was strong, so it was hard to climb!
I had to stop several times on the way, and I reflected on my lack of daily exercise.

| ようやく休憩場所を見つけてホッとしました。 I was relieved to finally find a resting place.  ここでカフェオレを飲みました。 Rがこれを用意してくれていて、本当に助かりました。 ありがとう！ We drank cafe au lait here. R prepared this and it was really helpful. Thank you! |
元気になってまた歩き出しました。
やっぱり、登りなのですが、休まずに続けて歩けました。
I got well and started walking again.
After all, it was a climb, but I could continue walking without rest.

| ベーカー通り シャーロック・ホームズの住所、ベーカー通りの プレートを見つけました。 シャーロック・ホームズの博物館で 購入したのではないでしょうか？ Baker Street I found the address of Sherlock Holmes, the plate on Baker Street. I guess they bought this in the Sherlock Holmes Museum.  同じ家に、コヴェント・ガーデンのプレートもあります。 長い間、英国に住まわれた方のお住まいなのかもしれません。 英国が恋しいのでしょうか？ There is also a Covent Garden plate in the same house. It may be the residence of someone who has lived in Britain for a long time. Do they miss Britain?   |

| 鐘があります。 なんのためでしょうか？ 思い出の品なのかもしれません。 There is a bell. What is it for? It may be a memento. |
ある家の花壇 / Flowerbed of a House

| ここ2,3年、冬に葉牡丹 (ハボタン) を育てていましたが 今回の冬は苗を買いそびれてしまいました。 七里ヶ浜住宅街で、立派に育った葉牡丹を見つけました。  I've been growing Ornamental Kale in the winter for the past few years, but this winter I missed buying seedlings. I found splendidly grown Ornamental Kale in the Shichirigahama residential area.  海綿スポンジを彷彿させます。 It reminds me of Seaweed Sponge.  撮影していた時に、たまたま家の方 (奥様：日本人) がお友達を 見送りに外に出ていらっしゃいました。 この花壇はご主人が趣味で世話をして いらっしゃるとのことでした。 アメリカからいらしていて、今年本国へ帰られる予定だそうです。 今の時期なら、日本の方が安全でしょうに...。 When I was photographing, a family member (wife : Japanese) happened to part with a friend. She said that her husband takes care of this flowerbed as a hobby. They are from the United States and are planning to return to the country this year. Japan would be safer these days...  駐車場脇の小さなスペースですが、 色々と考慮されていることが感じられます。 Though it's a small space beside a parking space, I can feel that he has looked after here with consideration in various ways. |
100段を超える階段は、休み休み登りました。
There are more than 100 steps which we climbed in easy stages.

階段を登ったあとも、自宅までは緩やかな登りなので、ゆっくり歩きました。
この道は、いつもなら、なんでもないのですが、今日は長く感じました。
Even after climbing the steps, we walked slowly because there is still a gentle climb to our house.
This road is usually no trouble, but today it felt a long way.
6) 帰宅 / Return Home

| Rがビールを用意してくれました。 心の癒しに、友人Oさんの絵の年賀状を 添えるところが素晴らしい！ さらに、このグラスは結婚お祝いの品で、 この賀状の作り手からなのです。 Rの配慮に感謝です。 R prepared the beer. It is wonderful to add a New Year's card of a picture by my friend, O to the healing of the heart! Moreover, the pair of glasses was a wedding gift from the creator of this painted greeting card. Thank you for your consideration, R.  ペーパーシェード この光は美しく、落ち着きます。 Paper Shade This light is beautiful and calm. |
かなり疲れましたが、海を近くで見ることができ、満足しました。
コロナ禍でなかなか、外出しづらい時期ですが、散歩程度の外出はしないと心も体も弱くなるように感じます。
出不精な私の反省にもなりました。

I was pretty tired, but I was happy to see the sea close up.
It's a difficult time to go out due to the corona pandemic, but I feel that my mind and body are weakened if I don't go out for a walk.
My tiredness was also a reflection on my stay‐at‐home life.
